Ok guys...the secret is out. The ATF (Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco & Frag-gee-lee) raided my aircraft on a hunch that I was carrying counterfeit floor lamps from the movie "A Christmas Story." A dead giveaway was of course PMDG's ill-advised act of labeling the "WOODPIGEON" boxes with the code word FRAGILE...as we all know is pronounced "Frag-Gee-Lee". Anyway, they used their infrared and x-ray devices to discover this: The smaller box was lead-lined so they could not see into it, but I heard when they cracked it open it was packed with dozens of Red Ryder carbine action two-hundred shot range model air rifles...but without the compass in the stock…

Hello dear aviation lovers, Today I wanted to start a flight from EDDF to KMCO. I choose the PMDG 747-400 queen of the skies. Then as normal as ever I tried to load the flight plan into the company route. But the FMC said that my departure airport is not in Data base. This happens with every airport. I tried to put many airports to origin but also every other airport is not in data base. I have the newest AIRAC installed but don’t know what’s the problem. Also tried with 777 same problem there.

Hello. I recently got a new PC for Flight Sim, I also had PMDG loaded on my previous one. So, I dug through my old Emails to find the Activation Code and the Key for the 737NGX. I installed the 737 no problem, yet when I went to run it in FSX, I got an error message saying "Initialization of License Library Failed." I haven't found any other solutions thus far, I've tried re-installing, seeing if my other codes still work, etc. Thoughts? Ideas? Thanks. Elliott.

I believe the default airframe stress detection within P3D is not recommended to be active when using PMDG products. It's a pity that an approach upset, or any other upsets in flight end up with no consequence due to crash or stress detection being disabled. I wonder whether PMDG would maybe incorporate their own crash / stress detection algorithms in the future?

Hello my name is Neria Hefer. I have tried to update 747V3 version 3.00.9019 fsx, without success. PMDG Operations Center tells me there is an update available. When I click the OK button, another window pops up showing a black bar download progress but it only shows in milliseconds and nothing happens.Just a flash of the RED notification on the top right hand saying I have 1 notification. But checking the Notification say's I have no notifications. I have a similar problem with the 737-800NGX. I reviewed some similar topics and try following steps: 1. I've been flying a lot with PMDG's 777-200LR (splendid acft) but everytime I go to outside view it appears a skeleton of acft that completes after a few seconds. Is there any way to correct it?

I have a windows system that has a Nvidia 980TX card and 2 4k monitors. Everything plays fine on 1 monitor but when I detach instruments and drag them to the 2nd monitor, the display goes blank. I only seem to experience this with PDMG airplanes. I have them all.

Hey all, If you haven't heard the news yet, LM just announced (via FSElite) that Prepar3d v4.4 is scheduled to release this Wednesday, November 28th. There is a loooooong change log, most noticeably the official implementation of PBR rendering in the P3D client. This is a big change to the way the sim renders, so I have to ask: will addons like PMDG aircraft and developer airports be affected? Do we need to wait for an update before we install the new P3D client? Thanks!

Captains, Just a quick drive-by to let you know that we are *still* working on the pending update for the 747 product line. We have a few items that we are testing that haven't passed our own internal "sniff test" that tells us that they are ready for public consumption. For the most part the product is stable, but we have a few nagging items that we want to finish testing thoroughly before we push them out as public releases, because they are considered to be "high risk" changes. Hi, For the 747-8, which number of engines should be turned off during taxiing to save fuel (inner or outer ones?) ? I saw one clip when the Capt, just switch on #2 and #4 during pushback and taxiing. And if with only two engines running, should the APU on too ? Thanks

The location for my flights is in a folder (Flight Simulator X -Steam Edition Files) in this path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\FSX. They have Sharing rights, but none of the flights show up when I select Load and then Free Flights in my FSX: SE program window. Not sure if this is a specific problem with the 747 because I have tried other aircraft and haven't had the same issue. Not sure whether it is dynamic lighting or the tomato preset I use; but whenever in the PMDG 747 at Heathrow the vc always goes dark even with full dome light on and the exterior is very light. This is with full dome light on. Another thing, when moving to the overhead panel or down to the pedestal trhe dome loght seems to appear again (if you know what I mean ) but once moving back to the captain position it goes dark again... Also, if I go under any stand light at the airport then it lights up the vc. …

I did a complete re-install of windows 10 and cleaned my PC I downloaded and installed P3D V4.4 Downloaded PMDG 737 & 777 Installed both aircraft I can open P3D with any aircraft, however when I try to open either PMDG aircraft from the start or after loading another default aircraft I get a black screen and P3D not responding. Hi, I have the default Copa 737-800 and its got a tail number that doesn't fit in the tail number box in the details menu. How do I modify FSX in order for it accept the full tail number? -Angelo Busato

I purchased a 1TB M.2 drive to add to my computer. I uninstalled P3D v4, the PMDG aircraft, the scenery files, etc. I next did a full install of P3D v4 on my "new" drive (drive D) and kept the OS on drive C. I installed the PMDG NGX and 777 to P3D and see it on the new D drive, but I also see the PMDG file on my C drive under Prepar3D and PMDG is the only entry under that folder. I also have the same folder on the new D drive in P3D. I tried to update the nav data using Navigraph FMS Data manager, but the aircraft is still stuck on the 2011 AIRAC. Do I delete the PMDG entry on the C drive or is that where I point Navigraph? Thanks

Hi there, I'm trying to contact PMDG support via the support area but (helpdesk), since I tried to reset my password every time I log in it asks me to change the password, I do, but it does absolutely nothing more than refreshing the page once and again. So, it's that face-palm-situation that you cannot contact the support because the only method you have to is not working................ Said that, has anybody experienced the same issue? Hello, I'm moving to the new PC build very soon and I'm wondering what is the best tactic for backup meaning than I need to save all the textures and *сfg files. Is it ok if I merely save aircraft.cfg files and then all panel configuration files + liveries later? Thank you, Dmitry Toropov

Hi, have all the PMDG jets and the J41. Used them for many years with no problems because I always REFM! Got to admit though I am sooooo sick of every single time I load up any PMDG aircraft in any way ESPECIALLY after a DEFAULT aircraft I have to get this nag screen: PMDG Warning Screen It has become even more of a pain recently as I use full screen window software which keeps my main FSX window running sweetly on monitor 1 while other apps and work run on monitor 2. So many times my FSX has crashed as I tab through multiple background windows trying to get rid of this erroneous message. Especially as all the planes work great and I AM using a default…
