Still trying to get all the systems figured out in the various aircraft, how do you tune the nav radios in the 747?

In P3D the ATC wasn't the greatest, but flying an ILS approach you at least got vectored to intercept the localizer at the correct altitude. I now find that ATC pretty much abandons me after giving me an approach procedure, no more vectors and atlitudes....

Hey guys, if I wanted to set custom weather and clouds, how would I set the following (for example)? scattered clouds at 3200 feet AGL broken clouds at 15000 feet AGL overcast cloud deck at 25000 AGL Setting up custom weather isn't the most intuitive in this regard. Initially it seems you can choose a cloud layer (such as 'scattered' let's say), and there appear to be little cloud icons underneath that where you can set bottoms and tops, but are all of those just for the initial cloud layer you selected? How do I select all 3 types with their different AGLs?

Greetings all!! Newbie here and this is my first post! I hope that everyone is enjoying MSFS2020 as much as I am. For some reason though, I cannot enable ATC in the toolbar. It is greyed out and the "Tower icon" is missing from the toolbar. I can hear ATC and when I let the AI control ATC Comms, the AI calls my tail number and the AI responds back to ATC. I cannot for the life of me find a setting to fix this. I have gone through the forums looking for the issue, and have even tried a couple of fixes for similar issues (Weather missing), but to no avail. I have even tried the "Windows Offline" trick to see if that helped. Nope! Anyway, if …

How do you turn the autopilot on? I've tore the G1000 apart and see no switch for autopilot.

I'm not having much success with 2020. I'm running a 4K monitor and I know that has some impact, but blimey, I fail to see why my GPU is stuck at 100% load most of the time. I have hyperthreading turned on. Trying top get smooth performance with frames above 30 is proving a trial. Settings are set at high, with many options switched off. Has anyone any idea why my GPU, especially a 1080ti, is loading out like this?

Greetings All, I unfortunately did not catch the install directory (or options) for the install of FS2020, so of course it installed by default to C:. I'd like to put this on my SSD, but i'm reading conflicting ways of doing so. Some users claim there is a "Move" button within Apps & Features, yet some say uninstall then reinstall. I cannot find a "move" button within Apps & Features. Secondly, I tried uninstalling FS2020 through Steam and it took forever. I finally gave up, rebooted and found that FS2020 was still on C:\ and never uninstalled. Apologize, if this has been asked recently. Any suggestions?

Is there any detailed Panel documentation for the TBM A/C? Setting up the auto pilot? Does the actual TBM A/C have this panel? It seems kind of Sci-Fi ish. Not like a typical Single Engine prop panel. Thanks!

After watching and visiting a good many different forums and discords some public some private. I have to say I am very excited in this new generation of flight sim modders and the possibilities they can bring to MSFS 2020. Some very good things are being created. While the quality of a lot of it is not what I would call payware some of this is looking pretty good. Good times for us all in this coming year. Day 9

Okay, if you have any doubts about the future of this product do what I just did and take off from KSAN. Doubt GONE. What an incredible level of immersion. Once the AI traffic has real livery paint it'll be just like being there. Stunning experience.

I had the Beta in a "MSFS BETA" directory on my NVME-SSD, Drive J, and was reluctant to delete it in case any common files remained with the release version, also on Drive J. Deleted the MSFS BETA directory and gained about 90 gb of space with no adverse effect running the sim. I celebrated with my first wheels up landing inadvertently with the VL3. Yikes!

Flying around Chicago, and other big cities, my scenery looks nothing like Bing or google earth. The buildings look like they're drawn, the streets are green. I've seen other videos on youtube and my scenery doesn't look anything like that. My graphics on global rendering are set on high end. I don't have the fastest pc, but its no dog either. I7 4700K @4.3 GTX 1070ti. Do I have to change something else in settings? Gnacino

I would like to report and hear about your experience with stutters. In my case eventhough I lower settings to maintain a solid 60fps, every turn and the general feeling is deminished by constent micro stutters. And this is flying Cessna 152. Do you have the same combo FPS v.s stutters ? I use the latest Nvidia drivers with a 1070. Thanks. Souheil Mellah

Small questions here. I was flying the VL3 Evolution around Victoria Island yesterday when I ran into icing conditions. I discovered my airspeed indicator had stopped working and suspected my pitot tube must have frozen. I went looking around the cockpit to find a pitot heater button but couldn't find one. However, the mapped pitot heater on my keyboard solved the problem. Q: Does anyone know if the VL3 Evolution has a pitot heater button IRL and it's not been modelled in the MFS cockpit?
