Another issue I've run into with the basic AP in the C172SP is the altitude disagreements that occur whenever BP was other than 29.92. I would dial in the new altimeter setting (also on the KAP 140) and as I leveled off at the assigned altitude I would get yelled at by ATC for being 300-500 ft. off. After a number of frustrating attempts to resolve the issue, I slapped the B key (Set Altimeter) just to see what would happen. Indeed, the altimeter reset to the controller's announced BP. Hi all! I was wondering if anyone had nailed the right settings for both the side stick and more importantly the throttle quadrant. Can’t seem to get the detenta to match up exactly and struggling to figure out hot to set up the engine switches. Any help or screenshot would be super helpful thanks so much!

The current discussion around foilbles post-patches, the sense MS/Asobo isn't paying attention or acting on what is being suggested, the sense overall quality is deteriorating post initial release, are arguably valid concerns. I'm curious though, would YOU have preferred to wait until 1, various issues such as AP/Garmin/ATC/Flight Characteristics/SDK were more fully mature and capable? Or 2, do you prefer to be able to sample MSFS of Aug 18th, and standby to see how it evolves to that same endpoint in option 1 above? Personally, I will vote option 2. Tried live weather here at CYYZ, Yoronto,canada Got the Atis Looked up the real Metar (weather) and it was not really dead on. Somebody had said that European servers are working great for Live weather retrieval. How do I change to point to those servers

Welp ... after the update, attempted to fly the NY-DC content. Approaching New York, the sim got very laggy, eventually crashed to desktop between the Empire State Building and the Statue of Liberty. This on a brand-new, very high-end computer with very high-end graphics card. Reminds me of the original release of FSX, which was also unflyable. Full disclosure: I worked for Aces on FSX-Acceleration. Guess its back to waiting for the next update.

Hi, I have been using RTX3070 for some time but for the last couple of days I wasn't able to make NCP Vsync work as expected on MSFS. I tried all avaliable settings as adaptive/halfrefreshrate/on and fast but no success..In game Vsync works but not the NCP one. I would like to compare whether game or ncp vsync is more smooth. Am I missing some other setting or is there a problem related driver or RTX3070 spesific ? Does anybody experience similar issue or any known solutions ? Kind regards.

Anyone else have severe frame drops during taxi on some airports? Example EDDF (Frankfurt) when taxing from runway 25 (L or R) to the gate halfway the framerates are dropping dramatically Starting from 35 to 10 sometimes. However when saving the flight on that moment of 10 fps and reloading this flight at the exact same position it's back to 35 fps again. Any thougts about this ? It's not my computer otherwise the same flight reloaded on that position would also be 10 fps instead of 35..

I am just learning how to do ILS landings and have been doing them with the TBM. I have managed a few now but I am not clear on WHEN I should be doing things, so I have some questions. 1. When should I Load/Activate the Approach in the Procedures screen? 2. When should I Click the App button on the AP Control Panel? 3. When should you start slowing from Cruise speed? And speaking of the TBM, I have the CH Throttle Quadrant. IRL the aircraft has a Single Throttle Control. I know that I have to have my Mixture lever at 100% or the engine dies. Also, I do notice a change in engine pitch if I move the Prop lever to 100%, even though IRL there is no …

I flew a familiar flight out of KHAF today and noticed that the cliffs are indeed much more rugged and realistic than before, the whole flight over KSFO and downtown San Fransisco was very nice indeed... Little wrinkle... with Photogrammetry enabled, Candlestick park is there.. with it disabled, it has been demolished, as indeed it has been since 2015.. Big world.. much to see 🙂

Hi Guys, I currently have MSFS 2020 through a Game Pass subscription but now want to purchase the Deluxe version as you get a discount. I am wondering if I have to completely uninstall my current version then re install the purchased version from the Microsoft store? Wondering if anyone has switched to the purchased version from the Game Pass version and how they did it?

A32NX ATC all blank I add another call sign like VIRGIN67. An it announces VIRGIN67 but it keeps adding from other call signs I have used. So its like VIRGIN671123N24X15761264. I have backspaced everything deleting when adding a Call sign but it keeps adding. Some of these call signs were from like 2 months ago and there have been many many updates.

I flew the FBW A320 for the first time in a while last night and the flight was generally great. One issue I ran into was on approach. I use a Vapp of 137 (this was the figure on the PERF page) and winds were calm. Fully configured for landing the aircraft had a higher than expected nose up altitude, I’d say around 7-8 degrees. It became clear that the aircraft was sinking and would likely fall short of the runway so I took over, added speed and made the landing. I know there are still underlying flight dynamic issues that the FBW team haven’t dived I to yet so perhaps this falls into that area? Hi all Not sure if this has come up before - and if it has, I have missed it. I have found that when flying with a friend in a Group Flight and you select a time of day for the flight which is not the current 'Live' time, that the host player's UTC time will advance normally while the guest player(s) time advances by only 10 seconds and then resets to the originally selected time, repeatedly. Particularly annoying if doing a dusk or dawn flight for the guest player as you never get to see the sunrise or sunset. It's basically a static sun. Anyone else notice this? Cheers erich

Not sure if I'm turning on the main too soon (reading checklist for the first time while trying this out) but as soon as I hit the starter for the left engine electrical power dies and I'm dead in the water. Anyone know why this is happening? Did I wait too long to start with just the lights powered or is there something else I am missing. The included docs have only the real a/c/ checklist and I don't see anything specific to MSFS in them (yet).

I was climbing to 31,000 feet, with the climb rate set to 1,500 fpm. Suddenly I got a red CAS message about cabin pressure and pressure differential. Where are the buttons to make the appropriate adjustments. Never got this warning before.

Does anyone else feel that since the latest release the performance and visual graphics have gotten worse? In the FBW A320, I have 25-30 fps, but looking out the window it stutters the whole time, there seem to be way more of those triangular elevation abnormalities, the roads and highways seem blurry and jagged and the textures don't seem nearly as crisp. This doesn't intend to be a complaint thread but just wanted to see if anyone else feels the same or if it is just me. And if it is just me, what should I keep an eye one to fix? Most settings are on high.

Ok so I have finally managed to take off and land at my chosen destination in the A320 NEO. Problem, on short final I turn the auto pilot off and land on the runway and then the control from my joy stick is all over the place, impossible to control the aircraft after touch down on the runway, I go onto the grass back onto the runway eventually ending up in the trees. Now when I take off the joy stick is fine no problem, straight down the runway and off I go so what happens when I land ? why is it not possible to control the aircraft ?. I'm happy to share my first version of using google maps assets to build up the default Yosemite Valley. It is probably my favorite place on earth and I was a bit underwhelmed when I saw what was there with the default terrain map and textures. When I saw the first example of what people had done with google map 3D data and Blender I went into the maps app and saw that the photogrammetry areas extended into landscape features as well as buildings and cities.
