Two pretty good looking sceneries on flightsim.to that make use of a VDGS Visual System Guidance System into parking bays. I fly mostly IFR low altitude airways making a flight plan in the world map that usually includes the RNAV runway at the end I want to use. The problem I'm having is after landing and exiting the runway I ask ATC for Taxi to Parking. Almost all the time lately ATC replies with a Taxi to Fuel instruction. There is no way to change this instruction once ATC gives it with my only option left in the ATC window being Ground Services. If I click that then my only option back out is clearance. I'm landing at mid size airports (KSAV, KMOB, KABY, KGNV, etc.) with plenty of open parking so I do not understand what's going on. I'm flying the EMB-110 freight version. I know…

Hey folks, I have a weird issue in the SU8 beta, I am not sure if this is a bug or is just some configuration issue from my end. Normally in the built-in replay tool, when I click on "Record Camera Track", this will let you change the views in the cockpit like how normally you do while playing the replay and the camera just moves with the plane. Now however, when I click on "Record Camera Track", this will make the camera fixed on some spot and is no longer moving with the plane. I have tried to play around with various camera settings and none has rectified the issue. Do you folks have a similar issue? Thanks,

Simple GA is, for me anyway, what MSFS is the best with. Nothing any more complicated than an early morning flight, flown in real time with real weather (fingers crossed it works!) and just going from Point A to Point B (via points C, D, E, H, V, X and a quick stop for a sun hat somewhere in between). Love that. Absolutely loving the uncomplicated SA Bulldog, Piaggio FW149 and Grob Tutor for these flights. All three of these aircraft are straightforward with (relatively) basic instrumentation and bounce and yaw around in the air like you'd expect from something of that size. Which makes me wonder: what other simple GA gems are out there? What's your favour…

Are there any bizjets coming other than the Honda Jet? I only sim for the business jets but don't want an P3D port. Any info is appreciated. ns

Either with the default aircraft of ideally with A320NX - is it possible to land using RNAV? Shouldn't the A320 guide you down?

As the title suggests, live weather for me hasn't worked for almost three days now. I've restarted, updated, blah blah blah and nothing works. I purchased REX weather force, but to be honest, I'd rather fly with presets because of the FPS hits and hard hitting changes that will completely change your flight plan. Has anyone else noticed live weather being down?

The latest version (0.28) is getting on my nerves. It keeps asking to be updated. I might stop using it if I can't disable updates. Anyone else having issues updating?

After updating Nvidia driver I noticed now that when flaps are set, every time I move the throttle the flaps move to the full retracted position. This occurs regardless of what airplane I am flying. I have remapped both flaps and throttles but the problem still persists. I am assuming that the Nvidia driver update has something to do with it, but before I rollback the driver was wondering if anyone might have any other ideas as to how to fix the problem. Can't believe I just saw this and I have no idea when it first appeared, but it absolutely works whether you are taxiing to your departure threshold or arrival gate, and it's very simple and right where you would think it should be! It implies there is no longer a need to stop the sim and go the Assistance menu to turn on the taxi ribbon under Navigation Aids. Here's where it's done. The only slightly unfortunate part, and I say slightly because you can avoid it, is they linked the Taxi Guide (aka, Taxi Ribbon) with the Landing Guide in the on/off slider, rather than separating them into two slider switches. Love this plane. And sim, live weather is now amazing. We had a pretty intense snow storm here in New England yesterday. But I flew KPWM to KPSM in real time WX anyway. Picked up a bunch of ice on climb out and descent. But the deicing worked fine and the windshield heat kept the view such as it was clear. I just spotted the rabbit lights at 200 AGL and made a nice landing in the somewhat gusty snow storm. This felt so real. I use AirManager for instruments. This and my 4 screen make the cockpit seem real. I use Navigraph on the upper left and VFR map upper right, with instruments on the touch screen below main screens. And a lot of hardware to c…

I have been flying mostly in the West USA using PilotEdge ATC. However, I want to explore the world a bit more now with ATC, so would like to start a thread discussing what ATC programs are available to MSFS. The recent thread discussing FS ATC Chatter was interesting, and as I understand it, that program works with Pilot2ATC. I know of PF3, but never used it. Which ATC program will overall give the best immersion and ATC accuracy?

Got a new build (12700/3070/36 gb 3600) working last week, which I am beyond thrilled with, and am slowly upping my settings from my last system (6700/1070Ti/32) which were decent, a combination of ultra, high and a few medium. I had been running render scale at 100 and LOD at 200. After upping several settings to ultra (clouds are glorious!, texture synthesis, etc) I’m now at render scale of 110 and LOD at 325. I still have a nice chunk of headroom for more increases on these settings and curious what you guys are seeing as the “sweet spot.” Appreciate any suggestions.

Just picked this up from Orbx (it’s also available on their own site), and I have to say it’s an absolute belter of an airport, really high quality. Coff’s Was my first ever addon from Orbx so it always had a special place for me, and at first I was disappointed they weren’t doing it (partly because theirs also had some custom buildings in the town), but Impulse’s overall quality is beyond. I came in for a landing at Donegal earlier, and all was going according to plan. I was instructed to come straight in on runway#. So, on final approach, and probably only a quarter of a mile out, and close enough to smell the tarmac, I got the instruction to “go around”. I couldn’t see a reason why, there was no aircraft on the ground, and nobody particularly close. So, I decided to play the game and went around. As I was on the downwind leg, I did see another plane setting up for landing, but he/she was at least 4 miles out. I have been granted permission, and instruction, to land a few times this week, and received the “go around” message just as I’m within touch…

There have been a few threads about stutters / fps drop in long flights, and I posted at a couple reporting that my longest flights always ended flawlessly in as far as FPS or stutters go, but !... In the last flights, all in the FBW A320 NEO - Experimental version, while the FPS stay put at 30 FPS ( as set in my in-game graphics options ) I started noticing the PFD and ND refreshing in a "stuttery way". I enabled "Dev Mode" and checked / re-checked the ratings and all were good, but those displays were really slow and jumpy. I am running MFS in Full Screen, and alternating to desktop and oppening a browser ( Firefox in my case ), restores the display smoothness…
