Hi everyone, Having installed the latest updates (27JUL18) for both the NGX and B777-200 this morning on P3D v4.3 and now having problems interacting with my GoFlight MCP-PRO since those updates, what would be the best way to revert to the previous build (NGX v1.20.8465 and B777 v1.10.8448) ? - Install on top of the current build v1.20.8869 and 1.10.8871 respectively, or - Uninstall the aircrafts completely and re-install fresh The reason I ask is that since the 27JUL18 updates, my GF MCP-PRO is no longer working with my PMDG aircrafts (all I get are dashes, even though GIT status has a green light), while it was working OK before the PMDG updates. Hi, I've asked a couple of people (incl. real world pilots) and either they haven't noticed, or don't know. What is the little white star (to the left of DAN intersection) on the NAV display? Captains, A couple of quick, important items for you on this Friday evening. Updates pushed for 737 and 777 base packages: A few hours ago, we pushed updates via the PMDG Operations Center for the PMDG 737NGX and PMDG 777-200LRF base packages. These updates were pushed for FSX, FSX-SE, P3Dv3 and P3Dv4 versions. These updates are important in that we have been able to find a few rare instances in the 737 and 777 that might cause the airplane to stop responding to user input, and we also eliminated a few CTD issues that appeared in both products. Hi, I am using Windows 10. I decided to make a clean Preap3Dv4.3 installtion on my PC. After the installation of P3Dv4.3 I installed the NGX, 747QOTS and 777. But, I am not able to get the latest versions of these 3 PMDG airliners? Anyone have an idea hy I am not able to get the latest versions? See video

I’m having an issue redownloading my product. I go into the login portion of precisionmanuals.com and I login with my email and password. It ask me for the password to be reset and I enter the CAPTCHA code only to never receive an email with my link to reset it even when it says I will receive it. Anyone else running into this problem?

Hi there everyone, One of my best friends is having some issue about landing altitude in PFD. Issue may be seen from screenshots below. Firsty he was not using ORBX Vector. After the problem he started using ORBX Vector. It did not fix. And he press ''B '' button everytime to be ensure that QNH is set. Problem seen in every airports. Also he tried to set up PMDG products again. This problem seen only in PMDG products. Regards, Umut Yuksel

Hello, guys! I have an issue with all my PMDG tail numbers. Every aircraft i select to fly, the tail numbers are mixed beween them. For example, if i select B747 from Lufthansa (D-ABVM), it shows my KLM registration and flight number, Also the callsign is from KLM instead of Lufthansa. This behavior is in all PMDG products installed (B738, B737, B777, B747 v3). Do you guys know how to fix this? Thanks in advance, Renato Roberto São Paulo / Brazil

Hello! I would like to know which Active Sky 2016 settings/ values are the best for my PMDG T7. I think that the default turbulence values are way too high for example. I´m looking for the most realistic settings.

Hi there everyone, I'm new to the AVSIM Forums and this is my first post, but I was wondering if PMDG's printed manuals for the 737NGX and 777 add-ons for FSX are still available to buy. If so, could you please provide a link? I live in the UK so would prefer if you could post a website that has the option of pricing in British Pounds (£) but if this isn't possible then I can use a currency converter. If you total up all the pages of the 737 and 777 manuals it comes to a total of 7,512 pages, hence I would like the printed versions because reading them on my computer is long and printing them myself is, well, not really an option for that many pages. I just purchased a GTX 1060 6GB as an upgrade from my GTX 960 2GB. I wanted to verify that I need to deactivate the licenses for each of my PMDG products prior to changing out the cards? Is this required for just a video card upgrade? I gotten away with it in the past without doing this process (video card swap only), so wanted to double check. Thanks!

Good evening Gents, Some pictures taken last night showing the 747-8i in fictitious Air New Zealand colours. All credit for this livery goes to Pete Sterling, who does amazing work I think we can all agree. Flight was over ORBX NZSI on a test flight where I had enough time to step outside! Remember this is a BETA at present, so any errors or oddities are still being worked on. That said, I think PMDG has definitely done a fine job on this model! Hi, Now that the 747 v3 is around the corner, please tell me what are your opinions on the two platforms, FSX SE vs P3D. I haven't even tried P3D yet but I know I should make the move sooner or later. Is it now the best time to carry my simming stuff over? Since it's going to be a rather significant expense to buy P3D and also the 747 (+ some other addons perhaps), I would like to know if it's still worth it. Hello ladies and gents (copy and paste of my previous post) [PMDG 747-8 i/F is a Work In Progress] The 748i is an absolute dream to fly manually! I would have a field day doing Cessna type VFR roam flying in it under manual control. In the short time I tested it today, I hand flew it as much as I practically could. I had no problems flying with autothrottle and autopilot disengaged on the Approach in VMC and low workload conditions. I needed to do a few base circuits to get used to it as she is her own character because as Carl says, this bird is a mix of old and new. It is strangely familiar, but also so acutely different. I have set both nav radios to the old frequency and course both autopilot places but vor locks but G/S dose not catch I have set every thing up for landing flaps speed break arm auto breaks I do have check target alt message and some times buffet message any help would be good

My livery download doesnt work for any of my versions on FSX SE or p3d v4. I can download a livery from avsim and install it but not the ones available on the livery downloader. OC is excluded on antivirus.

For all those waiting, and especially for those of us who enjoy flying toasters to the far points of the globe... Hi all, Just a quick question for those who know about thunderstorms: Is this is a realistic amount of thunderstorms for a METAR that had VCTS (thunderstorms in the vicinity). Basically I get the impression that ActiveSky puts too many thunderstorms in a given area - it was almost impossible to get into DFW (I realise DFW can get pretty thundery). I have noticed the same when cruising - it seems to put a wall of them around the place. In the attached photo, the right ND is showing what I mean. Before I get in touch with them, I thought I'd better check it's not just me assuming that there aren't that many thunderstorms in an area really. Any advice …
