Does anyone know were the files are for my custom controls for the aircrafts I use. Bonanza CCL 172 G1000 mainly them. Just want to be able to back them up. Thank you.

I am not one to usually use a sim directly to make a Flt Plan, but with all the noise about A/Ps not functioning as they should, I wanted to get an idea of this issue. Set up a flight from Athens to Heathrow. Used a gate then set up a Dep and Arr airports, with the appropriate sid and star., but surprised no waypoints in between. Left it like that and took off and engaged A/P and set L and V Nav. Takeoff and a it followed the the initial route to the north of Greece, then it turned sharp right and dropped altitude to 10K. It's well into northern Turkey now. Will let it continue and just monitor it! Martin

Today I did a flight on the TBM930 from Attu to Hokkaido Island. The FS2020 flight planner said that the range should be well enough with a full tank of fuel and even past Hokkaido. Yet I had not even made 80% of the flight I was almost out of fuel. I flew at FL310 so I had to mid-air refuel to make it to Hokkaido. Is the consumption higher in the sim than what the flightplanner range circle say or is it bugged ? The trip was about 1300nm in total and I was only able to make about 1000nm in full tank.

Is there any way to assign one key on any controller to always bring you back to the default cockpit view, no matter what external view you are coming from. I have literally spent hours upon hours to find it to no avail. So, does anybody know if there is a ‘magic’ key assignment that can always bring you back to the default cockpit view? Toggle VFR Cockpit mode does not do it, Cockpit/External view mode only works if you are in the regular external view and not in an external fixed camera view, and VFR pilot view reset does not work either. Doing a caravan run between Sioux Falls, SD and Aberdeen I came across this random large office building. Is there a way to delete this or do I just report it to zendesk? Thanks, Dave

Before the latest patch, I would have about 7 'set' views on the External Camera click button. Now...nothing...just a blurry space in all planes as active. Another patch flame-out?

If so how? Or must we await a 3d party Airbus? Cheers.

I hope someone can offer assistance. MSFS 2020 loads fine, I can tailor a flight through the world map, I can fly, no issue so far... However, every time I try and go into the options - general tab to change graphic options, it is an immediate CTD, every, single, time. I have reinstalled the software three times, no change. The only way I can manipulate the settings is by using the GeForce Experience app (which does work) but that only allows me to change the general graphics settings. I just spent the last few hours trying to understand what was causing the sim stutters, and I have gotten my sim to be 100% smooth now. Let me explain the process... FYI, I chose a test flight from KDEN to KLAX. I let the AI control everything and I always took off from the same runway. Step 1: I turned everything down to low/off in FS and turned off data, AI traffic, etc. Basically the minimum settings. I still had stutters. Flying the lovely Carenado M20R Ovation in MSFS just now and although enjoying the extra workload this airplane provides I’m having an issue deploying the speed brakes. In settings they are successfully bonded to an axis on my throttle quadrant as well as a toggle switch for extend/retract. Anyone got theirs working?

I figure as there are so many repaints for the A320N that alot of folks must be flying it. I have always been an airliner guy but mostly flew PMDG in P3D. Since the release of MSFS, I've been enjoying GA flying like never before in a flightsim, but I would like to start familiarising myself with Airbus systems and start flying the A32N. With the FlyByWire Project mods and the latest MSFS patch, is it in a good enough state to start doing that?

I am unable to find a solution to the following, maybe there isn't one, but the issue is When saving a flight and returning to the flight after restarting the sim, the weather defaults back to not live. Is there any work around for this? Raknal

Flying around last night I tried tuning the radio to the tower frequency at the airport I was flying towards. No options show up to communicate to ATC, but when I scroll through the list of "nearest airports" in the ATC menu and select the airport, it will then tune to that same frequency I had already input and give me a list of things I can say. I double checked the frequency and they're both set to the same value. Is this operator error or a bug? Why can I not talk to ATC with manual tuning? Edit to clarify: yes, I swapped the frequency to active. It showed up with the correct name in the ATC menu to confirm I was tuned to it.

So I am having a problem with GA aircrafts that don’t have autopilot when engaging the drone mode! As soon as I engage the drone mode the aircraft starts drifting to the left! Anyone experiencing the same? And solution to it? Thanks

When using the outside following views in flight the world looks distorted like looking through a fisheye lens. Is there a setting to eliminate this so everything looks more realistic? Thanks

I usually program my fmc/MCDU in the cockpit. My stars are usually always very strange and different from the published ones. Ie, in ENGM program the RIPA4M arrival to 19R with ILS to 19R, and halfway through the star the programmed flightplan simply goes to the FAF and skips like 50% of the star. Today, I tried to program the flight in the world menu, and I DIDN'T program an ILS. Instead I left it in automatic, and selected RIPA4M for 19R. In the cockpit, the approach is unselected, and no ils frequency for the arrival field is in the mcdu. Look and behold - the STAR is now complete..!! It is just as published! If I chose the ILS for 19R it goes back to shortening …

Well, some days feel like we've been married for more than a month... not much of a honeymoon. Of course we cannot have it all our way. While I do appreciate MS/Asobo's efforts, we are left with a kind-of "simple" aftertaste. Is there a way to set the tail number and call sign to be the same for every plane? I'd rather avoid going to ATC Options and setting it each time. I have a specific number and call sign I like to use, as it helps me stay aware when ATC speaking to me.

I brought this up before, but was asked to hold off since the patch notes included G1000 fixes. So the patch has arrived and the problem(s) persist. Specifically, the RNAV glidepath right now does not extend vertically beyond the designated intercept point... which is incorrect and makes it impossible to intercept the glidepath "from below" as all pilots are taught.. The only way to fly an RNAV LPV approach in this sim, is to fly at the exact height of the Intercept Point, and be rewarded by a GS indicator which is visible and centered the entire flight.
