Hi Just wondering what PMDG thought about the idea of reselling the legacy editions but at a cut down no support price? maybe about £15-25 quid etc ..... i have the two for FS9 and really enjoy them, i don't think my PC would be-able to handle the newer 747-777s in FSX but im sure it would be-able to handle the MD11 and original 747 so would love to buy these if i could, i am sure others would at least like the MD11 and you would be-able to make a little extra money as well. hello everyone I have a question. It has expiration date if I buy the P3D And PMDG products and I decide to install them within 6 months. or 1 a year or 2 years while I buy my new pc I wait for answers and thank you very much for answering

Due to an issue with my ops center and my PC it has never worked and have worked with pmdg to fix it to no avail. Is it possible to update my products by uninstalling, redownloading the entire product and the reinstalling it? Herman G Gerhardt

I’m looking into getting a P3D airplane and I want it to be a PMDG aircraft. I would like a recommendation, I’m willing to pay the price. My go to is the 777-200LRF, if I do this, is the -300ER worth it as well? Regards, Cydney

Hello. I am totally new in here. But i have this issue: I just bought the 737 expansion , and i do already own the base package of course. Every time i try to install it, it says that i have to update the 737-800/900 base package before installing the expansion.. So i went into the Operation center, and updated the 737-800/900... So here comes the problem. The 737 expansion installer keeps saying that i have to update the base package, and every time i go into the Operation center again, it keeps saying that i have 1 notefication, wich is the update for the base package, and i have updated it for like 10 times! I hope you guys can help me!

I recall reading a thread a while ago about putting our experience with PMDG aircraft to the test in a Level D simulator. The OP mentioned a Boeing 777 Level D full motion sim down in Miami. I happen to be headed down to Miami this summer, and I figured it would be an opportunity not to miss. However, after hours (literally) of google searches, I can not find anything of the such. I only managed to come across the Boeing Training & Flight Services Miami facility, which seemed to only be for real pilot training, not an aviation enthusiast looking to spend a couple hours in a Level D sim. Hi all Using PMDG 737 NGX, after a nice flight, was just getting ready to land at Stansted and one of the engines cut out from low oil pressure, within minutes the second engine too, same low pressure warning. Due to no power, could not control the plane much so landed in a field. After a 2 hour flight, this is very frustrating, never has this issue before. Looking online, looks like other users have had the same issue wiith PMDG. What I did to get power again was go into FCDU and select state panel that was set on short flight same as always. Does anyone have any advice on this please? Was not amused, especially as fly with FSPassengers. Thanks

This is a reminder to all. I recently converted from FSX to P3Dv4 because of program failures when using more complex aircraft like PMDG (out of memory errors). I found out I could not just reload FSX PMDG A/C but had to re-purchase at full price. Everything went OK until I came to the PMDG 600/700 version. I opened the P3Dv4 web page and assumed the download would be P3Dv4 files. I was undoubtedly careless and did not carefully read the directions so I downloaded the FSX version assuming it was P3D. My addons use the dll.xml in my userdata folder. PMDG and Raas do not and I'd like to move the entries to my dll.xml could I do that? - David Lee

What are the standard procedures/limitations to build a flight plan route with a mix of direct waypoints and airways ? (IFR flight planning only) How to know if the direct waypoints are valid ? (dont consider CMFU validation or i have to? ,ex min FL-max FL to fly etc) I see many flight plans (flight aware) are a mix of direct waypoints and airways. From vatsim i came across with this : In IFR flights there are few occasions when to fly direct instead of using airways. These situations can be: 1) when the distance is too short as to join an airway or 2) when the SID and STAR fix is the same or 3) when offered as a shortcut by ATC while enroute. dont care about 3…

Hi guys, Finally blew my lid at FSX OOM errors and took the plunge and got P3dv4 and have migrated all my orbx and most of my airports to it, however i have my beloved pmdg 777 200lr and the 300 expansion pack. Would it be possible to transfer my license key from my FSX version to a p3d version, i know this sounds silly but I would really like to be able to migrate it to p3d. Thanks.

Hi all not sure why but the keyboard keeps freezing intermittently when I fly with the PMDG. It works fine most of the time but occasionally it freezes and I have no control, the SIM is still working and everything but just no keyboard controls. I see forums search with this issue below, so not sure why.

I haven't seen any new news for a long time. I wonder how far the 747-8 has been developed. When will it be released?

Hello fellow simmers. What is the difference between EDTO and ETOPS operations? I have searched the net few times in the past but i did not fully understand. from pprune forum : - ETOPS in EASA is not the same as ETOPS in the states or EDTO for the Aussies. in EU land ETOPS is for twins. - EDTO applies to all aircraft. ETOPS twins only - EDTO less restrictive for the operator. (Not as generous as ETOPS eg weather window duration, min FFS required) All that correct?

Hi all, For all of you lurking around the internet if the update breaks stuff: I did a 6 hrs. flight today with the NGX and had no issues with several addons (FS2crew, scenery, the NGX itself etc.). So it seems to be safe to let windows update automatically or in case you didn't notice it to update - don't panic. But if somebody finds something don't guillotine my head off.

I know its been stated previously that the JS41 will be converted for use within the P3D platform as some stage in the future, so please don't redirect me to previous posts. However business considerations change all the time and I understand priorities change within the PMDG development cycle. My question - is the JS41 'currently' still on course for transition to the P3D platform and latterly P3Dv4. My sole reason for keeping FSX on my hard drive is to fly the great JS41, if the JS moves over to P3D then sadly its good bye FSX.

Hello I am a very satisfied user of FS2004 (FS9.1) and I use it since several years because I have a lot of add on (airports , aircrafts) I do not see realy the need to upgrade to FSX but now I am thinking to buy some new add of of PMDG software I see all the product SW available from PMDG are developed for FSX only Is it possible to install for FS2004 user too or the add on will not work? Captains, This morning we awoke to news that Dovetail Games has taken the long expected step of pulling the plug on Flightsim World, their hard-scrabble effort to re-invigorate the flight simulation genre abandoned by Microsoft. I don't think anyone in the developer community is particularly surprised by this news, except perhaps that it took as long as it did for the inevitable to sink in. Dear PMDG, I am a great fan of your work since your planes are very detailes and i love this but is there the Chance that you could create the Airbus A350? I now this plane is very complex but i am sure that you would be able to create this. Another question was your opinion about the 737 max and if we could expect it from your side. I fly the B738 and 9 in P3DV4, and I was looking to see if it was possible to fly different airlines but maintain the same timers for the failures so I wasn't starting again from zero. I noticed the folder "D:\P3D V4\PMDG\PMDG 737 NGX\Aircraft" where the aircraft .ini files are. In the files I noticed 2 sections of timers; [Failure Groups] Active=1 Run Timer.0=243518.359375 (etc) [Failure Items] Run Timer.0=243518.359375 10931914.000000 (etc) Is it possible to move these 2 sections between the different .ini aircraft files? I know how complex these PMDG aircraft are so I'm reluctant to test it in case something becomes corrupt.
