How to find water runways is a recurring question in the forums. Here is an easy way to find them, using Little Navmap: 1. In the Little Navmap search window, click on the "Any Surface" field to drop down the selection list. a. Select "Any is Water" b. Do not use any other filters (city, state, ... ) because many water runways do not list that info. c. Scroll down to the bottom of the list to ensure all items are visible. I have scanned all my hard disks for this file and found it in the WpSystem folder, but it hasn't been modified for over a year. It shows all the right content (Asobo, Microsoft, Orbx etc.) but obviously out of date, since none of my newer products are showing in there. So basically I have no current up to date content.xml - is it a problem? All of my purchases and community folder content are showing in the sim, even ones for just yesterday. I was attempting to find it as the author of a mod (that isn't currently working) told me to shuffle it up the load priority in the content.xml.

So after 2 years of faultless operation my trust in the MSFS store version has been betrayed by a requester coming up after the "signing in" and "checking for updates" phases, saying "Something went wrong launching your game - Error code: (0x80004005)" and the program exiting. Interestingly in the xbox app the program shows up with a frown-face icon instead of the play button. Did all the stuff I read about, such as updating xbox/store, logging out an in again, repairing the app and dism/sfc. Still the same. I love helis, and my favorite is the Cowansim 500E. I also like the free Cabri, and the 407 somewhat. I have the Hype H145 and both payware 206's, I like the Cowansim best. OK that is just me the fly inside is great as well. The Hype is great as well, just too easy to fly to be serious fun. So I decided to try the $12 payware R22 that just came to the store. Pretty crude modeling and behavior. The blades are permanently drooping and don't change in flight at all. They have at least on my system an irritating flicker out the canopy. I am using an xbox controller to fly this plane, But sometimes the throttle levers will become uneven, meaning one side is out of sync with the others and it throws the message ASYNC on the PFD's FMA. Any idea on how to get both throttles to be synced as one and not independent from each other?

The best NYC approach to fly is the Parkway visual 13L. You really need to follow the lead in lights on this one but MSFS and any addon scenery has them missing. Even the Enhanced Hight scenery. What has happened to "We Love VFR - VER 3" ? Where do I find it ?

No, it's not the propeller. I discovered a rather perplexing issue. When in MSFS, and only when in MSFS, there is a very faint buzzing noise in my headphones. It almost sounds like static or interference like you might hear from a fan, but it's only buzzing when in MSFS. It does it during the initial loading screen (AFTER the Press Any Key screen) in the menu or in the sim. Volume sliders and other settings do absolutely nothing to the buzzing at all. The sound stutters with changes in activity, whether it be sound or graphics, like hovering over a menu, selecting something, switching menus...anything...even if it's just loading something. I tried to find the solution on Google. How can I disable the text (displayed on the left top) and speech about what is happening. There are some options I disabled etc but nothing happens. Example : catering is on its way or open door etc.

Can you use FSUIPC to assign LVAR or HVAR stuff to regular keyboard keys...? Afaik Spad and the likes can only assign things to hardware controllers but I am wondering if FSUIPC is an exception. I have NO CLUE AT ALL about LVAR and HVAR and all that kind of stuff: it's all completely new to me. I just discovered that using the keyboard for certain things can be quite convenient (up to now I always used the mouse in the VC as much as possible) but a lot of things can't be assigned to the keyboard using the MSFS control options.

After I was only able to use FS2004 for a while (travelling, old laptop), I am astonished how much worse the ATC in MSFS2020 sounds. Part of it is the seemingly reduced number of different ATC voices, regardless if I use Azure or Offline mode. Is there a way (addon) to add more voice variation?

Good evening all, Could someone explane to me what to do after moving the msfs folder. After SU12 my sim is worse, less fps and longer loading times. So I copied my msfs folder from the hdd to a new empty ssd drive. But to make the sim use the new location I wanted to rename the " old " folder. But then a warning appears that application is in use so I can't do that. Is there a work around ? I do not want to delete the old folder right away. Cheers !

I think this warrants a second, and hopefully, more constructive topic. I bought it but then had a grim fight with the installation. This was nothing to do with FSS but everything to do with Aerosofts DRM program. Turns out that the geniuses at Aerosoft didn't realise that the MSFS exe.xml file could be located elsewhere than the default C drive position. So it wouldn't launch because the DRM installer bunged the code in the wrong place.😀 The customer service by FSS was friendly and excellent with a very quick response A temporary solution was forthcoming. Asobo improved, 3rd Party offering or modded version of the Longitude with these features: 1. Better sound and call-outs 2. Working HUD 3. Ability to walk through the cabin, working doors & windows 4. Fewer INOP buttons in the cockpit and less unavailable options in the PFD & MFD 5. Persistent pre-flight maintenance simulation 6. I now have an issue with my HA-420 no longer displaying Navigraph charts. I had previously linked the "database" to my Navigraph account and for a while it worked. Cool. However recently it no longer functions although the chart button in the MFD is active. I've updated to the latest AIRAC and installed all the latest MSFS update. In the "old" days a re-install would be the way to start problem solving. Has anyone deleted an aircraft and re-installed it within MSFS ?? If so what issues would I need to guard against ?
