Hey guys. Decided to create a thread where we all will write feedback from what we saw in leaked videos. Lets prioritize what we want to be fixed before or after the release and hope Asobo team sees it. My personal wish is 1. ATC Voice to sound more realistic (Voice not pronunciation). At the moment it sound very cartoonish. 2. Wheels to work as wheels. I might be wrong on this one but from what Ive seen seems like wheels slide too much on ground. Again this might be because of poor flying by leaked pilot (Kinda expected) but anyway hope its more real in game. Feel free to drop your thoughts cheers

Hello to all. My question is this. I have a purchased copy of fsx thanks to steam. Will the new up coming sim that's coing out on August 18th, come to steam? If so, how can we tell the difference between fsx and the newer fs 2020, or will the newer fs 2020 program just be a upgrade from fsx? If so, I wonder which of the three versions they'll upgrade fsx to? Or, if we attempt to purchase the newer flight simulator program, how we'll be able to tell that we have the newer copy so that we may remove the older copy of fsx? Just asking so that I make shure that I grab the correct copy of the newer flight simulator. Because the $120 vers…

In addition to the initial cost of the Simulator, will there be additional costs by way of subscription in order to get the full streamed world? Feedback appreciated.

Hello, all. I am a fan of Ryzen CPUs due to their low cost and good performance. The new series are getting better and better. Also they do really well on multi thread, while Intel is good for single thread and they have good IPC. I remember to have read something saying that FS2020 is multi thread and Microsoft published both settings, with Ryzen or Intel. Does anybody have Ryzen or may be getting Ryzen for FS2020? Regards, Matheus

Sooner or later they'll show up in the FS. Do heliports and helipads already exist in the new beautiful FS-world? I don't mean the reserved areas at almost every airport but facilities like London Heliport or Héliport de Monaco and of course rooftop helipads on hospitals, e.g. Has anyone noticed anything?

We have had declarations of interest and partnership or serious hints from several top-tier developers except for one or two. Like A2A which has provided most of my FSX and P3D fleet. A2A seemed very busy with their contracts with the USAF these recent years. Are we going to see their birds in FS20 ? Should we think that no news is good news ? They are awfully quiet.

I have concerns after reading some of the posts here. Some people are suggesting that we should take a wait and see attitude in regards to this sim. I think that would be a big mistake. If we don't all support the developers from the beginning, this sim may never get the resources needed to overcome the many obstacles that will be around in the beginning. I have purchased the premium addition because I want to support the developers. This sim has the potential to be such a big leap forward from anything we have now that I want to give the developers all the resources they need to be successful. One post advised people to use the game pass to get the game for a dollar…

Since most of the data is streamed from the cloud, what would happen if Asobo/Microsoft no longer provide any support or abandons the sim? Does that mean we won't be able to use the sim anymore since it's dependent on the petabytes of data that is streamed over from the cloud? This is one thing that I'm worried about, and that's the future of MFS.

We know for example that EasyVFR works but without breaking any NDA's can anyone confirm that other 3rd party add-ons are presently being tested which might be available out of the gate in marketplace. For example, airports, aircraft, chaseplane, peripherals like yokes ect..

When MSFS will launch on 18 August, AVSIM will probably be flooded by posts like (i) "This sim is complete s**t", (ii) "This sim is the best ever", (ii) "I like this sim better/worse than XP / P3D / FSX", and the like. This can't be avoided and some users may even want to rely their purchase decision on if higher numbers are collected for (i) or (ii). Nothing wrong with that. However, I would propose a deal: Can we have one subforum strictly restricted to factual information? This refers to questions like "How can I enter outside view?", "Which settings are optimum for photogrammetry cities?", "Where can I activate caching?", etc. etc. This subforum should be st…

Hi there, Probably that has been already discussed, but I could only find post commenting on FSX backwards compability. That what was said, wasn't much. Is there anyting new on this? I assume, even if MS provides us such an option, I really doubt that it will be satisfying. However, what I want to know is: are there any statements made, in regard to P3D Addons? The bad or you can call it stupid thing is, I bought some P3D addons without even having P3D. They were on bargain and I knew someday I will switch, when I get better hardware. Back then, we hadn't even a clue about a new sim. So do you think there might be a chance that those addon are compatible?…

Certainly a good choice (too many but this is another story) and all the aircraft of interest, for me, are in the standard package (like the airports !) ! Can't complain. Something weird is the 172 which is in the default package with the G1000 and in the 5+5 premium package without any indication. Steam gauges Skyhawk ? https://www.flightsimulator.com/microsoft-flight-simulator-set-for-launch-on-august-18-for-pc-also-with-xbox-game-pass-for-pc-beta/

Hi, sorry if this is a stupid post. I'm a 320 pilot looking for a sim to maintain currency on. Will the 320 in this sim be a full fidelity implementation or simplified? I've watched as many videos as I can find on youtube. I see the FMA appears to work, A/THR etc. Is the FMGC implemented? Can I get ECAMS etc? Thanks.

This is an interesting tongue-in-ckeek comment on a French forum. How does the real customer really play, not the picky hardcore forum crowd ? MS and Asobo may have had the feeling that most of them actually play like in the wretched 320/SFO video : no flaps, full throttle, staying in external view, and soon and so forth. Heaven protect us ! Also, on the same forum, not so encouraging returns on the flight models of the aerobatic aircraft : Pitts, Cap 10 and Extra. Very Carenado-like. I think that the ToS prevent me to give a link. This is Pilote Virtuel.

I know some simmers would like the airports especially the handcrafted ones but some simmers appreciate the finer details and after looking at the screenshot of Dubai airport I was very disappointed because you can see its not accurate at all especially the old terminal buildings and this is one of the "handcrafted" airport. I also compared KSFO to Flightbeam and in my opinion the Flightbeam looks so much better. Again I know some simmers would like the airports but when I am taxiing at DXB airport my brain would pick on these inaccuracies and it will ruin the immersion for me as I am very familiar with DXB airport and sharing 1000s of DXB photos over the years with …

These days I have way too much time to go around and think about MSFS and all the things that are implied with the new tech. Ie, they use satelite imagery to generate all the airports in the world together with use of AI and algorithms to make good representations of those airports in the sim. So the imagery are pictures, basically, and they are snapshots in time of that area. So what happens if an airport is undergoing heavy maintenance? like having a runway shut down and full of construction vehicles and things? Or maybe a new runway is being constructed and later opened for service. How often, if ever, will MS update their resources to stay somewhat up to date with wha…
