As you can see from the image, the sun glare is quite strong through a thick rainy overcast. Looks like you are flying through a forest fire. Any way to decrease this?

How do i look up ils frequencies when in flight approaching an airport thanks

Trying to take a scenic flight with the A5 at 500ft. But even when i set the altitude that low in the flight plan, the AI won’t go below 2000 ft while flying. im a novice at this stuff so i apologize if i get the terminology wrong but I think it’s because i don’t have IFR clearance for under 2000 ft. Whenever i ask to set my cruise altitude there it’s denied. Is there any way to override the AI ATC?

Just sad to see some parking at the gates are pretty messed up, default airport are just fine with me but at least make it right, as MS Asobo mentioned that gates and taxiways are handcrafted with the exception of terminals and taxiway signs, it's hard to missed where the aircraft should be facing toward the terminal. RPLL Terminal 1 Terminal 2 I enjoy this sim and have 27hrs of flight time with it, it just sad to it this way. indeed it's been a rushed work.

Found this and thought it was a good travelogue, as well as a good look at the city at its best using PG in the sim.

Anyone else get this? Yesterday I launched and played FS2020 all day and even got in and made some minor tweaks and stuff without issue. However today for some reason every time I launch FS2020 I get a CTD when loading after the "Press Any Button" screen! This is not the 1st time this has happened. I have good days when everything works without issue and then some days its a No Go all day. Have had some days when it would not work in the morning and afternoon but come up on 5pm PST time and all of a sudden its working great again. Do you have an impression that all those IFR planes their FMC/MCDUs are most likely arcade planes not real one? Most of the buttons are inOp, FMC can't even allow you make changes, it's like 10-20% of real functionality of pmdg/fslab - you can't even input a road only points, I think for all IFRers it'll take some time to really have fun. VFR is really cool, but IFR so far not so much. Do you have same impression?

Can you display a map of the GPS in the C-152 when flying. Still flying FS2004 and I display the GPS in all aircraft's Also is there a way to show you flight path after finishing? Like to see how I have done say on an apaproach

The C152 is by far my favorite aircraft to fly. I have spent countless hours sight seeing and just having a blast. However, all of that has occurred at 3500 or below. So today, I tried something different, and climbed this puppy high. Or at least tried to. I encountered something I didn't expect. I just couldn't get the plane to climb higher than 5500 feet. It started to act sluggish around 5000. My takeoff airport has an altitude of 800 feet so the first 4000 feet of climb seemed to be fine. I was climbing at about 75 knots with a climb rate of about 600fpm. And then everything went to sluggish. Heres the thing, I took it for a flight once from KEGE to KASE…

Where can i find a mod to improve the default 787? It makes it unbearable not to be able to align IRS, use the checklist, EFB...

Slew mode (y) has a slew up slow and slew down slow which both work as expected, but slew left, right, back or forward (Num4, Num6, Num8 and Num8) instantly throws me about 1/4 mile with just a really quick tap on the key. Has anyone else figured out slew in MSFS? Thanks.

Am I alone with opinion, that runway PAPI light has an insufficient level of intensity? Maybe it's problem only with non-HDR monitor, but I think, that PAPI should be recognized correctly from more far distance in the good visibility day conditions, than we can see in MSFS. And I think, that aircraft landing lights should be a little more powerfull too. Ok, landing lights are only a cosmetics problem, but if I'm in a visual approach, I would greatly appreciate a little more PAPI usable distance.

Hi, community! Please, can someone share the solution for the installing of this sim - I can not install it at all. In short: i7, 16GB, GeForce GTX1070 and the latest X-Plane works very fine. MFS 2020 installation stucks immediately and I get PLAY icon on Store and nothing is downloaded. I bought Deluxe version. Any help?

All the autogen trees in Connecticut (at least east of Hartford) and most in Rhode Island are being rendered as grass! I thought I broke my trees, but when I go back to where I've seen trees work in the past, they are still there. I even landed on the "tree grass" to prove that MFS actually thinks the trees are grass (and there is actual grass being rendered). Photogrammetry trees are fine, but it's JUST photogrammetry. Switching photogrammetry off results in fields of tree grass. Has anyone else experienced this? What's going on??

Can we do something about annoying "Landing gear" aural warning when thottles on idle? I mean its ok when autothrottle not armed you can add a tiny amount of thrust to shut it up, but getting this warning when autothrottle angaged and idling a thottle is a showstoper for sure((((((

I've noticed a couple of airports in North America that are modeled in the sim but don't actually exist. I wonder how something like this happens? While flying over southern Oregon, I noticed the AI called my position relative to KTUA which wasn't an airport I was familiar with despite knowing the area well. It showed on the sim's VFR map as being northeast of Klamath Falls, but a search on airnav showed that identifier isn't used, and a search on google maps shows no airport in that location at all. Thought it was just a fluke but today found "KTAK" west of Dillon, MT - the sectional shows nothing there, google maps shows no airport, and airnav says that identifier isn't…

Not making a comment on either side (this forum is not for political discussion) but I do find it interesting that the (absolutely AWESOME) Drzewiecki Designs Washington DC scenery pack actually includes Black Lives Matter plaza. It's interesting because that is very new, and some other things that have been around longer (such as Audi Field and the addon for the Kennedy Center) are not yet modeled (still 2D construction sites). So I assume this was a conscious decision that they manually added in. Regardless this is one heck of a great scenery upgrade (look at how much better the White House is in the pic) but I just found the BLM inclusion interesting.

I know that the screens can be opened in a separate window but what about the entire instruments like we did in FSX? If there's a little bit of turbulence the knobs are very difficult to be turned/toggled and switching forth and back to another camera view takes too much time during an approach. Is that an oversee by MSFS or deliberately? Roland

(1.) I am having some issues. I can get like 60fps in the Cessna 152 and other small props with everything on High and crazy real-world weather, thunderstorms, massive cloud formations and systems, etc. No problem. I can even pull about 40-50fps in Manhattan with all its buildings, etc. But for some reason, I load up a 747 ANYWHERE on earth, at literally the lowest graphics settings possible including lower resolution (I tried it) and cant get more than 10-15 fps. The heavy aircraft are not even playable in my opinion just due to the performance alone. Anyone else having this issue? Is there a way to display your flight after you are done to see how you did say on an approach? Also Is there a way to display the moving map (GPS) say when selecting the C-152

DD's Washington DC scenery is awesome, probably the best available in the game. Everything from street lamps on the walkways to the WWII Memorial looks like you're actually there. I used to go to DC alot in my younger days and I can say if you walk around in drone mode you feel immersed in the scenery. This is a must buy in my opinion. On top of that I had high frame rates and no stutters. I don't know how they did it but everything looks perfect. Sorry I don't know how to post screenshots. It's nice having the Washington Monument in the game now also. Ya, I'm a word not allowed of Drzewieki Designs and will probably buy all their sceneries.

Hi guys, Does anyone use one of these controllers with the gyroscope? Is it possible to use it as a yoke? I know it's possible to use it to turn the steering wheel in racing games. Any feedback? Thanks!

There are a lot of add-ons coming out for the sim and I would like to organize and cleanup my Community folder a bit. Is it possible for us to create subfolders inside of the main Community folder? For example I would like keep all my liveries in a 'livery' folder instead of having a bunch of them piling up inside the root Community folder. Same for other types of add-ons such as plane fixes, city landmarks and poi addons, etc.
