Preparing for another test flight from LGAV to WSSS I thought that you might wanted to see some of the new features included in the upcoming PDMG 747-8 expansion pack. As I also say in the video this is still under development so some features might change until the final release Enjoy 🙂

Hey Guys, I just noticed. I occasionally go to check for updates thru OC, however today when I opened my OC and when I tried to select any product it shows nothing....like I have none and I own all....No liveries, no manuals....nothing. Any idea? What I am missing? Thanks P.S. When I go to P3D and choose the vehicle, everything is there, so clearly I have them, but what happened with product in OC? I have no idea.

We finally bit the bullet today and installed the 4.2 update using the modular method that is supposed to work and leave everything in place... (Client, content and scenery). Get the feeling perhaps I should have only installed the client as now my pmdg aircraft aren't working. They're missing when I open P3D, however all the PMDG folders/files seem to still exist. In the Ops Centre I get the message "Please note: You have installed a version of this PMDG product..." etc as if it's pointing at the 4.1 version still and can't find It???? Anyone got any ideas/assistance? Edit: I tried both installers using repair option and still no luck... - Paul S…

To: PMDG Team, I recently returned from my 5th deployment to the Middle East. Currently, I am stationed in Fort Eustis VA, which for me has one benefit and that is its proximity to the Washington D.C. area. However, there is a strong chance that I could be moving to a new duty station within the next year. I recall back in June of 2015, Robert Randazzo was giving a speech at Flight Sim Con about the DC-6 and 747 but more importantly, a sim center you all were developing. Please see the video file time stamp 25:35 below. Is this still in development or did it fall through, as I don't recall hearing much about this for the last couple of years. It can be dif…

Captains, On Saturday afternoon, 09JUN18, PMDG will be presenting at FlightSim Expo 2018. We are a bit more than seven weeks out, but I wanted to make a specific mention of the show, and specifically of our presentation at the show, because it is going to be unlike anything PMDG has ever done before, and we think it will be unlike anything you have ever seen at an event related to simming. At previous events, I have stuck to the script of giving a review of where we are and where we are headed along with a bit of Question & Answer tacked on the end. Sure, we will do all of that, but it will take up only a minimal amount of time in the larger scale of …

Guys, Anything obvious how 748 will be launched. From the beginning of development it was clear that -8 comes as add-on to the 747-400. Robert stated during FSEXPO presentation this aircraft has nothing in common with the 744 either the hump. Myself is interessted in 747-8 only and I would like to know if the new product is launched as standalone version. Any knowledge out there? Andreas

I read the 777 Intro manual and found the service based failures to be quite a cool feature. I do have a question, however. Quoting Page 108 of the Intro Manual Does this mean that over time you'll notice oil/hydraulic levels slowly decreasing? Or is it more of a sudden failure with no indication leading up to the danger? I'm really intrigued by this.

As with the direction of many other industries, I assume you're making a push into a more stable revenue stream through monthly subscription pricing with things like the Global Flight Operations, vs what I presume is currently very cyclical revenue correlated with airplane releases. Rent me my airplane too. Don't make me fork over $130 if I'm only interested in testing one of your products or flying one of your planes just a handful of times. I'd happily fork over a couple of bucks to go up in a 747 on global ops. Call it whatever you want to add to the immersion. Tell me I'm paying for fuel.

Hi Guys, I am super excited for the 747-8 expansion and for GFO (that's another forum post) both game changers! I noticed Robert mentioned at the Expo and on the recent XPLANE post that the P3D/FSX version of the 747-8 was in Beta, is this the case officially? Normally there is an official forum post about it. Thanks Duncan Odgers

Hey guys, It looks like we are not getting a dynamic lighting update this time around. It sucks for those who cant fly at night because of this. Hopefully in 4.2 we might see something. Until then use lower AA settings if you can.

Have I missed something? Am I a lone voice in the wilderness, being one of the 99.99% of PMDG customers who was unable to be at the show in Las Vegas, who would love to hear first hand from PMDG, as set out in the show's agenda of speakers: "Development Update and World Premier of PMDG’s Secret Project PMDG Simulations (PMDG) is one of the market’s best known add-on developers, with products for FSX, Prepar3D and X-Plane. PMDG’s Founder, Robert S. Randazzo will update the community on PMDG’s development agenda and future priorities. The session will feature the unveiling of a new PMDG product line that has been in planning and development since 2008 but nev…

For those who are enjoying the VR (mind blowing) experience, the following VC eyepoints are correct per FCOM: 744 [Views] eyepoint = 78.972, -1.745, 16.1282 777-200LR [Views] eyepoint = 80.029, -1.825, 7.7540 777-300ER [Views] eyepoint = 96.344, -1.825, 7.7540 3D rendering of the VC allows the eyepoint to be set per FCOM without the yoke blocking the view of the main instrument panel or the need to set the eyepoint to capture enough of the the main flight instruments in the forward view projected on a 2D monitor.

Could you land with no forward visibility? Take a look at AA-1897 which diverted after a massive hail storm shattered the front windshields on the flight deck (and did quite a number on the radome cover as well). It appears the safety glass didn't break into the flight deck but the spidering made it impossible to see anything using the forward windows. Is there any way to simulate total obscuration of the forward windscreens on a PMDG aircraft? That would be an interesting challenge if it could be added to the Failure scenarios!

Hello PMDG team, today I wanted to buy the 737NGX base package for Prepar3d but fail to do so. I am looged into my account, put the item I want to buy into the shopping card and click "checkout". Everytime I do that, my shopping cart is emptied automatically and I cannot make the purchase. Message: "Your cart is empty. Continue Shopping" I tried Chrome and Firefox, all up to date and latest version. I also tried private mode (without cookies and empty cache). Nothing helped, I cannot make the purchase. Please let me know if it is a problem from your side, or if I can do anything about it. I finally want to fly the 737 in Prepar3d again. I had it f…

Once the aircraft is at cruise and the flight deck speakers are on and tuned. What is the FO and Second Officer doing (assuming the CAPT leaves the flight deck)? What are they required to check and what is the frequency? Do airlines specifically state that every *insert minute* the crew is required to scan all EICAS synoptics and verify fuel with FMC, and etc? Is their a RW airline procedure or checklist that they use? Disclaimer I am not a RW pilot and the googles bring back no results. Ash Keelson,
