Hi , I'm just wondering if anyone else has this weird texture with Virgin Australia 737 just behind the satcom, it only seems to this aircraft, texture downloaded through PMDG Operations centre a couple of times, I'm using P.T.A Tweak but pretty sure that's not causing it because not other livery shows it, just curious. I'm a long time PMDG Customer who is just getting back into Siming after a long hiatus. My very first PMDG Product was the 747 back in 2005. Up until 2012, when I lost my spouse to cancer, I had purchased and enjoyed every PMDG aircraft, every 747 addon, MD-11, 737, 1900, JS41 etc. Coming back I purchased a new rig, Oculus and Prepar3d. And of course my first commercial addon was the 747 Qos II. I'm having a blast with this aircraft especially in VR. It feels like a long lost friendship renewed. I truly appreciate the attention to detail and the depth of modeling that PDMG has put into this aircraft and their continued dedication to accuracy and realism. I'm looking forwa…

Quick observation: The only aircraft I use are the PMDG 737, 747, and 777, pretty much on a fixed rotation and very often. My add-ons are ActiveSky, UTL, GSX, and lots of scenery products from the big developers. Since version P3Dv4.2 was released, I have experienced no random CTDs. Just an observation, but I hope everyone else is seeing more stability with this fairly recent release.

Hi all, if you look up the Eurocontrol site for the descent rates of a B737-800, you will find: 1. initial descent to FL240: 800fpm / MACH 0.78 2. descent to FL100: 3500fpm / IAS 280kt 3. approach: 1500fpm / IAS 250kt https://contentzone.eurocontrol.int/aircraftperformance/details.aspx?ICAO=B738 Do you think these are realistic data? That's amazing... I had a 21'' monitor in 16:9 for my sim view and a 4:3 smaller monitor for my charts and so on. it was fine. Now, as I don't watch TV anyway, I took my TV (39'') and connected it via HDMI. I'm sitting in my 747 right in front of the TV and really FEEL like looking down to that GSX-guy walking to my front wheel to connect the tow bar. that immersion is impressive!! I'm so looking forward to my purchase of a 4k TV/monitor. holy mary... And my sim performance (P3Dv4) is even better now! The frames have increased and it's still running fluently..Funny times ahead :D

Captains, At approximately 0330Z/21APR18, we were able to resolve the outstanding issue with our activation server, and bring it back online. I am very sorry to those who had their activation process disrupted all day Friday, but I am happy to report that the problem was located and resolved. Thank you for your patience as we worked through the process.

[MOD NOTE: additional information removed due to AVSIM policies], 2 day ago I reinstalled my complete System. But could not activate my 747. It comes a Error Message "The activation of the fulfillment is denied by the activation...." I wrote a message to PMDG but became no anwser. Now I hope somebody here can help me

In the future are there any plans for a 787? Your current aircraft are wonderful and they are all I fly but a 787 would complete the package! Thanks, Brent Kolar

Got a rather odd one here for y'all.... So, the other day I had a flight going in the 772LR. I'm at cruise alt, everything is going fine. I fire up World of Warships (and YES I've reached out to them about this, they said "We suggest to communicate with the support dedicated to the game you are having issues with"), and I'm mid-game when all of a sudden I hear "Ten Thousand Feet", which I should NOT be hearing. I switch over (I'd already gotten sunk at that point), and sure enough I'm in a high-speed, steep dive. LONG story short, for some reason the 747 and 777 end up doing a roller-coaster flight path, which shouldn't be happening as WoWs (PER their tech support…

A couple of time I do not receive an ILS signal, even when close to an airport. I use the frequency given in the Approach page of the FMS. I have the "nearly" latest version of NavData ( I am waiting for the next version at end of month ). Any ideas ?

When the aircraft are booted up in FSX, everything seems okay except no data in any of the operating screens. PFD MFD etc. is this an uninstall reinstall situation or just me being dumb? I recently reinstalled everything due to W10 issue resulting in wiping operating system, so everything has had to be redone. I feel like I have had this issue in the distant past but can't remember the fix Any help? Thanks John

I’m going off to college next year and having a desktop in a dorm room is not looking feasible. I’d hate to give up flight simming (I’ll be a lot busier but I bet I can squeeze a couple of good flights in a month) and I was wondering if there was a laptop out there that can run P3Dv4 with PMDG, ASP4, and Rex4 Textures at a decent frame rate (like 30 FPS minimum, on the ground). I don’t plan on getting scenery...I’m assuming that would push any laptop past what it can handle. Any suggestions?

Hey! I am tempted to buy Oculus Rift. Is anyone already using this equipment with the B744? I guesses there will be trouble finding the accurate command keys on the keyboard. On my Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog, I can find all the command buttons I need, even if I do not see them. I do not know a sh-t about Oculus Rift. I start my survey of Oculus Rift in this forum because I know that there are many competent people here.

Good afternoon, I just ordered and recieved a new SSD. I am uninstalling everything off the current drive to put on the new one. Do I need to unregister the product to just put it on a new drive, or is that only when getting a new computer? Thanks in advance.

Hello Is it possible to operate PMDG aircraft with a touchscreen monitor? I am interested in a TouchScreen monitor 28" 4K but it appears these specifications are not possible, is this correct? Clive Alexander

I'm registered with PMDG under the old password system where all you needed was a User Name and a Password...both of which I have. Under the new system, PMDG wants to send me a code by email through which to reset my password. Unfortunately they don't appear to have my email address on file. How can I login without having to create a new account?

A lot of speculation about PMDG forthcoming releases at the moment but Wow! this looks like pretty good if they do it ;-) Information pretty vague at the moment but apparently it will be rolled out on all current fleet. Kyle, confirm?

After logging in and after adding the 777 for FSX to the cart and trying to checkout I get a "cart empty" message. Tried this with Firefox 45 ESR and the latest Google Chrome all on Windows XP 32-bit. Cache, cookies all set to on and have tried multiple times but still get the "cart empty" message.

I have several monitors on my PC and using PMDG airplanes mostly. I have undocked and set up all MIP displays on my second and third monitor to my preference. Then I have saved this setup via P3Dv4 scenario page. I can load this setup from the P3Dv4's scenario page and windows come up correctly. That is fine. But, how can I have this setup and start a flight with another livery and from another starting point(airport, gate) than the one that is saved as above? Do I really need to have one setup for each airplane livery and start locationto get it working? I would like to just load any livery with my default screens/windows setup from any lo…
