The behaviour of the PT-6 turboprop engine in MSFS isn't accurate (Torque rises with altitude while ITT remains stable, no Beta Range simulation, no propeller effects simulated) and that is a shame because there's a lot to like about the TBM 930 for example, which seems to be pretty popular amongst simmers. Hi guys, been trying to setup my razer tartarus v2, in the sim the controller shows up but nothing is assigned to it, and every time i try to assign a key to it i Get this pop up (You are trying yo assign an action to a device that is not selected) Any help would be greatly appreciated Regards Joshua

Hello everybody, on all turboprop engines as soon as the ALT (or VSpeed) mode is activated, the autopilot no longer allows me to manually control the heading of the aircraft (even the aircraft joystick does not move to the right / left). HDG and NAV modes are disabled, and so is the wing leveler. Solutions? Thank you all

Unfortunately according to a reviewer, running 8K gave 19 fps on the 3090. Sorry I cant remember the source. Shame as it's the only AAA title that's lagging behind the others.

I had a problem that if I added an approach mid-flight, the airplane would do a 180 and go back to the previous waypoint before starting on the approach. I found a video that explain how you can work around this. Thanks to Clumsy for the video.

Hello, Has someone else got this issue? When i set the view to the front (single engine) so that i am looking through the Props animation the sim start to stutter after a few seconds. A minimal movement of the camera is enough to go back to stable FPS until it starts lagging again after some seconds. This i only when looking in the Prop direction. Can be a real PITA sometimes. Am i see only one seeing this? Best

Am I the only one thinking the A320 flight dynamics are strange? Or did I do something wrong on my config? I think the A320 is almost impossible to fly (and to land) because it is much too soft. I mean that a full stick deflection causes a very slow reaction, the aircraft yaws very, very slowly and same for pitch. With light aircraft such as the Cessnas or the TBM, a small stick deflection causes a quick aircraft movement, many people complained about this and adjusted the controls sensitivity because of this. Hi All, The Ai Pilot is hit or miss with landing depending on airport. Some Airports it's a perfect landing an others are terrible (on the grass or even outside the airport) It this something I do wrong or just a bug in the software of the Flightsim ? I see that for their latest Alesund the expiration is October 2nd. I made this question at ORBX forums, however the answer was not exactly satisfactory and the topic was locked. I just had to create a thread to thank every AVSIM member for their advice and most importantly the developer @John Dowson for creating an immensely invaluable tool for MSFS 2020. My controllers sensitivities finally work properly and I even managed to get my badly "needed" GoFlight LGT unit working with MSFS. To say that I'm fully invested in MSFS is an understatement. I'm now obsessed with this new sim (thanks to FSUIPC) and just wanted to share my enthusiasm.

Out of all the resource hogs the glass display is the worst culprit still. In my vid you can clearly see a 10FPS drop just by turning on the avionics to light up the simple glass display. Yes of course in my test the change from 70 FPS to 60 FPS isn't really an issue but if you're going from 30 FPS to 20 FPS the result is certainly much more noticeable, especially if you use any head tracking hardware. We had exactly the same issue with FSX all those years ago and they still haven't worked out a better way of rendering glass displays. Btw this is with the refresh rate set to the lowest value.

Hello everyone, What is the best setting to remove flickering around edges of instrument panels and on some areas of the exterior aircraft ? I recorded a small video but I can't find a way to upload it. Another question, how do I upload an image or a video into the topic ? The only option I see is to "insert image from URL". Hi everyone, So I decided to jump back in today and I have noticed a massive deal of lag and stuttering. when I used to fly Heathrow on the very same settings which is “High End” I used to get micro stutters which was manageable (pre patch release) today I tried the same flight and within a few miles of Heathrow I got a massive amount of long periods of lag and stuttering.vno settings have changed, literally just the latest patch. I'm not really tech savy either just so you know 😛 Any reccomendations or is this a common issue since the latest patch release? GTX1080 I76700k
