PMDG General Forum

I have been away for almost the last year or so from flying. Thus I lost my activation keys to download back into FSX my new computer,the following planes, 747-400 V11 Queens of the skies, and the 777-200 and 777-300.. I am a bit confused cause I saw these planes on the Aerosoft website. Excuse my ignorance, just trying to catch up. I also had the entire 737series from PMDG as well.. So how do I get back my serial #'s to download the PMDG 747-400 V11 and the 777-200, 300 for FSX ?

I read some time ago that if you purchase the NGXu by 12/31/2019 you will get a $99.00 credit towards the purchase of the PMDG NG3 for MSFS 2020. Has that offer been extended past that 12/31/2019 cut-off? I have flown the iFly 737ng for years, but they still have not released an update for P3D 5.1. If PMDG is still offering that $99.00 credit, I'm going to make the switch. Thanks, in advance, for your help.

This is my second attempt to get an answer to what should be a simple question - by a very simple person. In a lot of a/c switching the Nav/GPS switch to GPS and selecting Nav on the A/P will enable the a/c to fly the route loaded in the GPS. How do you this in the B1900D when using the Jet Line 2 gauges?

So I’m lined up on a runway and look at my inboard display which shows I am in fact on it but that the runway heading is off 3-5 degrees. I get this all the time. Anyone have this problem? thanks, Chris Porter

Hi, I went to run the PMDG Operation Center to check for updates and it's no longer there. I normally go to Start, All Programs, PMDG Simulations, and PMDG Operations Center. When I clicked to launch it, a message popped up and said that the Operations Center had been moved or does not exist, and I have not moved it or done anything with it. When it prompted me rather to delete it or not, I went ahead and deleted it because it would never open it anyway. Then I found out that the Operations Center can be found in the Programs File (86) folder and it was empty. I don't understand why I got this message in the first place, but how can I get it re-installed? Ken.

Good Day, Due internal problems, I've recentely formated my PC and reistall my B738. Now, flaps increase or decrease two points, it'isnt posible to set flaps 5 because clicking once "jumps" to flaps 2, clickin again flaps goes to 10, no to 5 Also, after T/O VNav does not follow FMC parameters, Vertical Speed is too low and Ias/mach increase very very slow, also sometimes even LNav becomes crazy FMC is correctely programed Many tks in advance for any kind of help Regards Floren

This afternoon, I wanted to login into my PMDG account and could not, my email address is correct and so is the password which I changed three times requesting a new password was easy and immediate, but still no luck although my password of course fulfills the required parameters. Additionally, it is impossible to make a support ticket if you dont have an account. No email link of any sort, cannot access the PMDG forum as well...!!! I own 744, 777, 737. Could anyone please pass this message to PMDG support to unlock this situation, this would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I have now flown for 3 years. No I am starting again and I was opening PMDG Operations Center. At first I had to update the Operations Center. Updated. Then I was going to the Aircraft and Liveries. There I see that my PMDG 737-600/700 NGX for FSX and PMDG 737-800/900 NGX for FSX is outdated. PMDG 737-600/700 NGX 1.10.6461 is installed 1.20.8465 is latest Button "Too old to update" PMDG 737-800/900 NGX 1.10.6461 is installed 1.20.8885 is latest Button "Too old to update" How I can update to the latest Build ? I know that it will be a while before the DC6 joins my collection of PMDG airplanes. So, I decided to build my own. 1/72 scale :-) You cannot look at it with too critical an eye, because I am not a master builder and I had to take some "artistic license" here and there. However, doing research for photos, making and printing the decals and building the kit, was an awful lot of fun. Now to continue waiting for the real thing. Roberto

After attempting to load this aircraft onto my computer for about the fourth time, it failed with the following notation.. "The activation of the fulfillment is denied by the activation policy for activation ID ................because maximum extra activations exceeded (Incident #7498-174815) " Obviously you are only allowed to load it a number of times, ( although I don't know why as I have paid for the product, why can't you install or uninstall it unlimited amounts of time) Any advice on how to unlock this restriction would be welcomed thank you.

Whenever I try to add the arrival runway fix in the 747-400 FMC, I get a "NOT IN DATA BASE" msg. I am picking the arrival runway from the legs page but that is not helping. I researched a bunch and tried the following with no use: 1- Deleted the ARPT_RWY.dat from the PMDG, then ran MakeRunways (admin) and PMDG recreated a new one fine. The file has the arrival runway in reference (OEJN) but still the problem persisted in the 744 FMC. 2- I tried entering the same plan in the FMC of the 748F and there was no problem, the FMC of the -8 accepted the arrival runway fine copying from the LEGS to the FIX page. So makes me think the problem is specific to the 744. …

Hello Avsim members! I am very confused on something called the course select, I always see in the PMDG 737 and some other addons, but I don't know what it is at all. Is it something to do with the ILS?? Could anyone tell me fully what it is, and how do I use it, and what its for? Please include pictures if you can. But sometimes I don't see the course select in some aircraft like the PMDG 777, where is it? Is this because its too modern to need one? Isn't the course select the heading or something? It sounds like it. Final Question: When landing with the ILS, do I put the heading of the runway into the Course Select? PS. Could you also tell me where do I p…

Hi all I don't know it anymore. I downloaded the latest installer of the NGXu from my account and started with an all fresh install of P3D and the 737. Then updated the airac cycle with navigraph and it shows correctly in the FMC. But when i try to fill in an airport at the pos init page (ref airport) nothing happens, not even saying "not in database". I cleaned out the NAVDATA folder already several times, also get the path out of navigraph and let it scan again..With the loading of the 737..still nothing. Also re-installed the NGXu completely, still the same problem. I don't know it anymore now.. Help please ! Marc Van Loo

so i am on a new computer trying to reinstall all my PMDG products but it says they are gonna take over 4 hours to download, they are only downloading at 86kb/s when my speed is in fact 150mb/s down and upload any idea as to why this is happening?? its only the PMDG download everything else from other sites are downloading at a very fast speed. any help would be appreciated

I recently bought the QW 787 and yes it is a beauty to look at, but the aircraft systems ( FMS, Autopilot) have a long way to go before it is on PMDG quality. When can I load up a PMDG 787 Dreamliner? I know, I know, PMDG will never tell, but nevertheless I want it now. Anyone else also want it?

I run my PMDG Ops Centre v2 and it just comes up with the Notifications page (with "you have no new notifications") but the Aircraft and Liveries as well as the Global Flight Operations are greyed out. I run always "As Administrator". This hasn't happened before. Grateful for any suggestions. Tony Causer

Hi everyone I am p3d v4.5 user with pmdg 777. I have limited IT skill. I would like to run the FMC on my Samsung S9 phone. I have tried the demo of 'virtual aviation' but it fails to connect every time. I have downloaded the demo of the aviaworx cdu but unfortunately I have not been able to get it to work-I think I have missed some steps. Can somebody please suggest something that is easy to install and it works every time. Many thanks in advance. Qas

After running the Op center told of update, message saying "Updater.exe not found". I checked in folder - confirmed this file is missing. Where can I download Opcenter v2 or missing Updater.exe

I have reinstalled my older B 747, boxed version, in the normal FSX under WIN 7. I wanted to install the 747-8 extension, download version. When I was ask for the passwords, I get the following message: "Unable to validate your license." "Please contact pmdg technical support service." I can't get any further there. In the LOG IN attempt, there is no response after entering the password. Various emails to the forum administrator remain unanswered. Resetting the password also does not work. The promised email never arrives. I do not know how to continue. Who can help? Thanks a lot. Regards Peter Timm
