As we all know, the stars on the world map represents the handcrafted airports or sceneries. And we are adding new airports or sceneries to the Community folder where some also appear with stars on the world map. Does anyone know how to add these stars to the custom airports or sceneries (which seems to be possible) or know a reference that discribes how todo it ? Thanks in advance.

Hi, I have downloaded MSFS2020 Premium Deluxe Version from the MS store. When I open the game and check the “Official Content” menu in the “Marketplace”, I see the following logo’s: Premium Upgrade (Owned and Installed); Deluxe Upgrade (Owned) and Premium Deluxe Upgrade (Owned). If I click on either the Deluxe Upgrade or Premium Deluxe Upgrade icon, I get OWNED, DOWNLOAD and GO TO CONTENT MANAGER selections. Q: DO I NEED TO INSTALL THESE UPGRADES SEPARATE AND AGAIN? I don't know that I did but ATC text besides appearing the ATC window suddenly showed in the VC away from the ATC window in the bottom of the left PFD in the TBM930. Any ideas? Sorry i didn't get screen shot!

If so how do you know if it’s toggled on or not? Moved to a yoke, don’t have pedals as they’re sold out everywhere and had twist rudder on a stick before. I've turned on the takeoff assist but not sure if the key bind works in flight or would even be helpful. Kinda worried I might need to keep the x52 stick out for rudder control on landing 😐

Hello, I know little about graphics cards and am looking for some advice please. My current RTX 2080 is coping with small prop aircraft at about 30fps but I have to turn all of the defaults down to get 30 fps on commercial jets at large airports before I even think about adding live weather, live traffic and rain. I seem to remember reading once that you can have TWO graphics cards installed. I have a brand new GTX 1050 TI which I have never taken out of the box. Is it feasible to install this as well to run this alongside my RTX 2080?

Hello, I’m looking for some of the more experienced folks in here to share some thoughts on this and start some discussion. i have been fiddling with some settings within the flight_model.cfg filed for two airplanes as test beds. The tbm and the cj4. before any changes I made, I noticed the tbm especially had a rubber band feel to it in the pitch axis. It was way to bouncy when hand flying. Not only that, the airplane would never level off with the AP engaged in a normal fashion. It would always porpoise it’s way up to altitude in the last few hundred feet. I have 2 rudders in MSFS. The foot pedals are setup and calibrated normally. The other rudder axis is tied to a lever that moves from left to a center detent, or to the right of center and stays put right there exactly to where you move the lever. Just like elevator trim wheel game controllers are usually a second elevator axis (instead of an elevator trim key command). But it's used as an elevator trim. Wheel remains to where you turn it, does not recenter. I think it's the best way to do trims that are quick and easy to set precisely, and work the best. I noticed on some videos that the GPUs are running at near full speed. I have never played a game where it ran further than 50-60% power. 99% seems like a stress test! I usually play at adaptive half refresh 30 FPS so I can enjoy a smooth experience and not tax the GPU hard. I know my machine could run it faster but to the expense of burning out the card?

No way to adjust sensitivity now, just a blank box that says done.

I have been on Flight Sim 2020 for several weeks it's been working great, everything has been smooth no issues at all, Until last night. The joystick I'm using is a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro. Last night after I was messing with an xbox one Controller for the first time just testing it, I lost throttle control and X and Y axis on the Logitech. They were just dead. Very minor cosmetic quibble here--maybe I'm not pointing and clicking in the right place. When I select my plane, weight, etc., I'm zeroing out the co-pilot weight to where I believe I'm indicating that it's just me in the plane. However, when the flight intro sequence starts, I see two in the cockpit. Am I missing a very obvious setting such that if it's just me in the cockpit, I'll only see one person in the plane?

I’m really positive about this new generation sim and MS/Asobo commitment to build something special. Roadmaps were great during last year as we were getting all the candy we wanted. It was great! But to be honest that was marketing and PR roadmap and it was OK. What about now? It seams to me that they are still publishing just the PR roadmap, not the development roadmap. Bing Maps has some severely outdated airports. For example, Zvartnots International Airport in Yerevan, Armenia appears to be in a pre-2011 construction phase judging by the construction on the terminal on Bing Maps. Has Asobo updated these airports?

I just submitted a bug report to Zendesk, but I'm curious if anyone else is seeing this. From the Welcome screen, go to "Profile" then click on "Pilot Profile" and look through the Statistics. Mine are nonsense and wildly differ from the Logbook (which appears to be correct). For instance "number of different airports landed at" is shown as "0". Uh, No. My "Total flight time" is 6825.67 seconds (dear god, why is this listed in seconds?). That works out to 113 minutes or 1.9 hours when my Logbook shows 22 hours. Lots of the other stats also just seem to be made up. Obviously not a major issue, but it's annoying.

Dear pilots, while i am flying around and i want to find out the frequencies of any airport out there...how can i find them out? The VFR Map does not provide such information, i zoom in but i dont find anything, can not click on the airport. Do i need to use the G1000 MFD? What if i fly in a steam gauge aircraft?

Fellow pilots, what is the reason i can not access the weather tab in the tool panel? Its greyed out. - I am in freeflight - I am flying alone (no multiplayer activated) - I start with custom time and weather (not "LIVE") - I am not in a group of players. But the weather tab is simply greyed out. Whats wrong? Any Ideas?

After a couple of days or so with the patch, suddenly my ATC window in the toolbar has disappeared. It is greyed out. Pressing "reset" does not revive it. Instead I now have an additional "Active Pause" which I did not opt for. I've tried every possible option in Assists, User Experience, Data, On and offline AI, and still the ATC window will not appear. I notice a few posts on Reddit about this but no-one seems to know why this is happening. Inconveniently, you cannot re-install this part of the sim unless you download and install all 80 gigabytes of "core" sim files. I encountered something new for the first time recently: I selected the C172 (classic) and started the session cold and dark. All normal up to this point. Then when I fire up the engine, I start to hear an audio 'popping' sound that occurs every 15 or 20 seconds or so. Turn off the engine, popping disappears. Then strangely enough, when I exit and go to the main menu, I'll hear the same pop during the menu music--but I didn't hear the popping sound in the menu music before the flight. Any thoughts what this could be? Anyone encounter anything similar?
