Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

Every time I try to start up at KBUR when I try to zoom to details on the map MSFS crashes and shuts down. This has happened with several different aircraft. The only add on scenery I have is ORBX KSBA. I haven't tried deactivating all add ons and using a stock aircraft yet but I will. Has anyone else had this problem?

With all the hype going on, who do u think will be the first big release coming out ?? PMDG Maddog or BAE146 Place your thoughts.

I keep getting a message about the bandwidth being too low - OOKLA says it is more than 400Mb/sec Why does this message occur? Why does the message stall Flight Sim for 10 to 30-seconds when the mouse icon disappears from the screen and clicking on the message or anywhere else does nothing? During that time CPU & GPU usage drops below 10%. Problem started today, August 13. Does it have anything to do with Microsoft Windows Update 21H, which I installed this morning?

Hello, as of late I've been having a lot of FPS issues in the New York City Area. I know that NYC can be a bit demanding but I used to get FPS at least in the 30 range and now I'm seeing 15 or so FPS regularly, even taking off from KCDW that is not right in the heart of things. FPS increases as I depart the NYC area. I'm assuming this must be an addon causing some sort of issue, so I'm curious if anyone has come across anything particularly rough on FPS in the NYC area? I have a bunch of airports plus Sam Scene New York City that I can go and disable one by one to see if there's an improvement but thought I'd check first if anyone has has come across a culprit. I…

I have tried for days to get AIG traffic working in MSFS without success. I have my AIG Traffic Manage in the F Drive fully loaded and set up to connect to my main sim C Drive Community Folder where I have two folders (aig-aitraffic-oci-beta and aig-aitraffic-oci-beta-CVL, not sure what the CVL does). Basically the only time I can get any traffic showing at all is when I have the MSFS slider for Ground Traffic Density on at around 50%. No matter what I put in the AI Traffic slider no flights ever appear. Obviously I must be doing something wrong but I can't figure what. I have AIG working perfectly in P3D. I have tried the AIG Forum but nothing …

The music on my install has changed, it has certainly become more prevalent, and I think it is using the music from Flight (don't have that installed on this computer so can't check.) Has anyone else noticed changes to the music?

Hi, need some help understanding what Im doing on a new approach. I have a Navigraph subscription and I departed Sacramento to Boise. At the start Simbrief has me landing on 10L at Boise, I had all that entered on my FMC, then the runway was changed to 28R when it was close to the airport...So I changed to 28R on the FMC but the transition ATC wanted me to follow was not available. What is the procedure for this? Do I add the transition as a direct location and fly towards it? Thanks Bill

I read elsewhere that the AH Electra 10-A is coming to MSFS 'real soon'. The same site published AH MSFS DC-3 preview shots on January 28th, 2021 & they looked pretty good & I thought/hoped release was not too far away. I'm not sure if the Electra jumped the queue, but maybe someone from AH can give an update on the DC-3 release status? T45

I haven't flown at night alot but recently have noticed with SU8 that street lites look great especially in the countryside and small towns. Great improvement. ns

I don't mean camera share (sorry if it's called something else, I don't have the sim open at the moment) in the options, which I have already turned off. But the effect where the whole cockpit jiggers about slightly (I presume to simulate turbulence). It can make it rather tricky to click on small buttons and turn knobs.

Hi folks, For an unknown reason, my Kodiak's Firewall fuel shutoff lever moves on its own during flights and thus shuts down the engine. I've reinstalled the Kodiak, emptied my Community folder and double-checked that no key is assigned for this lever, to no avail. Any help would be very much appreciated! Thanks.

Hi, is the database for MSFS old or is Simbrief old...for example Simbrief was telling that landing in Sacramento I would expect runway 16R, yet when in the FBW there was choices of 17L or 17R no 16 runways. I have also noticed this at many other airports where runway numbers were off.
