Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

Absolutely no idea what's going on here... it was fine a couple of days ago. Maybe a windows update? As soon as I click world map my pc shuts down and reboots. I can click marketplace, news or any other button. It only happens when clicking world map in full screen. I have no overclocking. No temp issues. Run stresstests for GPU and CPU no issues. Also no issues in other games like P3D or what ever game I tried. Anyone with the same issue?

Is there any way to select both power, mixture... knobs with the mouse at the same time to keep them in sync. Regards

And it was beautiful! The wind was more than 3 kts, changing and gusting! For the first time it felt like I'm flying. I saw weathervaning during approach landing, and shed tears of happiness during "crab and kick" on touch down! And then I got a cute note from my passenger!

Good evening, So i am planning to subscribe for Navigraphs Chart service and would like to know if i can use it on multiple devices like MSFS on PC and Navigraph on a Tablet/Smartphone. During the subscription progress i can chose to download for window, IOs and so on so first i though i have to chose and stick with one of them while i'd surely prefer to have Navigraph running on my tablet while flying. I'm sure we have experienced fellow simmers who can enlighten me on this one. Many thanks in advance! Tom

These stutters are making it unplayable for me. There are lots of micro stutters and then 1-2 second full screen pauses thrown in there as well. The times it is not stuttering you can see the sim running very smoothly, so it is possible. Somthing is causing these horrible stutters. Running on high settings, gtx1070 with the latest drivers. i am away from my pc at the moment so haven’t had a chance to try out any fixes but I hope it can be fixed. Hi, have anybody succeeded with fuel planning for the default A320? im trying a flight between ESSA and LGKO, when loaded the flight generated in pfpx into msfs and took off... The fuel ran out mid flight, had to cheat and refuel midair... so apparently msfs doesnt fuel plan at all... The pfpx fuel planner isnt good enough I guess since the default A320 has a pretty huge fuel consumption?

Hi Can anyone please advise. So far the sim has been working ok. due to some strange reason yesterday the planes do not respond to the yoke,rudder and throttle axis. The buttons work ok. In the msfs 2020 controls section,the controllers do create a response on the axis. I have checked the settings in window 10-all axis are working. I have p3d and all axis work OK. in msfs 2020 the axis do not create a response, when I load a flight ..The planes loads with full throttle and just speeds and takes off automatically. I have changed the settings to default,still nothing. Many thanks. Qas

I only have the standard version, but am thinking about upgrading to Deluxe. I've heard though, that some of the configuration files of the added planes (e.g. aircraft.cfg, system.cfg) are in an encrypted format, and can thus not be edited. Can someone who has the luxury packages check if that's true? Thanks!

I've been running on my 4k TV, i7-8700k, 1080 Ti, 16GB, Samsung 970 EVO. I should add that up until very recently all my gaming has been on VR (for years) - I say this as acceptable frame rates / graphical quality is a different ball game in VR. Going back to a screen w/o head tracking is taking me back. When I first installed my first impressions were: wow! this thing looks good. I was also very impressed to see all my cores (12) being utilised - having been used to seeing just 1 on DCS (plus a 2nd doing very little), and the issues that brings. Most busy CPU core around 80%, average CPU around 40%, GPU constant at 98 - 100% I initially settled on HIGH set…

What Asobo and their partner’s have produced in MFS2020 is just astronomical after what I have seen with a day’s exposure to the sim, but I have grave fears for the future due, not to sim but the way it is being handled in Windows by Microsoft and the archaic way the program is installed on our PC’s. I have noticed some checklist are better, some are worse, but I was completely disappointed by the CJ4 checklist. It's a pretty complex jet and the checklists only tell you how to start the engines. And that's it! Later you're completely on your own and guesswork begins. I think some people will have to wait for YouTube full flight tutorials...

Hello, When I buy and plug a yoke to my system, ( when it's not sold out ), will I still be able to use my joystick for rudder ? Or do you really need rudder pedals ? Greetings.

We were told on one of the features videos about cooperation with 3ps that Meteoblue is the feed for weather in MFS. At a first glance I thought MS / ASOBO had decided to somehow take control of the weather in MFS's environment, creating a feature full built in system. Apparently this is not, at least for now, the case... We can glance at the Globe and see patches of cloud systems, or use the filters to choose winds and other sorts of data, but afaik it is mostly that. Cloud coverage looks great in MFS, and that part of the data assimilation and display / physics model feed is indeed done by MFS's weather engine, but either because they didn't yet found the time…

I had waited for a lonnng time to see someone come up with what FS2020 had bring to some of us with a POSITIVE ATTITUDE towards FS2020 . This is not my video but what this gentleman says is pretty much in par with my feelings.

OK, I know I have been quite whiny about the airliners and flight models, but surely it will get better and of course 3rd party aircrafts will show up. For the past 24 hours or so I have more often than not kicked back as a passenger. Yes, that is right. A passenger! I've handed over the yoke to my AI officer and went back in the cabin wing view to play around with different settings, lighting, weather without having to focus on the flying. A passenger simulator if you will. Now there's time to enjoy all scenery details on final approach and I know this is old news but MY GOD what an achievement. So, for the past week, I've tweaked and tweaked and tweaked settings in order to stop the stuttering and pausing. Just when I thought it's finally solved, here they come back. At this point, I'm left hoping for a miracle with the, soon to be released, patch. I have this sobering feeling that, for my hardware and internet connection, the outlook for me moving forward with MSFS2020 in the near term is slim at best. I have struggled for the last 2 weeks to get my flight controls (Alpha Yoke,-CH Pedals-Throttles) etc to work,,,,,I can find no instructions on how to properly program them in MSFS 2020. They work perfectly in P3D V4 and 5, any suggestions on how to get them to work in MSFS 2020? Is there a manual available? I have to yet be able to fly this sim. Ivan P

Hi, is it possible to start a flight with atc without the route being added in the mcdu in the airbus?

One of the firsts things I noticed on my initial MSFS2020 flight was some of the missing landmarks in Atlanta. Places like Truist Park (previously Suntrust Park) and Mercedes Benz stadium. I thought this data was downloaded real time from Bing maps. I checked Bing maps and of course both of these site are there. Does anyone have any insight on how this works?
