Is there a way to put the Lower DU on a remote device (e.g. a tablet) so that you can interact with it. More specifically I am thing about the Electronic Checklist.

Greetings All, As many of you i am sure, I jumped on the 747 update as soon as i saw it was available. Download and install went great...but upon loading, I had blank screens and no landing gear(!). Turns out I *thought* I had upgraded to P3Dv4.4 months ago, but it didn't 'take'. I still had v4.3.29. Chris at PMDG walked me through it and provided this very helpful info: "The proper way is to uninstall P3Dv4.3 client and install P3Dv4.4 client. If you try install on top it will not update. Concerning the update fiasco Jan 5. Reading some of the comments from my original post (thread locked now) some kinda of "snarky" ?? re: "foretelling the future" made by pmdg staff in my initial post. My point was simply that perhaps when the update was released, a notam would have been in order. Something like: *The new update is for 4.4 only. All other versions use at your own risk*. In hindsight, this would have alleviated the deluge of reported problems that were seen in the forums. If I remember correctly, this was acknowledged later. Could be useful with all future updates. Hello PMDG Team, Thank you for updating the 747 V3. If you want to please some of your customers, upgrade the 777 with the same options as for the 747 with ground vehicles, walkways, and the opening and closing of doors. Disarming / Arming system. best wishes for 2019 dom

My Operation centre keeps on telling me that an update is available for the PMDG 747 v3. This update is dated 27.9.18 and is v 3.00.9019. It doesn't matter how many time I say yes to download and update, it says it has updated but next time I check, the message returns. My version is currently sticking at 9008. The new update just doesn't "stick". How do I fix this? Ian Harrison

Dear PMDG Team, after I did install the update 3.00.9193 there are some problems, so far: 1. 747-400 ERF - the strobe lights does not work (no flash) and the wheels are to much in the ground (too deep), even with short range fuel and no payload on board 2. 747-400F - the strobe lights does not work (no flash), wheels are good The other models I did not try. I tend to file my flight plans with enough fuel to reach my alternate that's above my reserves. Am I too conservative with this? Is it ok to divert and land with some of my reserve fuel used? -Angelo Busato

Hi all, I had previously installed the PMDG 737 NGX for P3d4 into my sim. Due to a problem I had to uninstall. Due to uninstalling, I manually deleted the "PMDG Operations Center" Folder in m C drive. As such, when ever I try to reinstall the product, only 4 files come up, 3 being images and the other just being the OC updater exe. Is there any way I might be able to get the OPS center back? Hello, Whenever trying to download version info or liveries in the OC, now it says that I need to enable TLS 1.2 in Control Center. I've looked this up in many different forums and tried everything I've been reading. I've even tried disabling 1.2 and re-enabling it again. Any new ideas? Thanks!

Hi all, i was just doing a long haul in the 747-8 and when in the air was thinking of a couple of little features that would be handy. On the ground in cold and dark in the middle of the night it would be cool to have a little simulated torch to see the overhead buttons and switches to start the start process. Also during long cruises it would be nice if there was auto sync feature for keep the heading bug aligned during cruise whilst you are away doing life things 🙂 Just some late night thoughts. I am finding quite anoying that every time i change a livery in the pmdg 747-800 (as an example) I have to set up all the aircraft and options again! if there a way to save all this changes so that one I change the livery all the set ups are saved? Hello Everyone, I wanted to get opinions on using a camera addon. I’ve been using track ir ( and very satisfied) for many years, as discussed in another thread recently. I’ve stayed away from the camera addons for unknown reasons really. I would love to hear any opinions. Do you guys swear by camera addons? Can you live without them, as I have, or am I really missing anything? My intent is not really to start a “which is better” debate, but to learn if I should finally add a camera addon to my sim experience. I can’t imagine flying without Track ir! Hello, I had my SSD die on me right before Christmas, and I'm wondering how I can (or if I need to) deactivate the PMDG NGX and 777 without having access to the FMC or the uninstaller in Windows?

I set a flight up to fly from EDFH to SBGL in the 744F and then when i went to set up the arrival airport i found i had no data for the rwys at SBGL in the FMC. This was the same for the 777 and the 737. I deleted the ARPT_RWY.dat file as explained in another post on another forum but this did not help. I am using Airac cycle 1813 and all up to date Does anyone have any advice for this problem? any help would be really appreciated.

Hi guys, I'm missing in the 747-8i / F the sounds see picture, although the active. How can I fix the error?

Tried making a purchase today (several attempts), used three types of cards (Discover, AMEX, MC etc.) still no success. Kept getting the same message as shown in the screenshot below. Wanted to get the 737 NGX base package. Btw, all credit cards are active and at least one of them was used today to make other online purchases and it worked. Also called the credit cards and there does not seem to be any issue at their end or on my credit availability. Also, does PMDG not have an email or phone number for handling/responding to customers?.....I could not find one on the site.

Hi guys Anyone experienced the following problem? Running 737/777 or 747 in p3d 4.3 with native VR (Oculus Rift) I get a white square box on the Pilots side just outside the window. I Can't get rid off it. It seem to match in dimensions the Pop Up frame. If you go look at the screen you can see any Pop up windows matching the whte box This is limited only to PMDG aircraft Any help highly appreciated Thanks Elmar Wegerle

Hey guys, I'm using the NGX and the DC-6.. tomorrow I'm planning to upgrade my GPU, do I need to deactivate/ reactivate in this case, or will it just work plug and play?

When I try to log in it says the system has changed and it will mail me a link to set a new password, however that email never arrives, I have tried it 4 times today. Same thing goes with retrieving my previous orders email, nothing arrives. John Skibo
