Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

Before I comment, thanks for these mods, they add a tremendous amount of immersive realism to this sim. I am currently flying in the C208 and have the latest "Working Title G1000" installed and the PFD has suddenly frozen on the Pilot and co-Pilot sides at around 10,000 ft (climbing to FL130). If I go to Outside view my altitude, speed, all indicators are normal. There is just no life to the PFD after installing version 0.3.4. Anyone else see this? Regards

Many times when starting at a gate, especially with A320, my aircraft is not lined up in the gate straight. Is there some type of config i'm missing?

Why does the mountain look so blurry and pixelated...I feel like I'm flying in FSX all over again. Is anyone else seeing this? My settings are high to ultra.

and it's even starting to ice up inside... Please @Asobo- understand that in an aerodynamically accurate simulation, it's ALL about nuance. The many grossly overdone effects are exemplified by the current icing model. We appreciate all the additions to the Sim, but a thoughtfully measured application is what is needed. Ice accumulation is but one of the MANY effects that are enormously exaggerated in the sim. Please read the feedback you are being provided from experienced modelers, who are frustrated with the current tool set. As you develop further, please remind the team that more is sometimes just more. Keep on keeping on! Ta- C

Is there a way to check if the FBW version I am flying has the custom FBW implemented?

Is there a way to save a drone flight so when I open it is resumes the viewpoint/location of where the drone is and not the aircraft?

I used to have it where the joystick 2 button on my T1600 would default back to the Captain view on my A320. I wanted to switch it around and get a little different view / perspective and save it again. However, in the meantime, I lost it and now button 2 doesn't reset my captain view. Is there a way to set all of my views on my T1600 or at least get it back so i can bind button 2 back to reset my position? Right now I use the hat switch to pan around but nothing else is mapped

Reading the A2A forum, in the post where Scott (A2A founder) let everyone know they had an accident in the Aerostar. Someone asked him if this will delay the release of the Aerostar for MSFS 2020... and he said "Yes but only in that we are putting a different airplane on the front burner to be released next.". Tantalizing... I want anything A2A... So Avsim, what do we think or hope will be first? Makes me think a previous model.

Hello, I hope all of you can enjoy the new simulator, I preordered the Premium Deluxe edition on MS Store. So I can't say something really bad about the new sim but why I'm a little bit worried is because of the planes itself, especially the airliners. For me too many knobs aren't working so I found out about the A32NX project and downloaded version 0.1.1 on GitHub and I don't know why but I can't get mods working in my sim, they don't even show up in the menu (correctly). Pilots, anybody aware of an AP issue with FBW's custom fbw mod which I downloaded today, Jan 14? I know it's not stable but so far I used it without issues. Now I flew LOWW to LIRQ, used Direct VOR (since ATC is too messy) and once I selected the appr and STAR for ILS Rwy05Z it was shown on the MFD but the neo just did not want to follow the new flightplan, it just continued to fly straight ahead as if I did not change the flight plan. On top, a minute later the neo went into a steep right turn... which I was not able to recover from ...

As per the topic, if you use AH2 in MFS, you can import and fly your encrypted - i.e. Carenado - aeroplanes etc...

Great Forum Guys. ONe quick question. I have downloaded my favorite liveries for my aircraft. Is there a way to keep them as default. Everytime I start the game or change airplanes, it comes back at the default Microsoft livery. A bit anoying Funny that the 787 now stay with my Air Canada Livery but not the others

I can see vehicle traffic when I am on the ground on roads close to the airport. However, when I takeoff there is no vehicle traffic visible. Is that normal for MSFS2020 at this point? My vehicle traffic setting is at 100%.

As a disclaimer, I'm a little late to the MSFS party. I've had it since day one, but it's largely sat on the back burner. I've been picking it up more recently, almost solely with the A32NX. As a result, I'm aware the control interface has not been loved, but am not up-to-speed managing it currently. So with that said, it seems like controller setup has regressed several generations. No matter if I'm in the Turbo bonanza or CJ4, during a strong crosswind takeoff I find the aircraft veers off into the wind no matter how much opposite rudder and aileron correction I use during the takeoff roll. Would love a challenging crosswind takeoff but something seems way off in this regard in the flight models.

In Czech repucblic (and i guess most of western/central Europe its been snowing for like 4 days now. ground is covered under many cm of snow. In the sim nothing at all. Just me ?
