Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

Hey guys I am trying to edit the airplane.cfg. I was told onestore. Where is it? I went to users\name\appdata\local\ packages But cannot find the flightsimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe File? I unhid the appdata folder but still nothing? Can someone help me? I dowloaded premium deluxe from steam. Also is onestore a app that came with the flightsim?

The sensitivity adjustment for the flight controls has disappeared with update 1.8.3.0. I have the Logitech Flight Control G940 and I can no longer adjust the sensitivity! It says "Done", but no option instead. Has the same happened to someone else?

Has anyone seen any reviews of FlightBeam’s KPDX for MSFS? I Googled but only saw reviews for older flight sims. And the in-game marketplace only shows “star ratings,” no actual reviews. Thanks!

Hi all I noticed yesterday that flightaware website was down for several hours yesterday. Since yesterday even thou the website is back up i can no longer get live traffic at any airport even thou i have it selected. When i click on LIve Airport Activity I get an empty screen. Anyone else noticing this? Don

Does anyone know if the actual G1000/G3000 have VNAV and ILS features? I would like to use it to set up a IFR flight in the C172 just like in a Boeing 777. Can it do a full flight form start to finish with automatic VNAV climbs and descents and be able to capture localizer and glideslope for ILS landings?

I thought this area has some of the best photoscenery quality (at least best I've seen in the game thus far). It downscaled better than most other states they did. For max visuals, I use a high cloud layer (I customize overcast cloud heights). The Fort Collins airport was also very well done for a generic airport, surprisingly cool looking. Not all generic airports in this game are bad at all. I suggest people to check out Fort Collins to Sprague flight or Fort Collins to Greeley, great shots. It looks like some stuff was hand placed and hand corrected in this area to be honest, but I don't know.

Evening all! I'm trying to iron out a few issues with the new sim and have noticed that when looking at the FPS through the dev options, 'CoherentGTDraw' is taking a fit and causing really bad stutters. I've tried everything i can think of, including turning off everything i can and reducing every single display option i can find to a point where the cockpit it a complete blur. CPU is running at around 31% and GPU mid 40's consistently... but this CoherentGTDraw keeps flashing red and the stutter is terrible. Does anyone have any idea what it is and what i can do to fix it? I turned rolling cache off and got much better performance with streaming scenery. however, I noticed that today my SSD is about 6 GB heavier...does the sim save the scenery it loads if the rolling cache is off? If so, how do I clear that after im done?

I'd like to know if the default can occur at an airport with the aircraft sitting on the runway---as all other sims. tc

Hey giuys hoping someone can help here I am one who likes to set the arrival and departure airport via Globe planner but leave the runway choices for both Dept/Arr up to the ATC ie. Direct. However I have a couple of problems with this. Normally by the time the ATC announces the arrival runway, I quickly re-program the FMC arrival (by going to FPLAN clicking on the arrival Airport then selection Arrival Runway and Transition then inserting into Flight Plan) however almost always it turns the aircraft around and flys me all the way back to previous waypoint before then commencing arrival. How can I work around this ? I've tried erasing the waypoint but it e…

At least on my system, with the payware mr20 carenado.. all my quick views either on the ch yoke hat switch or by commands are reversed or wrong. For instance, control + left arrow looks back etc. Anyone else have this issue? Thanks in advance

Hi guys, I have an idea on how to backup the game via this method described in here BUT I have no idea will it work as I have game pass sub. https://www.makeuseof.com/tag/backup-restore-windows-10-apps There is 100gb worth of data. Apparently steam users download the preload app something then you load that it up - then it downloads the data. The data goes to the windows app default location. So for steam your backup will be the download app which downloads the game lol. I know there are ways to move that location but restore after windows 10 reinstall. Purchased the new Ketchikan Airport Scenery. The Scenery is great but.. has anyone noticed the mesh, autogen, and landclass around the airport. Its terrible, look like FSX without any enhancements.

(1) I've seen lots of videos showing MSFS2020 with some beautiful colors. Is this some kind of Mod ? (2) IS it possible to Increase the LOD ? (3) Is there a way to reduce or eliminate that strong blue haze in ??

Just converted 2 FSX prop planes to MSFS 2020 and on 1 brakes will not release, the other full throttle is just a slow roll. Where and what to change? Took me forever and a day just to get them to show up in 2020.

No one is talking about the traffic.. Is there any chance to improve it, I only see a320 everywhere.. And I’m sure they did that because of copyright with the liveries or something like that.. So Is Flight1 or any other company improving the AI..?

BIG NEWS: saw this from 2 different posters buried in other threads. But you can fix the avionics/autopilot bug by going to options, then graphics then turn generic to on for both settings. Do this and things are back to normal I can ow enjoy my Carenado Mooney with the GPS working the whole flight.

With my week long reinstall complete, decided to continue the flight I was doing before Patch 2 broke my game - the default 747-800 from KIDA to KEWR. As expected, the autopilot is still switched off when you load a flight and the plan is no longer present in the FMC (maybe Patch 3 will attend to that). However once I got everything set back up and hit LNAV, the ship would not settle into a straight line to follow the vector. Constantly banking to one side then the other instead of tracking straight. It got so irritating, in the end I switched to heading hold to protect my temper and sanity - which works fine. Can't recollect experiencing this prior to the 1.8.3…
