Hello, I instaled military airport Mozdok XRMF scenery. I would like to use it with PMDG 737 and 777 and I realize I have to add data about this airport to FMS database. So I looked for some information here and I am a little stucked now. I added according information to airports.dat and ARPT_RWY.dat. Now I am on XRMF airport, simulator showing the same position I entered to those files, FMC shows same last position (around N43°.47.26; E44°.35.15), but if I entering position in FMS, XRMF has still some strange coordinates (N43°28.4; E044°.21.7)which makes XRMF airport on MFD showed about 20 miles elsewhere. I cannot find the incorrect coordinates anywhere to change. …

I had to reinstall my sim and need to download all my PMDG aircraft again, I don't see an option to do that from the operations centre, and I don't see anything in the downloads section on the website? Can anyone enlighten me, I'm sure it simple and I'm missing it :) Pete

Hey Y'all, I had a quick question. On some 777 engines I noticed that there is a black rim on the inside of the engine with some dashes. I'll upload a link for better understanding. i've seen this on RR and few GE engines for the 777 and not sure what this is. I tried to log in to my PMDG account and got a statement that I have to reset my password first. I was supposed to receive an E-mail allowing me to do that but no E-mail came, even after several attempts. I can't contact PMDG without first logging in, so this post is my only hope.

Hello, I am quite new in flight simulators, so sorry for my possible inexperience. I like to fly in Indonesia, but the P3D airport is Selaparang airport (ICAO: WADA) in Lombok as standard. Nowadays that airport is closed and replaced by Bandar international airport (ICAO: WADL). This airport is not in P3D. That's why I downloaded an add-on scenery for that airport. Now, for example, in the FMC in the PMDG 737 I want to plan a flight from Denpasar to Lombok (WADD-WADL). Then the FMC indicates that WADL (lombok airport) is not in the database. Is there a possibility that I can also get my add-on airport (Lombok airport) in the FMC Database? With best regards

Hello, on GPWS when I am for example spinning around (PMDG 737-800NGX), I can hear it on the outside while it's supposed to be only heard inside (cockpit), but I can't find a way so I can't hear the GPWS from the outside anymore. Does somebody know how?

Seeing as a lot of people seemed to have connection issues I will post this to tell you guys what he said. The big announcement is a product called Global Flight Operations. It will integrate with the new Operations Center 2.0, and basically it will work like a library for airplanes (simple terms). So basically you will go in to Op Center, and check out a specific airframe serial number that then can not be used by anyone else. You will start up with the airplane wherever the person who checked it out before you left off. You can then fly the plane to a destination of your choice, and then shut the plane down (or leave it in any state you want!) and check it back in. The …

Hi all, I've just applied the latest Operations Centre update, and upon trying to download 777 liveries, I receive the following message: 'TLS 1.2 is disabled in your Windows installation. Please enable in Control Panel/Internet Options/Advanced tab for proper downloading of OC content.' I have checked at the specified path, and TLS 1.2 is enabled. Any ideas please?

Hello. I have a recurring issue. Shortly after takeoff, the PMDG 777 and PMDG 747 both cause FSX to freeze for about 3-4 minutes and then resume, and then it doesn't happen again. It only happens after takeoff on these two planes. I checked the task manager to see how much memory FSX SE was using and it was about 911-912 mb, which is about 1000 below the memory limit for a single app. Again, its not crashing, but freezing for 3-4 minutes after takeoff, then resuming, and then running smoothly for the rest of the flight. The PMDG 737 has no issues. Any ideas?

Thought I’d post in here for fear or being shot at over in the PMDG forums. I would like to shine up my VC textures possibly using tomatoshade. PMDG have done a great job with PBR on the exterior surface but I assume the cockpit hasn’t been done yet. Has anyone managed to shine up the VC textures in the 747-4/8 using tomatoshade. (I found 777/737 profiles for p3dv4.4 so not sure they work with 4.5) I use tomatoshade for environmental tweaking but not reflections. Is there a performance hit by up-ing VC reflections with tomatoshade? I have the Maddog 82/83 which has PBR VC but even then its not so noticeable using a VR headset. Can tomato…

Hey all, I'm migrating my stuff from one PC to another, and my PMDG 737-800/900 NGX won't install because of a really annoying DirectX error that refuses to correct itself no matter what I try. An internal system error occurred. Please refer to DXError.log and DirectX.log in your Windows folder to determine problem. I tried disabling anti-virus. That didn't work. I tried installing the DirectX SDK version. That didn't work. Anyone know of a permanent solution? Looking to fly again, and I really want to get this out of my hair. Regards, AJ

Hi, I generate routes with Simbrief or Navigraph Charts folowing the *.rte format, BUT when i load it into the 747QOTS FMS, there is only Departure and arrival, the distance is true, but no legs ! With 737 NG, it works good. Is it a bug, or is it impossible with QOTS II ? Thank's, and sorry for my poor english ;)

A while ago, I decided to use an old Saitek radio panel for my pmdg ngx. I didnt want to pay for software to make this work as I was only using it for the nav and comm radios settings and the only other Saitek product that I am using is a standard throttle and that works fine on its own. Well, it kind of works ok, sometimes when I load things up the display works, sometimes it doesnt. However the frequency selectors always work and I am not too bothered if the displays work or not. Hello, I like to use my headphones but I have a stuttering problem when engines start if I use my headphones for all sounds. I will try to explain: If I select the display sounds for my monitor (set in General Tab of Prepar3d to the screen monitor) and then set the sound to my headphones in the FMS (PMDG options menu) then I have no stuttering on engine start. However, if I try to set the headphones instead of the monitor, so I can hear all sounds and not have to take my headphones off to hear the engines in outside view (sound coming from my display monitor) then I get stutters on engine startup. This has been driving me nuts as it ruins the immersion of it all. Any…

It's come to our attention since the release of the latest Windows 10 update (dubbed the "Fall Creators Update" by Microsoft) last Tuesday that a subset of users are experiencing a strange "error creating child window" message when running any of the PMDG aircraft in FSX/FSX:SE/P3D. We've confirmed that this is wholly a Microsoft/Windows issue - they've been in contact with the P3D team at Lockheed Martin and have told them that they anticipate a fix for the issue to be released some time in November. Hi, I have been flying the PMDG Products for quite a decent amount of time for now and I'm facing this new issue for the past 2 months... I Update the AIRAC and it successfully does get copied in the PMDG folder... However, when I load in a flight (777/737) in the page before the POS INIT in the FMC it says "AIRAC NOT UP TO DATE".. But, In the page before the POS INIT, it displays the active AIRAC and a positive validity range... Can someone help me with this? Thanks, Mohammed

Hello, I have the latest navigraph airacs (1904). Some SIDs on LIRF are present in navigraph charts but not in PMDG database. For example, NEMBO6A, GILIO7G, all the three TIBER... are missing from LIRQ.txt on PMDG/SIDSTARS directory. I try to delete and reload SIDSTART + NavData, but the result is the same. Igor

Hello, new to this forum. has anyone ever tried and had luck with opening .ptp files with winrar and unpacking the liveries etc for manual install? i prefer installing stuff manually so i know what goes where etc. old habit. anyway, i've tried opening them before with winrar however i can't get it to work thanks, Reacon

hello guys, I imagine that PMDG will still make the 737 max, but what we see afterwards is a "vacuum" of information about future projects, so I would like to raise the idea of pmdg look sideways and consider doing the series EMB170/175/190/195, are very popular airplanes worldwide and of great acceptance in the virtual market too, I think it would sell very well, as we are lacking a good model, the feelthere never attended properly fellas, if you agree with me make it come to pmdg guys If the PMDG thinks about doing another boeing, the 767 would be very welcome.
