I am trying to reload the expansion kit for the 777 on a new computer I have reset my new password but cannot get past the unique character it's asking for. Can anyone help me Thanks

I just tried to install this aircraft in P3DV4 and it says cannot find the FSX.exe which I have in P3DV4 How do I install this in the V4 sim Thanks

I imagine this is my fault, but want to know if there is a way to unstick the grayed out "Disconnecting" on the Ground Power? I removed the chocks before I disconnected the GPU and it went into this state....but the TUG never comes by to pick it up and disconnect. Tried putting chocks back in and cycling a few things. Do not want to reset the plane as I just got the flightpan and all the parameters loaded....ugh. Is there a fix without reloading the plane? I'll put in a a ticket if need be, but wanted to see if there was a quick fix other's have discovered first. I'm pretty sure I saw Lomaric flying around with a GPU connected as he too encountered it…

Hello folks, I just built a new computer, had to install everything.. Now there is no drop-down for VR. Never had this problem running V4.2. I am missing something, probably very simple. I have searched P3D, just thought someone here might be able to help. Thanks in advance, Jerry Friz

Hi there PMDG, I was wondering if a PFPX profile for the 747-8 was being considered when you make your 747-8 (similar the ones FSL did when they released their A320)? The reason I ask is that I worry not many people are going to have any access to 747-8 data to make a profile for it. Cheers, Rudy

Good evening, I was away from my PC for the most of the last week and once I came back I decided to install the latest 747 update (i don't own 748 yet). PMDG OC still shown 09/27 "Wide Beta Update" as a latest update and moreover, the OC cannot install it - it just skips it and do nothing. Hence, every time I run the OC it notifies me about the update I cannot install. What would be my next action in this situation? Thanks Dmitriy Torpov

Hi everyone, Just wanted to draw attention to this thread, reporting the inclusion of Kai Tak/VHHX (Old Hong Kong) in Navigraph's airacs, beginning with Airac 1712. I've tested it with the PMDG 777-300ER and it works. No more editing of navdata files each time a new airac is released! Thanks to Jock McIntyre and Martin Stewart for their past and present work on Kai Tak, and to Richard Stephan of Navigraph. Mike

Been flying in VR a LOT lately and love it. I actually removed my big fancy 4k monitor as i no longer use it but use VR. Now i know about the white box issue in VR and solved that by using the transparency slider. No longer get 2D panels to pop up but at least i get clear VR. My main question is this. Is there a way to get the VR experience to become more clear? i get a good picture, a real good picture, but in the VC, its a bit blurry at times (the textures). Even if i move in real close, it does not become sharper/clearer. Is there a way to accomplish this? Thanks!

Hello! As I'm sure we all know, the 747-8 was (one of?) the first aircraft to be certified for ETOPS-330 operations. (OK, EROPS, whatever.) I'm wondering if anyone knows typical crew procedures for ETOPS specific to the 747-8. I'm aware of all the general stuff like marking your entry and exit points, tracking ETPs and suitable airports, etc., that you would typically do same as in any other ETOPS aircraft. But, for example, some 737 ETOPS certifications require the APU to be on during the ETOPS segment. (Or maybe I'm wrong about that.) Anyone aware of similar ETOPS procedures for 747-8s?

Hello everyone, I just came across something on the upper eicam that says ''seatbelts off'' and just bellow ''seatbelts on'' all at the same time. The actual position of the knob was ''on''. Conditions: Just a quick ride on a trafic pattern at 3000' at LFMP. (FMC cruise Alt 3000 also). Is this a somehow a feature of the 747-8 or not ? Thanks in advance

I am NOT posting this in the 747 forum as I don't feel this is a support question as TOPCAT is completely off any PMDG intervention but a general understanding issue based on my incomplete knowledge. For my VA I wanted to do a cargo flight in the 747-400F from Frankfurt EDDF to Hong Kong VHHH. Loading the scheduled cargo and using the Simbrief calculated required fuel I found myself close to 400t. I then reduced my cargo for a MTOW takeoff and went over to TOPCAT for my usual performance calculation. Using the "optimum" option I got this. I am aware of the differences betw…

P3Dv4, PMDG 777 will not let me select a runway, SID or anything. I just get a blank screen showing KLAS Departures, SIDS None and nothing under runways? I cannot depart or land there?

I just noticed that in the Ops center, as well as the aircraft selection screen in FSX:SE, the Delta B748 image is actually a B744. Nothing major, incredibly minor in fact. Just figured I’d point it out anyways.

Hi, The PMDG Operations Center is one tool used to update the PMDG products. When I first open it, It would say that I have 6 new notifications, meaning that new updates are available. I run these updates by clicking the OK button. Then when I go back and open the Operations Center again, the same 6 notifications are there again, and I've just updated them. Why are these notifications keep prompting me to update them when I've already ran them? Ken Manning.

Hi, after installing the new update v3.00.9008 the 4 engines are shaking/ wobbling in a not realistic way. It happens also on the ground while the engines are in idle. I did uninstall the update v3.00.9008 and install the last version v3.00.8415. The version v3.00.8415 does not have that problem. It must be a problem with the update v3.00.9008. I do have FSX. I wanted to buy the new 747-8 but I will "wait". Maybe there will be a solution for that. Chris

Captains, A few moments ago we have released the PMDG 747-8 Queen of the Skies II for both Prepar3D and FSX. An FSX license may be used in both FSX and FSX-Steam Edition. A P3D license may be used in both P3D v3 and P3D v4.3+ That is all for this announcement- I'm going to keep it short so that I can jump in with the support team to help out anyone that needs it!

Hello, i found that the analog stby altimeter is not synched with the PFD altitude values. I was cruising at FL370 and my stby altimeter was reading about 37120ft. I'll report here just in case you didn't know about it. Here's a screenshot:

Yeeeah, someone at PMDG apparently didn't put one of the new cover sheets on the TPS report. I guess they didn't get the memo. So if they could just go ahead and make sure they do that from now on that would be great. mm-kay?
