In preparation for the 748, I want to deepen my knowledge of the FMC functionalities. On the already posted images of the 748, the FMC looks very similar to the 777 in terms of layout. Does that also apply to its (FMC) functionality, or does the FMC operate more like the FMC of the 744?

Hello, Are there any updates on when PMDG is getting their own forum and what platform will be used?

Any chance PMDG might implement a "Reposition" feature similar to that in the Quality Wings 787? The 747 and 777 are largely intended for long routes, and such a feature would avoid extended periods of time with the sim accelerated and waiting for TOD near the destination.

Does anyone here have the payware for this ? I have the free beta from way back and have the 737Ng (the only jet i have ) programmed with 9 Goflight modules . I would like to maybe get the payware verison to be able to program the Aerosoft Twin Extended buy the 777 from here and program it but all this stuff is supposed to be easy but never is .Would like to hear some comments and if i do get it can ask here for some help ---Was at the Vegas conference couple weeks ago and should of looked into it over there .

After a great 1 hour my PMDG 747 crashed before landing and prepar3d V4 shut down . Since the screenshot NDA is lifted (according to FSElite), can someone please post a screenshot regarding how CPDLC/ACARS will work in PMDG products? In Aerowinx PSX you can actually talk to yourself on CPDLC via the instructor's station, and it also has some form of random control, with varying levels of restrictiveness. It's a very nice option for those who doesn't want to go online and perhaps subscribe to paid ATC services like PilotEdge. Here's a pic of how it works on the Aerowinx version:

Hello everyone, my name is Cris from Switzerland. Sorry but I do not speak English very well. I bought a commander side structure and I have to insert the various navigation screens in the monitors. Normally with the mouse I open for example the navigation monitor that appears larger, I can move inside the screen but I can not drag it to put it in another screen. I have to undock it and then move it. My questions are: if I undock the 4 screens of 737, how can I not lower the frames? is there an alternative program or system? thank you all, have a nice day. cris

Hi there, So I'm trying to activate the 737 and 777 but it won't let me saying that it can't connect with the activation server. I did check my internet, and I have no anti virus on. Curiously I tried to submit a support ticket but I get this ---> I'm hoping I'm not getting memed by you guys and your servers just went belly up? Thanks.

Good morning all, I am about to format my PC and start afresh. I have added a new 1TB SSD on which I will install P3D. I own the PMDG 737, 777 and the 747. So here are some questions to all the experts: 1) Do I need to deactivate my PMDG aircraft before formatting? 2) Do I need to uninstall and deactivate my P3Dv4 license before formatting? Since I installed P3D 4.3 all my PMDG aircraft NGX737, 747, 777, in the choose vehicle menu and when loaded I can see all the seats, in the outside view through the outer skin of the aircraft. All was fine with P3D V4.2. Help

I know this isn't a pmdg thing, but does anybody know how to fix the view on P3D v4.3, It looks to far head and would usually press backspace to bring the view back to its normal state Peter Smeal

So there I was laying in bed, bored. I figured why not browse the app store while I'm updating My apps? So over to search I went and low and behold, a search revealed Checklists for the 737, 747, and 777. The price was perfect (FREE), so I got all three. There's also one for the A320, but we all know PMDG doesn't produce crap aircraft 😉 I don't know IF they're available for android or not, but hey if someone wants to check..... They're by a Lukas Musial.

hello I installed the airacs of July, but only in PMDG planes when I put GOBD, he told me not in database .. when I look at the airport file in the root P3D / PMDG there is good .. Can to help me? thank you

Hello! As I switched to P3D I wanted to buy the 737 base pack for it. But everytime I clicked checkout via paypal and so on I was directed from paypal instantly to an empty Shopping cart on PMDG. Hope I dont have to pay twice for nothing now, cause I tried two times. After this I created a ticket on the pmdg site for the Problem. This worked, but afterwards the support link is not reachable... Also I dont recieved any mails about a status of ticket. But I dont know if PMDG uses such emails.

Hello all I would like some advice please on using PMDG aircraft in VR. I have Orbx everywhere at the moment and performance is pretty smooth outside VR but stuttering inside. I have quiet powerful co outer but I guess none of the add ins were ever designed for VR. Anyway, any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Neil

Hi All, I am moving onto a new rig (mines over 7 years old now so a little long in the tooth!) Just a quick question about anything I need to know license wise before I make the move? Is there any specific procedure I need to follow to allow my PMDG aircraft to be moved across? I know with P3D I will need to deactivate the license before reinstalling it on the new system. As a side note, I currently do have an issue with a windows update which seems to have broken my PMDG aircraft again, I was holding off raising a ticket as I think there's little point if I am going to move everything across.
