I don't recall seeing this lower resolution dialogue text before this latest patch. Then the power of suggestion made I'm me wonder if the rest of the sim got a wee bit fuzzier! I know this doesn't matter, this dialogue, but again I just didn't notice it before so let me know what you're seeing if you don't mind. Plus, other areas of the Welcome screen, flight planning sections all are totally normal and sharp looking. It does seem like the sim scenery got slightly less sharp, but not sure. I have followed all the advice to portover a prop plane from FSX, but cannot get the props to turn! I have used MSFS Legacy Importer, built both the layout and manifest json. In MSFS I have set to Legacy - FSX and Developer mod is on. What's, Missing? Martin

I am using an old Logitech Attack 3 stick whilst I am getting to grips with how to set up MSFS to my satisfaction before digging out my old Saitek rudder and pedals, but no tuning of the sensitivities in the sim seem to calm it down. On previous FS versions I had to use the old stick sensitivity mode 0 line in the cfg file, but there is no controls section in the new sim cfg. Is there a way to do something similar in MSFS? Also finding setting things up a nightmare as the menus and settings are quite hard to get to grips with. Would have been nice if MS could have provided an FSX style skin for the new sim. I tried this tour straight after updating the sim last night. It is supposed to highlight some of the latest updates Asobo has put into the USA scenery. I flew the Caravan on AP, tracking the flight plan route. It has you flying south down the Hudson River, past Manhattan to Washington. One thing that stood out was the bridges along the Hudson - almost all of them look really, really bad - as in like [word not allowed] bad. It's like they have a wall under them. One of the first ones you fly over on this tour had what seemed to be artifacts scattered around in the water, with cars racing around in the water too. Hi guys, I've been following this forum since August but this is my first post as I've been waiting on my new system which was delivered yest, which I bought for msfs2020 😁 Having updated windows etc,so all up to date, I purchased msfs this morning from steam, I download the base package 490mb I think, and double clicked logo to start/install game, unfortunately the Xbox screen loads up then followed by asbo screen, followed by 2 others, but then I end up back at desktop, I've turned off defender etc but still same old, would appreciate any help of you guys.

Working on building the AirManager Panel for the Coronado PA-44. Taking a break from the FBW320, that is working OK but not great after the last update. This is really a great plane and this is one of the best in FS2020 IMHO. I have never flown the Seminole for real, but I have taken lessons the Aztec for MEL rating and the flown Baron quite a bit, so this seems pretty much right on for a light twin. The handling is very realistic, the trim works great, no too sensitive like some others in FS2020. I really like the ground handling. It looks fantastic inside and out and seems very stable for me in 1.11.6.0. I have the AM339, M20 and the 182T as well…

The good news is that Southern Vancouver Island got new elevation data, the bad news is, that this is not what it looks like in real life.. was better before..

Perhaps filing a bug report at Zendesk about this malfunctioning autopilot will have a better effect on Asobo then us discussing/complaining about their lastest A/P "update" all the time here. A bug report cannot be disregarded by them, our conversations here on Avsim can or will be.

Hi all. I just installed the Orbx lowi scenery from the marketplace. I now have part of the old tower jutting out of the new one. There is also a large ramp on the runway which shoots you in the air when taking off. Unless this a new takeoff assistance 😀. I’ve just uninstalled the scenery and was about to reinstall. Is there something I’m missing on the installation or is this just a bug?

Hi Since the last update 7 apart from the A/P issues that seem to affect everyone, after completing a flight and hitting Esc then main menu it takes me straight back to desktop. Is anyone else seeing this or is it to do with my settings. Thanks in advance. Peter Porter

In coastal desert or tropical areas, coastal Southern California, Pacific Islands there's fluffy deciduous trees where there should be palm trees. Palm trees exist, I've seen a few here and there, just rarely. In mountainous areas or far northern areas most trees are conifers, but I don't think I've EVER flown over a predominately conifer forest or at least one that looked like one in MSFS, fluffy round deciduous trees everywhere. Anyone modded the "biomes" file? Sure would like to see TerraFlora for MSFS, the trees just aren't accurately placed or diverse enough by default.

It’s from the same people that did the Aermacchi MB-339. It’s looking great! Sadly, as we know, there’s no carrier support for MSFS. Nor are there any news of it coming I think, which somewhat limits the fun of this aircraft.

Since the last update I have lost the bindings of the 4 arrow keys on the bottom right of my keyboard They worked well in the cockpit for up,down and side to side view I cannot work out the right instructions are to reinstate these very useful cockpit views Anybody else had this problem and resolved it? xxd09

Asobo had mentioned in a previous Twitch that they had improved threading and were seeing 6-10 FPS improvements, which would be really helpful. Unfortunately that enhancement did not make it into update 6. Here is what Jayne said... Hi all! As of today things are looking good for them to be in Update #7, though don’t hold me to that. So far, so good…

I offer Asobo/MS to give them back the new 4 USA airports, the 50's POIs, and the new elevation data for the US, in exchange for having the sim to be the way it was before Update 7. It's clear (it seems not only for me) that there's a sim's performance degradation with the presence of very short pauses and micro stuttering and that the aircraft modifications that were introduced by this update affected their AP's functionality. Yes there are issues and rookie mistakes being made with the sim and updates but by and large they have made a great product, they are listening and the penny will eventually drop,I just wish some people would stop with all the slagging and show these guys the respect they deserve,

I am confused about how the 'tours' work. I have been trying to use the new USA tour and it doesn't seem I have proper control of the aircraft. Is the tour supposed to run itself or should I have complete control of the plane? My second question is a stupid newbie question. I have absolutely no experience with flight simulators or flying at all. It seems the only way I can see anything outside is to use the outside view. When I am in cockpit view I can't get any view out the front window to see anything. Am I doing something wrong or is that just the way flying actually is? I feel like I need to be sitting up higher in the aircraft which it doesn't seem I can …

After the update on Tuesday I can’t load a flight plan from simbrief. Normally I’d load the pln at the world map and when you load up, the flight plan is loaded into the fmc. Now, I can still load it but it’s not in the fmc. A default route is in the fmc. If i create the same flight plan in the world map that i would have loaded and select the sids stars and approaches then it DOES load into the fmc. But not if I load a .pln so weird

Two questions...#1. ATC gives you several selections 1) 2) 3)...and so forth. Im using my mouse to click...can you click like #1 #2 etc on your keyboard instead of using the mouse? #2 When I do use my mouse to click a ATC request/Response sometimes I have to click it like 3 or four times for it to activate. It flickers a lot and not solid even when no one else is talking. Maybe sensitivity needs to be increased somewhere?
