Upon updating to P3D v 4.4 found that the only thing that's not working right is that I am unable to turn off the takeoff lights after takeoff. Did PMDG update anything post P3D update? Thanks

Wed Nov 28th, 21:00. I am attempting to get a new livery for my T7 but it seems that the operations center is not working. From what I can see it is not connecting to the server to update. I see "Connecting to Online server for updates..." for about 10 secs and then the normal menus come up. Choosing to install a livery just shows the "Downloading livery data....Connecting..." screen and that is where it freezes. I have to CTL-ALT-DEL and kill the process. After about 30 seconds it is telling me that TLS 1.2 is disabled for my system which it is not. Both the FSX and P3Dv4 options do not work. I am looking into getting trackir 5 and mainly fly PMDG birds so wanted to ask here if anyone has any experience using it with PMDG and if it’s worth it. So any thoughts from those who have used it would be incredibly helpful. Thanks

I have P3Dv4 and latest NVIDIA driver(416.34) and now have large drop in FPS (25% less) and stuttering when the P3Dv4 window is active. If I mouse click outside the P3Dv4 window (it goes out of focus) the FPS increases and stuttering goes away. This is the same for all PMDG airplanes. I am on Windows 10 Pro 1803. Is this a known issue, or is something in my setup?

Hi, I'm installing PMDG Aircraft into P3Dv4 but am just wanting to check I'm doing it correctly? 1) Run the download file and Select Modify 2) Put a tick into P3Dv4 box and then press next? 3) I don't remove the tick in the P3dv3 installation box do I? As I've done this but the 400/400F isn't showing up in my Add/Remove programs for v4 only for v3 but they have installed into P3D4, then when I go into Ops Centre it shows latest version yet there wasn't a update shown on the Ops Centre? How do I remove the 744 from P3Dv4 with it not showing up in Add/Remove Programs? Not that I should have to only if there is a fault with my pc? If that's…

Hey guys! Thank you for updating the DC6 for P3D.When the DC6 originally came out,I found it very difficult to handle.So,I put it aside and went on to fly other aircraft. Recently I noticed that the DC6 was updated,and now she is very flyable.Also, in the past,she was prone to CTD's.RIght now,she is a whole lot more stable. I think I can say that PMDG,together with A2A ,produce top level propliners.For people in our hobby,it is difficult to find realistic reproductions of propliners. Hello everyone, I'm experiencing a strange problem with pmdg 747, the volumetric cloud/fog seems not blending with the aircraft. Whenever the aircraft flies into cloud or fog, the strange behavior appears. From the outside view, the windows of the 747 stayed black while the rest of the aircraft disappeared in the cloud/fog. This happens also with Oldprop 747 Immersion installed, the outer engine not displaying fog effect properly (refer to the attachment). I'm running P3D v4.3. I've been out of the sim for over a year and just getting back in. In the Ops Center it tells me that my NGX, 747V3 and 777 need updated. When I click on "Install Update" for the products, a black window with some text code pops up for a couple seconds and then that's it. So then I run the sim (fsx) thinking they were updated but nothing was changed. So I exit fsx and run the Ops Center again and it gives me the same notifications that my products need updated. What gives? I thought this op center thing was supposed to be convenient? How do I update? Thanks

With global flight operations, I understand that with persistent aircraft that a person may fly an aircraft for instance with an INOP APU. Will this and similar situations be displayed in the Panel with a MEL sticker?

Im running P3d v4.3 on my desktop and when trying to download liveries, the OC says "Livery not found in aircraft.cfg after it should have been added". It also said that I must enable TLS 1.2, which was already enabled. I am really confused and need some help. By the way, my OC is fully up to date and so are my aircraft.

While waiting to put the funds together to purchase an ATC add on, I have been using the dreaded default ATC. My question is this: When ATC issues a traffic advisory for other traffic about my PMDG 777-200 aircraft the message refers to my aircraft as "Boeing". Is there a way to change something in aircraft.cfg or elsewhere so that ATC refers to mine as 777? I appreciate any insight (and a free ATC add-on gift for the holiday) Rob

Hello, I have a little problem. I bought a vibration motor to use it for "stall" and I use Mobiflight (but this is not important now). I would know how is working STALL system in PMDG. Any offset mapping, anything for this? It is earlier than "primitive fsx's stall system". It is independed. Where can I find information of stall system in PMDG to make it connected with hardware? I recently read that the crashed 747 at Halifax did not have GPS and was incapable of RNAV procedures. this was rather confusing to hear since I though all variants of the pmdg 747 have an FMC and are capable of doing RNAV procedures. Is this something that PMDG did not impliment in there 747?

Hi All I am running the Prepar3dv4 simulator with pmdg 747-400 and the qualitywings 787-9. Have no issues except for the replay after landing. The qualitywings replay is perfect, reverse thrusters are shown activating, and the speed brakes redeploy each time the replay is replayed. However the pmdg 747-400 has never shown reverse thrusters for years now, and the speed brakes don't redeploy, they just stay deployed for all replays there after. Is this just me, or is this standard for all simmers. If it is a bug can or will pmdg rectify this bug. I have only raised this since installing the 787, and I am wondering if one company can g…

Long ago I heard PMDG was making a 747 sim at their facility in the Washington DC area that would be open to the public. I was told that it was waiting for the 747 to be complete. Is this sim ready to go? PLease advise, I'd love to make a vacation out of it. The only other 747 sim I can use is in Miami (not a bad choice for a vacation either)

Hello everybody 🙂 I have installed P3D V4 with the PMDG aircraft. The 777LR / F and 777-300ER and the 747-400 and 747-8 What annoys me totally is the zoom factor of 0.30 🤔 The problem with the zoom factor I have with all aircraft. With + and - I can change the value, but that can not be the solution. Can someone please tell me where I can change the zoom value? I'd like to take the Zoom value at .40 on PMDG planes or some other value. Please help !

I notice there are only 2 top level locked threads here at the PMDG support forums, 1 for the important full name rules thread which seriously EVERYONE SHOULD READ and the other for the cool forum banners to showcase released products. Trouble is the banner thread is 9 years old now and none of the links work. Fancy doing a new one sometime with all the cool products you have released since? I am versions behind. The Operations Center is not updating and I keep getting the same message that updates are available. I have downloaded the latest version from my account page, however when running the installer I am getting "Feature Transfer Error", and some other stuff....component DEM, File: <Folder_SIM2>, Error : Filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect.
