I'm thinking of getting the ATR after some fun rides in the real thing. After seeing a discussion on the MSFS forum it appears that the plane removes custom waypoints from flight plans. Is that true? So if your flight is: Departure - fix - fix - fix - fix - Destination the ATR turns it into: Departure - Destination Is this correct? // I'm a semi-casual who flies using LNM to generate plans (real world plans from FlightAware) and I use that softwares excellent "Select arrival runway" feature that lines me up nicely on a 5 or 10nm approach. Hi , I just finished a cross the continent flight from KJFK to KLAX in the Fenix A321 IAE SL with 2 act tanks installed as AAL300. At first this flight would have being dropped as Simbrief gave me-1950lbs of fuel to respect alternatives and final reserves. To long range and a headwind of 83 knots. I thought what the heck lets try it out and imported the plan to the AC. Active Sky was also more forgiven with the wind. 53knots average headwind and the MCDU also calculated the enroute fuelburn to be 9000 punds less than the original plan.(34000 vs 43000lbs) 210 souls+2 and 6h10m later i had 12500lbs in the tanks at the gate at KLAX instead of 7600lbs So about…

I already have Lossless Scaling launched whenever I run my Windows desktop. Additionally, is there a way to automatically run the latest version of Lossless Scaling each time MSFS 2020 is launched so that I don't have to press the shortcut key or press the "Scale" button? In other words, it just runs in the background without any intervention from the user ie. in an out-of-sight out-of-mind kind of a way.

On Sunday night I attempted KLAS to EGLL in the PMDG 777W in 2020. About six hours into the flight, a total crash to desktop with no warning messages. Tried the same flight last night and again about five to six hours into the flight a CTD. I've done hundreds of flights across the atlantic in the PMDG 777 without problems and haven't changed any settings or add ons. Any way I can stop this happening? Is it likely to be a problem my end or at Microsoft / Asobos? Thanks

I'm getting textures bleeding through the ground at all airports....(understandable at addon airports that aren't update). I created a new rolling cache and deleted scenery indexes, but the issue still remains. Is anyone else experiencing this?

I am looking at purchasing the Cockspur PHenom 100 but I notice from their website that they have the G1000 (presumably thge Working Title version) Whilst this unit in all my aircraft equipped with it and its performance is outstanding, I particularly dislike changing comms and Nav frequencies and find it very difficult and fiddly, particularly in VR. So Damian at HiFiSim/ASFS has identified a pretty nasty bug with MSFS winds and I just confirmed it myself. Wondering if others see it as well. When winds go above 149kts it seems like they drop out entirely causing massive issues with overspeed, altitude deviations or even causing the aircraft to lose speed and almost stall. I'm in the PMDG 777 right now and had the wind limiter in ASFS set to 149 but wanted to see what would happen if I cranked it to 250 (limit not wind) to see if I could leverage the 160 kt tail winds. Question for you... When pushing back, GSX will tell me in certain situations to not start the engines until parking break is set due to icing conditions. This happens to me some times on a clear day when I wouldn't need to de-ice. Is this a bug or is there a certain reason why I shouldn't start the engines even when there is no precip? In a de-ice scenario I would understand why they would say that but on a clear day, I never understood. Thanks!

Hi All, I know that this subject has been covered before, but I can't find any recent comparisons between Bijan Seasons 7.2 and the latest Rex Accuseason. Most comparisons are 10 months old now and from what I can gather Rex has grown up a bit since then. I already have the Bijan product but I haven't seen much in the way of updates for a few months. I have Flight Simulator 2020. I downloaded the Learjet 35A from the Market Place. When I start dark and cold, I cannot get the transponder to turn on. The batteries and avionics switches are on, both in the sim and on my Honeycomb Yoke. When I start the flight from the runway, the transponder is on and working. I have looked through the cockpit and made sure every switch is turned on but no transponder from dark and cold.

Hi All, I'm hoping for some enlightenment. About 2 weeks ago I started experiencing very laggy graphics and sound stuttering. Also, loading times of the simulator became horrendously long just getting to the main menu and then just as long launching after hitting “Fly”. My Fenix aircraft wouldn’t automatically sign in resulting in a dead aircraft at the gate. I tried to think back over any recent updates that I had carried out.
