Hey guys, Just got back to using my sim after a long hiatus, and i apparently didn't buy my 777-200 on the same account as my 777-300 or 737 products. Now I'm stuck because I can't update, and the planes are behaving strangely, and I can't for the life of me dig up my old account information or remember passwords :( I have a semi-funcitonal 777, but with a wicked spoiler glitch that I can't work out. And I can't remember my password for the support forum either, so I feel a pit pooched. Any suggestions? Luc Arsenault

Good Morning, So as you may guess from the title I have grown tired of FSX. Upon weighing up the options, I plan to switch to P3D V4 soon. I have been a proud owner of the 737NGX for many years, and have accrued a good 100+ hours on it (not the most I know, but it counts!). It's always worked flawlessly and been an impressive piece of software. The only issue for me for purchasing the aircraft again in P3D is the great paywall. Hello, I'm registered Customer of PMDG. I installed now the 747 V3 behind the 737 NGX ( download before) . In OPCenter the 737 NGX is okay with all functions. In the OpCenter for the 747 the downloadmanger + the Liverymanager doesn't exist. Thanks a lot+ sorry for my bad english ! Jorgo

Hi captains, Apology in advance if this topic has been discussed before but I'm running into some bizarre problem with the operations center. In the beginning, the operations center worked perfectly but all of a sudden it just couldn't find the PMDG 777, NGX and 747V3 for P3D v4 installed on my machine. So I tried reinstalling each of them in order to reinstall the operations center. And it worked. The ops center was just back to normal. Then after an arbitrary period of time, came the same problem before the reinstall that the ops center stopped recognizing installed products again. Hello everyone! Had a quick question and was curious if anyone knew the answer to it. One thing I love about the B744 is how the flaps and gear lever in the cockpit have a smooth animation. For example, when you move the gear up, it's not like the ngx or 777 where it pulls out, pauses, goes up, then pushes back in with no animation feature. I know this is a small thing but was curious if there was any idea of importing this into the 777 or ngx. I understand the ngx may not have this update as they're making the ng3 but I was still curious. Thanks!

Greetings. I am trying to narrow down the cause of this issue.I have Steelseries wireless headphones and I never had issues till I started making changes to my audio settings. I had all my sounds routed via headphones and headphones was shown as primary sound device in PC, P3D4 and vPilot settings. I was tired of loud windy noise (not sure if it is engines or external noise) so I had hard time to hear and understand air controllers. I decided to have ATC and NGX/777 cockpit sounds via the headphones and engines and everything else via speakers. It works normal for about an hour or two in flight then cockpit sounds disappear. However headphones still works (I think).…

I've had problems with accessing documents within the PMDG Operations Center using Adobe Reader DC. When I click on a pdf document, nothing happens. If I exit the Operations Center and navigate to the document within the PMDG sub-directory under FSX, I still can't open the document, or any other pdf. If I reboot, I'm then able to open any pdf document. I'm running Win10 Home 64b and have the latest version of Adobe Reader DC installed. I previously found that I had to run the reader in Win 8 compatibility mode after a previous siege with PMDG pdfs but the operations center seems to kill the ability of open pdfs. Any ideas? I'm a new P3D user who just bought the 777 & 747 family.. I have used PMDG products before in FSX and well aware of your high quality standards.. In P3D it looks way more jaw dropping and amazing.. also loving the system depth.. now onto the questions: 1. 777 - I know this is an older product compared to the 747 family.. I noticed that the flap and landing gear animations are not as fluid as they are in the 747 or other products of this period.. perhaps its using older 2014 tech? Will it get updated after the -8 is released and all products are brought to today's modeling standards? This was the only thing i found with the 777.. all other modeling looks and …

How do you get rid of the green box on the FMC? When I try to program it, it comes up for no reason and I cannot use any of my keys to change views, set the parking break, etc. Insanely annoying.

On the 777, is there a phone in the cockpit where the pilot can call her husband to remind him to pick up the kids at school? Does the flight attendants intercom phone also have ability to make a call? I remember 15 years ago they used to have phones on the seat backs, that idea quickly died.

Hello captains, As I, and likely most of you out there, we are all getting really excited for the 747-8. However, I've never actually been part of an actual PMDG product going live on an the exact release date. I've always just bought it after I've heard about it from other people a few days after it's released. Does Rob usually put up a big post in the forum when it goes live? Or would we just keep checking until we see a price tag that's under $325,000,000 😂 I know this post sounds kinda geeky but I'm really excited and want to know the moment it's posted 😀 Thanks and happy landings!

Does anyone know how to use SDK in the 747-400 ,as I want to use this to activate fuel switches for the 747-400 v3,in fsuipc when I put the number in the box for custom control eg 968 for fuel control switch eng 1 I was told by Pete Dowson that it must have other numbers with it very confused ?

Ok, I pay for the 777-200 and the &777-300 and the 737-800 NGX for flight simulator X Steam but tonight I got my the P3D v4 can i use the same key i got for FSXSE to use it in my P3dV v4 I really don't want to pay for another $189 for all three same aircraft from PMDG?

Hello again. I woke up this morning to find that the PMDG operations center does not recognize my PMDG planes. I checked FSX and they are still there but it just says buy now in the operations center. Any fix to this? Thanks

Since I started keeping spreadsheets on 1/30/2017, I've accumulated 135 flights in the PMDG 737. Wish I had started keeping the spreadsheets back in 1984...w/ Flight Simulator II by Sublogic…then again I might stroke out seeing the number of hours spent simming….. How do you all calculate the Landing Vref speed for your FMS? i imagine there is a chart that takes into consideration current weight, airport info ,etc?

Hello all! Have any of you seen dynamic lighting work from airport flood lights on the ramps? I've noticed that my taxi lights do hit vehicles and buildings, but lights dont reflect or light up the aircraft. Im running P3D v4 and most of the airports that I have are payware (ORBX, FSDT, Flightbeam, etc...) I have reflections enabled for aircraft as well.

After a series of hardware upgrades, I am finally at the point where I am ready (well, willing) to jump from FSX to P3Dv4. I was thinking that the -8 would be a good debut for my P3D hangar. But then it occurred to me that my 747 QOTSII is the FSX version. I know the 747 QOTSII base package is a license for a specific platform. From Rob's 21Jan17 post: "Yes... Hello folks, not sure since when I screwed up my NVIDIA settings or what else triggered this, but since several months loading the 3D cockpits of DC6, 737, 747 takes some time, about one second; means, the instruments are being loaded in groups, e.g. coming from the outside view, If I flip immediately to the copilot view -- during the 3D cockpit building up -- pushing A (or is it S? I am using my cooly head on the joystick), this 2nd view is instantly there. Today I reconfigured and optimised the NVIDIA settings again (using the NVIDIA inspector), but F9 calling for the first 3D view remains unchanged, loading is still not instant.…

So... while waiting for the new release, my second computer has blue screened me 3 times in the last week... uh oh... ok, time move up anyway. So I ordered a new Alienware Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8700K with 16GB ram (probably more to follow) and Dual NVIDIA(R) GeForce(R) GTX 1080 Ti graphics with 11GB GDDR5X each (NVIDIA SLI(R) Enabled)...
