Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

I went looking for my C-172 G-1000; it has turned up missing in the sim, and so I tried to open Content Manager to see if it's loaded. My Content Manager just sits there, greyed out with the white circle spinning. I went looking for my C-172 G-1000 in my files (MSFS Recommended Content/Official/Steam), and it's there, but I can't find it my hangar. The Classic is there, but the G-1000 is not. And now Content Manager won't open. Strange. Any ideas?

Currently in live weather with MSFS does humidity affect aircraft performance? Note I am aware of the icing. What about hot temps & humidity? Can anyone specify as far as current live weather in the sim and the way the sim injects weather what we are currently missing as far as physics go according to real world aviation? Just looking for knowledge. And why the heck haven't they shifted more focus on the weather engine 😩 Thanks & Happy Landings, JW

Hi all Performance in MSFS has gradually gone down and down and down for me since about SU5-6 where now it's becoming unacceptable. Flying out of major airports is a slide show, flying out of minor ones is 30FPS with a fair bit of stuttering. Mainly with panning and changing direction, but generally happens all the time. I7 8700K Radeon 5700XT 64GB RAM. I'm running on 30 FPS held, AIG traffic at 15%, most things on high. TLOD on 100 and it's a stutter fest, where it didn't used to be. Rolling cache to 20GB. I usually fly the default A320 as the FBW is even more stuttery. Obviously I could reduce things further, but I don't want to go below TLOD of 100. I …

Hi all, yesterday i did a night flight since a long time. I could remember that in the first release versions of MSFS there was a very good effect that the aircraft lights were illuminating the clouds when flying through them. Could it be that this effect is gone since one of those big updates? Or is it just a setting somwhere to turn on? Thanks a lot for your help and best regards Julian

My new boxed dvd copy of Flight Sim standard has finally arrived from Amazon. I got this for a really good price but looking at the box, everything on the back is printed in German. I have looked at my past orders on Amazon and the listing now shows the dvd at nearly double the price and “German edition” Before I unseal it and start installation, can the language be changed or is it best to return it?

Hello Everyone, I'm getting back in to MSFS after well over a decade of absence - like starting from scratch really. I'm using Logitech G940 pedals and having a problem with sensitivity. I can't seem to dial out them being super twitchy, resulting in wild yawing on take off unless I'm really, really careful. It's just not a natural feel. In the calibration of the pedals I can see that they are quite 'noisy' with some weird peaks of input through the range. Would paying for FSUIPC help me smooth this out, am I missing something in FS settings, or should I just buy a set of pedals? Thanks for any help, Gareth

I thought I'd try a Seneca flight from Sedona to Aspen with live weather as the winds are intense today with nil visibility due to blowing dust. The flight went well with a 50 knot cruise boost and the landing with a 40 knot xwind landing went really well and felt realistic. Seems ASOBO is getting the details down. ns

Hi all. I am using the SU9 beta. I am also using AIG. I have noticed that there are no airport workers when I start a new session. The pushback truck will come up to the plane with no person there. I don't see any people walking around the airport and I have the airport workers setting set to 100%. Can anyone explain what I might have wrong that there are no workers at the airport? Thanks.

Hello, I fly the default Cessna 172. When I want to lean the mixture, the EGT does not change (only the fuel flow changes). I find it strange because I cannot find the EGT peak which is the usual way to lean the mixture. (Auto mixture not activated). Any idea? THX

Hi All, While i'm still playing around with this to see if I can get it to work I cannot seem to get a button function to work with concorde and switching on the afterburners also getting the thrust reversers to work. Specifically with the honeycomb throttle quadrant. has anyone managed to get a button to work to achieve this? I do not have fsuipc for msfs at this point. would i be able to get a button combo to work if I did? many thanks

Watching the video where the A320 lands in Seattle(at 2x speed) on rw 16L, I noticed that all three runways were lit up like xmas trees. Is that normal in real life,or is it just the rw in use which has all the lights on? Maybe something Asobo could implement in the future, where only the rw in use is lit up.

Is it just me or is this aircraft seriously over powered? TOGA thrust just after wheels up almost immediately shot up to OVERSPEED and climbing like a fighter jet?
