Hi, the Sim is P3D V4.1 on Win10 Home (without the latest Meltdown patches as I have disabled WIndows update) and the aircraft is the PMDG 747 with all the latest micro updates applied. Everything has been working flawlessly until two days ago, but then all of a sudden I am experiencing this problem: when I launch a flight at an addon airport, it loads everything correctly and then it starts the initializtion of the airplane, and the green bar with the seconds counter appears on top of the screen. Hello, just some questions on what affect fuel consumption with engines and apu: On which planes these apply too, if any or if all: Does anti ice create more of a load and require more fuel? Does electrical load, such as turning on more lights ect create more of a load and require more fuel? Do hydraulic pumps (engine driven) create more of a load and require to burn more fuel? I've been very angry about this but the auto-pilot has not been engaging when I press it. It has done this on the 747 version 3 for the P3D and the 737NGX. Last night, I was flying the 737NGX and after departing Charlotte International at about 2 to 3 thousand feet, I pressed the auto-pilot button and it will not engage. What's the damned problem? I was not able to engage it until after reaching 37,000 feet, and after about 5 to 10 minutes, it finally engaged. It has engaged in the past and I'm using the same technique as I've always have. Yes, I've set the trim control, but the FS2Crew always comes behind me and resets it, but as far as know, it still should work. It is …

This is the second time I ever started a topic in PMDG forums, the first one being several years ago, when I made my suggestions about how to achieve an illusion of "refraction" on the NGX HUD combiner glass (I still think it's viable, and wish PMDG should give it a try, but I digress). Hi guys I'm just back after 6 months away. Mostly in hospital:-( and trying to sort my flight sim... I've just purchased the 747-8 only to get a message saying I first have to install my 747 base package. I bought my QOS base pack about a year ago. I now see there's a v3. Do I have to buy the base pack yet again before i can install the 748?

In FSX SP2, I could no longer find the option in add-on menu to load a new PMDG panel state. Thinking it must have something to do with the new update available, I decided to finally do the update. The OP Center had notification that new version was available. I selected INSTALL Option and clicked OK. A DOS screen appeared very briefly and quickly disappeared before I could read any content. Then nothing else happened. I checked my version and still had notification that a newer version was available. Closed OP center and reopened and again had the same notification of new update and it still showed that I had my older version. I have Windows 10. Any ideas? Or mu…

Hi, with the new 747-8 I experienced when loading a new set up flight in P3D V4.3 the loading progress bar hangs a very long time (about 15 - 20 min) at the "Adjusting Scenery Objects" step (at 82%). It takes much much much...longer than with other addons the PMDG QUOTSII 747-400 included. Has anybody experienced the same phenomenon ? Normally it takes about 3 - 5 minutes. After that the flight is running fine without any hassles and at a very good frame rate. i have Terminal charts connection error (APRTS LIST) in P3v4 it just happened this morning and i have no access to charts i even restarted the EFB and nothing? Help regards Rashon Connor

Hello, Since I use PFPX exclusively for flight planning (not takeoff and landing calculations, mind, really looking forward to the EFB for that), is there anyone that - during the beta, or in preparation for release - has made a profile for the aircraft and its variants? Hi Folks, Flying the 747-4, or -8, I get brakes overheat warning, even if I don't use the auto-brakes, or, even light manual braking. Usually, resulting in not able to taxi. I do have Saitek rudder pedals, but am careful with the brakes. Not a problem with other aircraft. Ideas? Jerry Friz

Hi captains, Yesterday I made my "maiden" flight with the B748. Everything went perfect except that I was unable to remove a message in the upper EICAS that says: "HYD_RSVR_PRESS 2". I've checked the Hydraulics section in the QRH but couldn't find anything that helps. I know that it's my fault but I can't find the solution. Any advice? Thanks in advance. Happy flights!

Gentleman, Just purchased a licence for the P3DV3/4 version of the 737. I have a computer with both versions of P3D installed. I would like to install the aforementioned software for use in either version. Your EULA states: "One user may use the Software on the Customer's computer where the software was installed; you may use the Software on a second computer so long as only one copy is used at a time and only after having secured a second license permission from PMDG." Question 1: Is it possible to install the software on my one PC so that the 737 is available in either version of P3D? Question 2: Do I need a "second licence permission" to d…

Hello, Since the new version of the 747-8 (and the last update) when I seize for example the frequency 122.800 it also installs well on IVAP but when I select it to be on the IVAO network it changes to 136.970, then I must call the frequency 122.8 to really work. It's the same when I click right on the panel of IVAO to select a frequency to take, it entered but when I left click to select it returns to 136.970 .... Grrrr Or do I make a mistake? Good Day, I purchased the PMDG 747-400 QOTSII Base Package P3D in June 2018. I then downloaded the aircraft and has been working fine. Today I purchased the 747-800 and since I have to update the base package, I must download it from PMDG. But I couldn't find the 747-400 in my account! Thank you for your help. Faisal.

After takeoff, I toasted by brakes and blew out a few tires (because I am a really great pilot). I tried to have my tires changed at 20,000 feet, but that option was grayed out. (AAA would not service me over the Mohave Dessert) . So I was forced to land with bad tires causing all the liquor in first class to spill). It was only when I came to a full stop was ground repairs made available. Is there a setting that can be changed to allow for in flight repairs? (PMDG 777 and 737 allow it).

Hi I bought the PMDG 748 a couple of days ago from my iPad and they sent me an email with the download link but when I click onto it , it says this page cannot be reached. I also cannot access the PMDG website. Help is appreciated Jenson

I am trying to install the 737NG and when I get past the screen asking which version I want (FSX & FSX Steam) I get the following error message; An outdated version of FSX-SE has been detected. Before you can install this PMDG product you will need to update FSX-SE. However, I have the most recent version of FSX-SE on my PC and there are no updates available. Thanks in advance, Brian Nuss

Hi. I just bought the pmdg 747-800 expansion version and i'm facing a problem to update and install some paint kits. Even if i select and confirm ok to install the update, if i close the PMDG Ops Center and open it again, the same updates appear. Beyond that problem, some paint kits simply don't download and install and some do. I unistalled all my pmdg aicrafts, downloaded the installation files again and reinstalled, but the problem persists. Can someone do an EFB tutorial? I have the new 747-8 and bought the Navigraph update, but when I hit terminal charts, a window comes up saying to authenticate Navigraph. When I hiot yes to accept, P3D crashes. Any advice

Just looking at this on the website looks very promising. Anybody have any details of what it will involve? ACARS, Weather, Dispatch, Airport operations staff, Pilot to pilot? What will all this mean? I am assuming more emersion in to real world flight operations but since I have never been a pilot I am at a loss. Can someone from PMDG chime in? Thanks.
