I know some simmers would like the airports especially the handcrafted ones but some simmers appreciate the finer details and after looking at the screenshot of Dubai airport I was very disappointed because you can see its not accurate at all especially the old terminal buildings and this is one of the "handcrafted" airport. I also compared KSFO to Flightbeam and in my opinion the Flightbeam looks so much better.

Again I know some simmers would like the airports but when I am taxiing at DXB airport my brain would pick on these inaccuracies and it will ruin the immersion for me as I am very familiar with DXB airport and sharing 1000s of DXB photos over the years with certain developers that will bring it to MSFS2020 so I will just wait for them to release their version as it will be far more accurate.

I appreciate what MS and ASOBO has done and this simulator is ahead of any sim ever known but I must say I prefer SOME top tier well known respected 3PDs to develop airports for this platform as there will be demand for their scenery and the 3PDs that were ripping off simmers for so many years with scenery/aircraft that looked like it was made for FS98 well their time seems to be up since the default MSFS2020 will make it hard for simmers to justify spending on FS98 looking addons!

I also think MSFS2020 release is being rushed out as most you I was predicting an end of year release and maybe one of the reasons is the current global economic climate? there is so much uncertainty due to covid19 and maybe MS wanted to get return on all the money they invested? I mean the whole world is in recession and sales number wont be same in near future due to prediction of further huge job losses.

Where did you see any screenshot of Dubai airport? Dubai is present with full detail only in Premium deluxe version. So I think, you couldn't see Dubai airport yet 😉

KDEN is another handcrafted airport that does not appear to be anything special.  Perhaps the photo is of the basic airport ($59) and not the handcrafted one.  The photo shows the control tower and what is supposed to be the C concourse.  But the sim photo is showing those gates as A which is not correct.

I played the trailer and paused it frame by frame until I saw an airport overview and a few airport buildings look accurate but the rest are not accurate at all another thing that caught my eye was those buildings on approach to runway 12. Those buildings seem to be very brown, ugly and tall even the ones close to the airport? in real life its mainly 3 storey buildings and then warehouses as you get closer to airport but from this angle it looks like those buildings are obstructing approach into runway 12 lol and those buildings behind terminal 2 well there are a lot of high rise buildings in real life yet in the sim they're missing. I can also see a lot of important land marks are not modelled. 

I sincerely hope Flytampa will convert their Dubai city since comparing Dubai footage from initial trailer until now its mainly ugly brown buildings again I appreciate what Asobo and MS are doing and I understand they may have limited data on Dubai so hopefully in the future to have better access to make it more accurate.

Yes - everything we see in the trailers and screenshots that does not look good will certainly be fixed until the release at August 18th! You will get a perfect simulator that does everything perfectly and will depict every location on the whole world perfectly in perfect aircraft with perfect weather, perfect AI and perfect ATC and run perfectly fine on every (however imperfect) computer.

Everything will be perfect. And if it is not, the perfect team Asobo with their perfect partners, all under the perfect supervision of perfect Microsoft will make it perfect for you in a perfectly short time!

I hope they do but considering it’s already in beta I don’t think they will further refine the area so hopefully in a future update :)

Some one tells it? 😉 Pics are mostly from older MSFS build and many things was improved already. And many things will be improve yet, but not all, it's clear.

I know this has been mentioned but I really wish they’d throw a bit of dirt and general wear to these custom buildings. Just takes away some immersion, no airport building in the world is that clean especially one in a desert.

Agree with you but to a degree I can understand the likes of Boeing/Airbus etc wanting their aircraft to look immaculate so I’d expect to wait for paint jobs for that but buildings, there’s no reason for it which is a shame as the modelling is really nice just the overall look is spoilt.
