I live in China, and to not offfend anyone, I can say that Internet connection here is not top quality. I am often having big problems with download center. I would like a solution where I can use a download manager of some kind to download files. I understand that there are not so many customers here, so it's not a top priority. But at least I am a good customer (look at me bragging and kiss a**) and would like an alternative. Last month it took me one month to download a livery to 777 as an example..

So i got a tiny issue. i have some PTP files But Ops center wont take them. is there a fix to them?

Hey friends of avsim forums, I have an issue, a couple of days ago, I did a update of PMDG Operations center from v 1.0 to v2.0, and now when I try to install liveries downloaded from avsim liveries in ptp format, shows up a message that livery is not installed and failed the installation, this is very annoying. With old version of Operations center I did install every single one liveries of avsim liveries for my PMDG 737NGX. What maybe is the problem? Hi guys Just making a thread about this since its been bugging me for a while now. I have been waiting for the update from 32 bit to 64 for a while now. I know that PMDG were in beta testing with the aircraft but that update came out 2 years ago now. It was apparently "nearly there" according to the developers but nothing has been released and nothing has been updated since then. Hope somebody can shed some light on this Thanks

Hi , I am running FSX Steam edition, with PMDG 747 QOS II. For weather generation, I am running Active Sky16 and Active Sky Cloud Art. When you run the FSX in x2 mode, after 15-20 minutes the flight simulator crashes and an error message appeared: AS16 cannot control ambient weather parameters correctly, thus it cannot function properly at this point and will shut down. Please make sure you have proper rights/ownership of the program files (x86) folder and have trusted/excluded AS16 from your security software, as well as the simulator's as_srv folder and included .dll modules. This is intended to be more informational than a complaint-in-nature or need for help. I have found, at least on my computer system, WHY PMDG aircraft keep disappearing from my installed library (Control Panel). I have an Alienware 51 R5, and it has with it something called "Support Assist". It helps with keeping the System clean and running at peak efficiency (supposedly). HOWEVER, one of the things it does inadvertently is remove installed PMDG aircraft from the list of installed programs. Meaning, you won't see them in the installed programs list, and PMDG Operations Center won't see them, either. Though, I can still fly with the aircraft, regardless of this unfortunat…

Hi there! I've got an interesting issue which is hard to troubleshoot. As a brief summary, I will take the time to get a flight ready, flick all the switches, start it all up, taxi to the runway, and then (once every now and then) when I begin the take off roll, my aircraft starts to feel sluggish and wont proceed beyond 50 knots, leaving me plodding along down the runway at snails pace with the engines at full bore. Now the first thing I noticed is that I've never had the issue with anything other than PMDG aircraft. Can't get on the pmdg forum site - it's all black. My 777 file in the fsx folder is corrupt so I need to re-install. I don't see an install file in the folder. How do I go about re-installing?

I haven't been using me 737 or 777 for some time. Now I wanted to download those files from PMDG again, but it became quite complicated. There's some kind of code needed for a download, they send to my E-Mail adress. But theres also a countdown of 10min. and the sent code will expire... Unfortunately the E-Mail doesn't arrive within the 10min. timeframe. I tried 3 times, and 3 times the E-Mail got here about 15-18min. after requesting the code. Don't really like that... Ralf

Hello, I have a problem. When I open FSX, I add my flight plan, choose my aircraft, and click on ''take-off'' to begin the loading screen, FSX crash instantly when the loading screen finish. I see the cockpit 1 second and then Crash. Do you have an Idea ? Is it possible to check logs / crash reports ? Thanks in advance. A.

Hey, Does anyone know what manuals are missing from 777, 747 and DC6 latest installers? Apparently one has to find the manuals online now (official support answer - oh man - trust me this is now a gray area). Boeing changed the licensing, and though there was no announcement from PMDG about this. If you have your old installers - keep them as they have all the manuals. I know 737 lost all the manuals - only comes intro and 2 tutorials. Thanks Honestly this is super annoying when spending big bucks on these addons to have this happen.

Hi, If I have to uninstall and reinstall either my 777 or 737 NGX in P3D to update these aircraft to the latest version, where do the key press assignments via the FMC get saved, and the name of the file where they are saved? Bill Clark

I am tracing some problems. I have to uninstall chaseplane from Control Panel. When I start SIM, still chaseplane (Top right corner) view screens keep coming on. How can I remove these screens ?

Just wondering if I could make one tiny request regarding the next aircraft o be developed by PMDG? I'm a father of three young children (8yrs, 5yrs & 7 months) and I work full-time. I also volunteer what little free time I have as a medic at community and sporting events in my region. Consequently, I don't have much time for FSX these days. I certainly don't have time for the kinds/lengths of flights the 747 (or even the 777) is designed for, hence the reason why I have not purchased the newest iteration of this airliner. I recently bought the 747V3 and updated the ops center as well, when I try to head to "download livery" section I received this error. I deleted everything in the ops center folder except the OC Updater.exe and tried to re-install it from there and I received the same error below when I try to head to the "download livery" section of the ops center. Sometimes after I start my computer and FSX up, and select on the Emirates PMDG 777, The wings and tail is black before the session loads, but is perfectly normal in the session. I will attatch a link for the image, but does anyone have any experience with this or suggestions to make it stop? I am switching from FSX on Windows 7 to FSX-SE on Windows 10 and all my add-ons are reinstalled except PMDG B747 legacy version. I keep getting a warning ”Unhandled Exception, Error Number 0X80070005, Access Denied” As I understand it, I should be able to install the B747 but might have some problems running it. I tried to submit a ticket but, in order to register to do that, I have to have an E-mail address different from the one I use for the store. I don't want to do that so I am wondering if anyone here has had that warning and how to deal with it. Also, I don't want to buy the new B747. If I can't make the old one work, I'll do without. First of all, the pmdg china airlines cargo repaint has the wrong font for CHINA AIRLINES The CHINA AIRLINES in China airlines cargo is wrong Correct CHINA AIRLINES font. The china airlines font used in the pmdg repaint is the one used in the new livery. But the new livery has a different blossom logo on the tail china airlines cargo with a new font and new logo Comparison So in short, the pmdg repaint has the new china airlines font with the old logo on the tail. May someone fix this?

I’ve been using the PMDG 777 for about three years now, and recently I purchased FTX Global. Now I am running into the problem of engines and the tail turning back. For example, I did a flight from Dubai to Paris, was able to land, and after five minutes from departures, the tail and engines turned black, with some parts of the wings. I know this is a common problem when running out of video memory, but many of my settings are fairly reserved. I’ll upload a picture of my settings. Any guidance here would be greatly appreciated!
