Hey Guys, Not sure how many of you sub to CItationMax's TY channel, but he's a long time simmer fanatic who happens to be fortunate enough to fly the Citation in real life and vlogs his flights. Thoroughly entertaining, he's a great guy and pilot, and shares his aviation experiences freely to the public. Check out his latest vid and at 11:50 he gives a shout out to our beloved WT group for their efforts in improving the Citation and our sim experience in general. 28 is missing its runway edge lights anything I can do to add them myself? I have the Premimum version of MSFS and its a handcrafted airport that I'd like to use very often, thanks

Is it just my impression, or does snow look worse since the last update? More procedural, algorithmic rather than natural and patchy like before. I do not like the way mountain peaks and trees look with the new snow, too even and smooth, lacking natural variation. I also do not see traces of snow on runways at low snow depths, like before. Anyone else experiencing the same? Could this be because of the realtime life weather snow coverage algorithm now implemented? Thanks!

He flies the Cessna 208, mostly in Papua New Guinea, and talk about a full immersion in short-field bush flying! Plus, it has inspired me to explore that part of the planet myself. Hi there, Im just trying to work out if this is a local issue on my end or if it’s a bug. As the title suggests I keep getting the mouse look activating when I’m trying to control a switch in cockpit view. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? I’ve only noticed it start to happen from this week. I have the CJ4 and A320 mods in my community folder but that’s about it! many thanks! Anthony

Hi folks, sorry if this has been asked before but can't find answers at the moment. Here's the problem. Windows 10 crashed the other day. Fortunately I was able to reinstall using a USB stick. This left me with a windows.old folder which meant I got 95% of my stuff back on - phew. However, I seem to have lost part of msfs cuz it won't now start. The packages were on a separate ssd so they're still there. I've been running msfs via Gamepass but I've now purchased the standard version through Microsoft Store. Can I simply install the bought version effectively over the top of the existing one, and will this "repair" it, or should I uninstall the Gamepass version an…

Sometimes (I think it's primarily - if not always) at add-on airports, the only response I can make to instructions when taxiing after landing is "Say Again". In other words, I can't acknowledge the instructions given to me. ATC will keep asking me if I heard the last transmission until it cancels the ATC services. I haven't seen anyone else complain about this particular glitch. Could it be down to some poorly written code in the ATC related to those airports? Is it an easy fix somewhere in the config (if it's in the Community folder) for instance?

Hey, I'm trying to practice VFR navigation using charts and the magnetic compass, but does anyone know what year the magnetic world is based on? Normally you will map out the flight on a chart, measure the headings in true north and convert to magnetic north using the year the chart is published and the annual magnetic variation. I'd assume the FS2020 world is as of 2020 but if its been in development for some years it could be a few years old. Has anyone figured this out or seen it written anywhere?

Just loaded MSFS 2020 on getting to the cockpit screen I've noticed I don't have the usual selection bar at the top of my screen (where you can select AI,Pause Viwes etc.) not sure why it has disappeared but can any please explain how to get it back on, I've tried looking, General, Assist and Controls but can't see anything.

Are you able to see the traffic due the night? I cant see them, maybe because the lights of them are off i think. If you could see them, please tell me how to solve it.

Is there anyone who wouldn't mind Sharing their sensivity settings with me please? For the a320 neo, just so I have a starting point to work from? Thanks in advance

So it's my impression that once the aircraft is off the ground, the rudder becomes coordinated with the roll inputs (ailerons). I know this was an option that you could have on or off in FSX (in case you had just a joystick, for instance). Is there a way to turn it off in this in for those of us with rudder pedals?

Does anyone know how to access the files where nav fixes (and more specifically, the instrument approaches) are located? It would be great to be able to create some custom, RNAV approaches that one could access in the FMS, as opposed to building them fix by fix every time.

Hey guys, simple question...How much more can MSFS 2020 be optimized? I know it will be a long road but I am curious. I would love for MSFS 2020 to utilize today's hardware better, especially my new ROG 3080 🙂 Let me know your thoughts!

Mfs2020 is incredible but I am really craving the persistent, deep and immersive A2A experience I remember from p3d. All I want is a 172/182 or Comanche and everything would be perfect. I didn’t appreciate how much of my enjoyment of P3d came from the realism of the A2A aircraft and maintenance hanger etc. very much hoping they will release something in 2021

Hey guys! I decided to installed the G3000 mod, which is AMAZING, however, it it causing a drop of 10fps and causing a lot stutters. Anyone else experience this and is there a fix? Thanks!

I did not download this update because a) I was low on disk space and b) I rarely if ever have flown in Japan. As I now have a new 1TB m.2 drive, I was wondering whether to install it. Did the update affect anything other than Japan and secondly, even if I do have space for it, is it really worth installing it, other than to have a fully updated sim? Has anyone got any thoughts or views?

ASOBO never disappoints when it comes to entertaining us with never-seen-before simulation highlights. And how should it be different with the latest update? I took a flight from LOWS - my first post-patch - and noticed immediately some volcanic activities to the north: three huge carbuncles that weren't there before. And sure enough at my destination in LIRQ i found more anomalies in the approach path. If you don't enjoy these "presents" as much as I do, you may consider voting here to make sure they get aware of your mental constitution 🤣 Oh, and a P.S.: If you don't see anything unusual - fine for you and not worth a single post.

Today I could not start my flight simulator. I am getting the following notice: "Insert Disc for Microsoft Flight Simulator" then it gives me two options: CONTINUE/QUIT. I never ordered discs for my flight flight simulator. Is anybody else experiencing this?
