Captains, We have just about all of the bits in place for this weekend's update for the PMDG 747-400 Queen of the Skies II and PMDG 747-8 Queen of the Skies II products. We are sitting on what we hope is a minor technical snag that delayed the release from this afternoon to, **probably** Saturday afternoon. (Stress is on **probably** because we cannot say for certain when the issue will clear.) Captains, Just a quick drive-by to let you know that our support team has been collecting reports from users on various and sundry items that need development team attention, from the serious (a control freeze) to the mundane (an equipment option that doesn't save state) and everything in between. As is normal during this period post initial release, we are doing a bit of triage on significant items that have potential to ruin your day, and also nipping off quite a bit of the low-hanging-fruit that is easy to clean up with an interim release. In light of the recent Jetways depressurisation incident and in order to 'force' us to do a good panel scan at cold&dark, I was thinking we could have a new type of random failures that incorrectly places a switch/nob/breaker when we load the cold&dark panel state. Hello, I reset my PC about a month ago and have been having some problems. I previously had the PMDG Boeing 737-800/900 NGX Base Package and the PMDG Boeing 777-200 L/R Base Package. But when I went to sign in after the PC reset, it said my E-Mail address didn't exist in their costumer database. Its been almost a month since the PC reset and i still haven't been able to log in to get my products back. I don't know if my E-Mail was put in wrong when I made the PMDG account, or if it was a glitch of some sort. I have photos of both order tickets saved. I really love these products and would appreciate some help in getting them back. Thank You, Gavin Cromley

Is anyone else have problems accessing the PMDG website under http://www.precisionmanuals.com. Have tried adding exception but still no joy. Also tried various browsers. Also if I send an email it is getting returned with message unable for find mail server Regards Doug

Hello, Was just wondering how one would test the TCAS system on the dash 8? The 400 was just a simple push in the middle of the TCAS dial. For the life of me I cant seem to find any reference on how to complete the test? Thanks Darren

Goodday, Purchased the 744 and 748 this afternoon. Excellent aircraft from the looks. But, I have a problem with the CDU. Whenever I enter the ORIGIN (for example EHAM), the scratchpad shows LN:1 ERR AT. There aren't any SID/STARS on whatever airport. AIRAC 1810 installed. I've been playing around with the EFB and I've been exceeding the Maximum ZFW with 0 cargo, and nowhere near a full load of passengers. I'm just looking for some verification that I'm not nuts before submitting a support ticket, as I'm probably doing something wrong.

Hi all, i have an issue with updates over the OPS center. Starting PC with admin and security off. Open OPS Center, read the messages and installing the updates for 73x (downloading, then commandline window is opening and doing his work). But: nothing is changed after the install. Next time starting all new, the same updates still there. Any hint for me? Thank you 🙂 Matthias

Captains, A few moments ago we have replaced the installers for the following products: PMDG 747-400 Queen of the Skies II FOR FSX & PMDG 747-8 Queen of the Skies II Expansion FOR FSX If you are an FSX customer reading this message and you own these products, it does apply to you. If you are a P3D customer reading this message it does NOT apply to you. For all customers for these products, you should do the following: Uninstall the PMDG 747-400 (and 747-8 if you installed it) Download the installers once again (please: just go get them again. we replaced them at 0300Z...) Hi everyone, Which manual covers logging in to ACARS. I know I can bypass the login but I would like to use it, however, I'm unable to get past the 'Perf Init Data Not Entered' message on the ACARS menu. I have look at the docs included and apparently missed that section. Can someone kindly direct me to the manual which tells me specifically must be filled in to complete that requirement. Thank you! I thought the expansion 747-8 came with a tutorial, but can't find it. the ops center does not have it, it only has the one for the 747 base model.

Hey there, I notice the website was redesigned lately and only has the T7 manuals in Japanese. I'm currently at work and wanted to do some binge reading, could anybody share the 1.5 Tutorial in English? Thanks!

First off downloaded the 747-8 yesterday, Great Aircraft. Now to my problem, I installed the 748 yesterday and also reinstalled the 744. I downloaded some liveries for both aircraft. Today I cant. the aircraft are missing from my OC. this isn't the first time. but maybe instead of having to reinstall all my pmdg aircraft is there a shorter way to fix this problem I'm having.

PMDG, A huge thank you to all the devs, staff, testers etc... For making the project available. I remember buying my first PMDG product from a local games store on disc many years ago, And that's when i just fell in love with the quality. Over all these years i've bought the products for FSX and now P3D and never find fault. Whenever there has been an issue pop up its always been resolved very quickly with a support ticket. Reason for this post is purely to thank you as you've made my flight simming experience much more entertaining over the years. I look forward to buying more in the future! Can I use symbolic links with PMDG products to free up my SSD?

Captains, During the past few releases, Kyle has taken some time to create really nice, articulate, overview videos to show you what is coming. I thought for sure we had too many things on his plate to expect another one, but he did it. If you are eagerly awaiting the PMDG 747-8, or even mildly curious how different this airplane is from the PMDG 747-400, watch this video. HI, When I treid to login in terminal charts. The Page is not loading

I downloaded and installed the DC-6 the other day and after installation the operations center popped up. I went to go download some liveries today and can not find the ops center anywhere. I have looked in the start menu as well as a search of all installed apps on my computer and there is no mention of PMDG anywhere. It seems like the only way I can get to the ops center is to run the installer for the DC-6 again. The aircraft itself loads fine in the sim and looks awesome.

Hi, Since updating to P3DV4 I can no longer double click on the magnifying glass symbol (when hovering over FMC or other display units) to unlock and move to another display monitor this on all PMDG aircraft (I always did this to enlarge the text and ease the input and reading of data) Anyone else had this problem ???
