Hi Guys. I know this isn’t really a PMDG related question but hoping one our knowledgeable people in the community can help. If I’m on Radar Vectors from ATC and they ask me to descend below the SSA for the particular area I’m in, would a pilot in the real world query the instruction or follow it believing ATC know where they are directing you and would be clear of any obstacles? Hello, I heard somewhere there was a free upgrade for P3D V4, but I was wondering if you could go straight from FSX:SE to P4D or P3D to P4D. Would I have to buy the Prepar3d license first, or can I upgrade my FSX License? Thanks, -Joe

When go to PMDG help site I cannot log in as an existing customer, but I can log into the one on the right to get past order codes etc. I am looking to get the update for the 300. The PMDG operation center say I have download a new version fro the store, cannot log into Store??? Thanks for any help. Denis P Bolduc

I had PMDG Boing 373 runing fine in my P3D v4.1, windows 10. I had a problem with my disk and bought a new one, installed again P3D v4.2, the new2 one and most of my olders add on, but when I try to install this aircraft, the program request authorization to install, I tick yes, but does nothing. I tried several times and the same, I dowmloaded again a new one and happens the same. Can you please help me, thanks very mucho for your replies Rubén

Haven't seen this posted other than on your Facebook page but I have to say I think this is a good plan for the company and I'm not sure why it's taken as long for this to happen. Being part of another company's network and having to abide by their rules, as a former forum admin in a similar position, is never easy to be as open and as frank as you, or your customers, need to be. This is a small guide here to all users who wish to install the PMDG 777 aircraft into Steam Edition after formatting the hard drive. This installation guide is only for people who are wishing to only use the FSX Steam edition. First install FSX Steam Edition. After installation is complete, you need a few things to install. With DTG announcing Flight Sim World's early access release later this month, FSX is officially going to become more obsolete than it already is. So, for nervous people like me who have a lot of money sunk into FSX and are anxiously watching, the big question is: what add-on's will be developed for FSW and how much are we going to have to re-spend to upgrade? Hi Guys, Any help on the following would be appreciated! 1, When I advance the throttles on any PMDG model the power increases ok but the engine indication needles are very jumpy and twitchy, In the past they have advanced very smoothly so I assume its something with my settings but so far unable to find the setting that would control this. 2, Also on the jumpy theme on the 747 the numerals on the MCP which should "jiggle" a little like on the real aircraft no longer do and dial up smoothly as per the 777, again this is a recent development as they used to do this, not sure if this was something that broke in the 4.2 update or again is my settings. Don't hit me up too hard for not being a file library sleuth, but can someone help me find a 737-800 (ngx) livery (paint scheme) - The USAirways dark blue paint scheme (photo below) I saw one in the library (and internet search) a while back but I can't find it anymore. I remember the one that was in the library the font on the fuselage looked too big, but it was all that was available. The other USAirways scheme that is out there in the file library is the white scheme - although it looks great I am only interested in the dark blue scheme. I spent the entire afternoon yesterday prepping for a flight down to Sydney only ti wake up in the morning to find that "P3D has stopped WORKING" thus I pulled this from my event viewer. Have I've been the only one who's been receiving this issue lately its happened like 3 times! Hi guys I flew on a 737 yesterday in a cockpit.I've noticed that pilots are pushing thoose button's rather aggressively as well thoose on the overhead.Is there reason for this?Are Boeings switches so robust that they need do to so.I didn't asked them maybe i could offend them.Maybe someone who flew on real or simulator Boeing plane can answer. I am ashamed to say that I have never attempted an RNAV approach. Without being able to tune nav radios, I feel that I am failing to understand important flying practices. Searching online, so far, has not produced any solution for me. Can anyone tell me what I need to do to make a successful RNAV approach? Hints are most welcome.

Hi all, I seem to be having issues importing multiple liveries from a single PTP file. I know I used to be able to do it, becuase I used this in the past to keep my liveries and states between reinstalls. However if I try it now, I get a popup telling me to select which I want to install. I can't multiselect, and if I select one, nothing happens. Looks like this: ) Can someone else try to see if you have the same? You can export multiple liveries in single .ptp by holding Ctrl while selecting liveries in manager.

Has avsim ditched the edit function? I‘m just at the mobile right now but can‘t edit my typos and content anymore... now I have to think first and write last which makes it even more confusing

Hello All, I am after my next study level Aircraft for v4, having felt i've mastered the Q400. I am very keen on the NGX however if it is being rebooted to V3, I am assuming once released I will need to purchase again? Also considering the Maddog and to a lessor extent the TFDI 717. Any input or speculation regarding the NGX reboot will be greatly appreciated. Regards, James Archbold.

Found this tutorial video in which a real-world pilot is using the PMDG NGX to explain a bit about winter operations. Very revealing.. To be quite honest, this was a bit of an eye opener for me. Never really took the time to read the Supplementary Procedures about this, but it's all there (SP 16.1, see the PMDG documentation) funny enough...somehow the word Ray-Ban is not to be found in the Boeing documents...while hugely important I think, to not being blinded by the bright white snow and low hanging sun in the winter...

Will the 737 ng3 also be for X-PLANE? I'm still with FSX. Very soon I would like to switch to 64 bit.

I've just bought the PMDG B737 NGX, tried to get it to install onto FSX but it says I am running an old version, and it needs to be updated. I've uninstalled and re-installed the FSX program but still the PMDG will not allow the wizard to install it. What can I do?
