Hi anyone else noticed the coast line around the south of England is all messed up. The beaches are being stretched up the side of the cliffs. Big immersion killer. I suppose this will be fixed in the Uk world update. Just wondering if it was just me or a known issue? thanks

Do you need to turn auto pilot off before final touch down ? I have tried to land with auto pilot on but it is a heavy landing and I have bounced, also do I need to flair or not ? Thanks fellas.

Hi, Have you noticed any change sin last update over 1.11.6.0 update? My setting for F4 key was Full Throttle. Now it's changed by "enrich mixture" or something like that. Why? 😕

My biggest goal after the previous release of my G1000 mod, which was focused mostly on giving it software brightness control, was to release an update that did that without breaking the hardware knobs on planes that do have them, such as the C172. I've done that and integrated some other feedback from the community into a follow-up release. It's been in the hands of a few testers for a little while and it's time to set it free. "droning" around, getting familiar with the looks and operation of MSFS. For lack of the technical term, when I see buildings that look like a melted candle (even if I stand still at that location for awhile), is that because: 1. Settings are not high enough? (Currently I have everything at Ultra to see results but see no improvement) 2. Area photogrammetry is not of highest quality for that area (testing in San Diego, CA, USA) 3. Hey, I am having some issue since last update, Before that everything was fine, my settings are on High/ultra and I could have a solid 30fps almost everywhere Now after update I can barely reach 15fps on landing at LKPR with clear sky (where I could easily reach 40fps with clouds) I am not a FPS hunter but at this point the sim is not fluid at all which make it very difficult to fly I don't have a lot of add-on, only Workingtitle G1000 and 3000, FBW a32x, the DA62 mods and the "improved physics mod" and also few liveries, all of those mods are not activated at the same time as I use MFS add-on manager Nvidia driver and all other are up …

I cannot get the default Cessna 172 to start and when I turn on the Battery the radios are dead. Can someone give me a runthrough how to get it started and how to switch the radios on please? I thought that I would go to the flight training section and go through the first lessons in case I was doing something incorrectly. However, I get a message saying that I am missing some bits and to go to the Download Content Manager. When I go there I see a list of stuff but no real info as to what to do next. Who else has tried the landing challenge in Indonesia? It's great. Very hard little strip to land on, and with little buildings dotting the area, no more smooth field in the middle of nowhere like before.

Ever since I installed the December 3, 2020's mini-update ground steering became impossible. The plane is swaying left and right on the slightest joystick rudder movement. This happens on FBW's latest dev mod A320 as well as their stable version. Also plain vanilla MSFS A320Neo has been affected by this. I (re-)calibrated my joystick in FSUIPC 7.0.2 without success, also lowering the sensitivity in MSFS didn't result in a better behavior on the ground nor did adjusting dead zones bring me any luck. It looks like it might not be possible but wanted to see if any of the gurus could tell me otherwise. I am running a 3 + 1 monitor setup with the FS2020 running spanning 3 x 32" monitors using Nvidia surround. I have an additional monitor embedded in a DIY dashboard which I want to display instruments/G1000. In FSX I could create a new window looking at the panel and drag that to my extra dash monitor. This would give a virtual set of instruments so I am not looking at the half cut off instruments on the main screen. Can anyone tell me if it is possible to do this with FS2020? FSX running:

Hello Brothers and Sisters; I have a question on the A320nx MCDU. I am putting the Flt Plan in myself rather than downloading it and it will not accept the Rwy and the SID. I go to the MCDU option: F-Pln Airport, then Departure, and it will not take the Runway or the Sid. Any suggestions? (I am following 320 Sim Pilot's Aug 22nd video tutorial at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c7UJlJMJdfk&t=500s)

Has anyone been able to find a fix? Does anyone know how to disable the default so that the mod can show up properly? I believe a big deal was made about this airport missing and for the life of me I can't believe this important destination is in shambles. I'm not angry. I'm just looking for a fix.

Just loaded the DEC 3rd update. The camera assignments I spent a couple of hours customizing to my keyboard and joystick have all been wiped! This discovered on a couple short VFR test hops. Might be worth a laugh if it wasn't going to take me a couple more hours to re-do it all. I guess Good News/Bad News is the new normal for MSFS 2020. I wonder what else is to be discovered. It does get tiresome 😞

So I inadvertently deleted the MSFS icon from my Desktop and would like to put one back on, but can't make any sense out of the file tree of MSFS. Where can I find the MSFS.exe file so I can send a copy to a short cut on my desktop to start the sim? Thanks

Tried to do some landing challenges. On some of them I get a message “One or more required items is missing” I am told to go to Content Manager to download. However everything in Content Manager is up to date. Anyone else having this issue? It does this for a few but not all landing challenges. Others can be flown with no issues.

I know CTD is highly subjective but since the update I've had 3 CTD in 2 days and prior to the update I had a very stable sim. First time using the TBM on short final into KATL (last night). 2 CTD over the Hudson in the Caravan flying the new US discovery flight right near Manhattan Island. Anyone else?

I may have stumbled upon why sometimes updates go way beyond what they are supposed to be in size. You know the one about the blind dog finds the occasional crumb? I installed MSFS to a separate SSD, and it installed to "D:\WpSystem\S-1-5-21-3014578816-1029039811-2166754126-1001\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe". Update 5 (I think) I had the 23.6gb update which was way over what it should have been. I noticed this last update was pointing to a C:/Users directory so I took a look and sure enough it looks like there was some files there in a directory structure like the one on my D drive. Most of the directories have very little in them EXCEPT …
