I think I’m going to feel really dumb when someone answers this question, but where is the altitude select knob on the Baron (G1000)? I can’t find it or figure out another way to set the altitude. Thanks

Hey guys, I've got lot experience in XPlane with many different aircraft's (FF A320, Zibo, B 767, TBM...) but I'm not able to fly the CJ4 or the Longitude using FCH or VNAV AP-Mode... I can just control them with VS-Mode... Is there a trick not to end up flying directly to heaven with over 10.000 ft/min or in ground?! Maybe all these things are still a little buggy? I still get these in P3D a few times per flight if it's thru dense scenery, and despite good smooth performance in MSFS I was getting them pretty frequently during flights thru complex scenery also, and they would last longer. Might fly along for 2 or 3 minutes then the CPU would shoot up to 100% from some rather lower number and frame rate vsync'd to 30Hz screen would stutter for a second or two, then settle back down to normal smooth flight w/ lots of headroom. I decided after reading one of the threads to enable HT and dang if that wasn't the complete end of these. I haven't gone back to see if it helps P3D, but wow what a difference in MSFS. Greetings all... I have probably just missed it, but can anyone point me to where to set the time, or a UTC offset? I always fly live weather, and the sim forces me to UTC which is an hour wrong where I am.. eg at this time, UTC says it is 6:39 pm but here in the UK it is 7:39 PM. (I am on the north europe server) Oh yeah.. in the sim at UTC 6:39 its nightime in the sim, but out the window it is still daylight until 9:00pm here where I live. Thanks in advance.. Graham

So I noticed an issue where I've installed more than 1 livery pack from different authors for the same aircraft. I dropped them both into the community folder but only 1 shows up and not the other. Since I've seen a post and video that talks to authors about how to set up the folder and configs for "easy" user installations (where all we should need to do is drop all our paints into the community folder from various authors and all of them will magically work alongside each other), and since it is not working...all I can assume is that either the authors I've downloaded from are not configuring things correctly for global compatibility with other authored paints, or …

I noticed that when i listen to the ATIS, there's not the altimeter, is it a bug? I'm surprised because in P3D, there's the altimeter of the departure airport. If it's not a bug, how to know?

Does anyone know a way to force the exe to run as admin every time, rather than having to right click it, run as administrator? I gained access to the area of files, right clicked on the exe and set it to be administrator, but each time the sim loads it doesnt launch as such. This is needed, because for me (and some others) its the only way live weather ever seems to work, or at least consistently. Thanks in advance

Does anyone know if the SDK allows people to create missions and/or flights where things are scripted to happen along the way? I remember this was a big thing with FSX - you could download all kinds of journeys like that. I remember one mission where you're flying out over a misty sea when a GIANT iceberg appears out of the gloom, and there's a sort of archway or opening in it that you could fly inside, revealing a secret base complete with landing strip.

I have this issue lots of times. I load my flight. and put a preset with clouds.. but there are no clouds. I change between presets, even raining, and it doesn't change anything, just the color of the sky. Then the only way I found to fix it was to load again the sim from the desktop.. and even sometimes loading it again, doesn't help. Any help?

Probably a bit of a noob question but ive searched everywhere and i cant figure out if there is a way to use the keyboard for the MFD in the cockpit. pushing the knobs with the mouse is really frustrating. Thanks

Is there a way to turn off and on the synthetic screen feature on the g1000/3000, please?

Hi everyone, Today I attempted a from Dublin to Madrid but ran out of fuel due “centre” and “inner” thanks being empty. How do I change fuel mid flight to my “outer” thanks which were both 100% full. Apologies if this a silly question, very new to flight sim! I started the journey with around 80% fuel. Thanks!

Is this possible? They take a second to load when I switch to external view, so I wonder if there is a way to turn them off? Or do I have to use the drone view? (which I don't want to do really).

Sometime my left stick translates the camera and other things are messed. For example when I press left stick, default landing gear, this console opens which I then close with B-button. What is this? I have unplug the pad, restart PC and then it works again. No idea what's going on.

Anyone have an idea how to do this, or if possible? Currently in a GA flight where I should be heading towards WP19 but reloading the saved flight the Garmin has gone back to WP14 >>> WP15 and the external marker shows WP7. Changing the active leg on the Garmin is not changing the visible WP and, as any attempt to re-engage AP/NAV gives me the usual overbanked plunge to the ground, I just want to hand fly the rest of the plan. However I don't really want to go back 11 waypoints in order to to that!

Maybe it's an IFR noob thing and I'm just missing something obvious, but I am able to set up my G1000 (C172) prior to takeoff. After takeoff and into the climb I attempt to use my mouse to engage the autopilot and it is now unable to interact with the nav panels, and in fact, I can't manipulate any controls at all in the cockpit. I paused to see which keyboard control toggled the autopilot, and at some point it seemed to activate - and actually responded to my presets, but I still had no mouse control of anything on the panel, or within the AC interior (throttle, etc. - had to use joystick throttle). Any suggestions?

Since MSFS 2020 was released, I have been using my old PC (i7 2600, gtx 980ti). However, I just finished building a new computer with all the latest trimmings. I mirrored my old ssd to a new ssd m.2. Everything loads up perfectly. But, whenever I try to load msfs2020, I get this message:"Microsoft Flight Sim is not available in your account, error code Ox3f8001? I can not find a customer service phone or email to ask for help. Any suggestions will do--Help help.
