Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

Sorry, just a little 'venting'. After two years, is it possible that they still haven't included the possibility of selecting favourite planes/liveries? Especially when you start to have enough planes, with particular liveries implementing different configurations (as for example in the case of the new Cessna 414AW), it becomes annoying to search for the right livery/airplane. Not to mention all the default aircraft that I will never fly and only contribute to background noise. I think it's a minimum requirement for 'cleanliness'.

Hi folks, I have to ask for your opinions. Yesterday, right after release I got right to painting the famous Lufthansa Ju52. This aircraft has a high sentimental value for me because I had the luck to fly in it as a kid. I had all the details (signature, stickers, plaques) prepared and naturally started placing those. When I got to the main registration I noticed a problem, however. As of right now, the main door is mapped to the opposite side of the fuselage, creating this nasty little effect when you put on a registration. The right side of the aircraft is unaffected. When I start a flight on the runway this 'screen' is switched on as part of the ready to go setup. Cannot figure how to switch it on when I start 'cold and dark' from a gate. Thought it might be my depressing the BRT switch, but that does not work . The Cessna Citation Longitude is becoming my favourite GO To jet - and I have watched a number of U-tube Videos on the aircraft and it seems to have settled down from its early history The aircraft is fitted with a G3000/5000 system - and WT have made a mod to this equipment that all commentators seem to use I follow the download/install instructions carefully - but every time I try to start up the A/c - on power up the screens remain blank and as soon as I delete the mod from Community - all is ok again What might I be doing wrong

I have flown fslabs concorde quite a lot a few years back and found great pleasure learning all the systems. Could someone try to sum up the main practical differences between these two products? I know fslabs is more study sim, but how does Justflight hold up in comparison? What main parts dont work in jf? Fuel system? Ins? im on holiday in Spain and cant purchase it yet to find out for my self. 🙂

Hi, Hopefully this hasn't been asked but maybe it has. Is there any way to remove the "New Activities" stuff each time I launch MSFS? We only need to know this is "new" once and for someone like me who never does landing challenges or bush flights or all that stuff, it's not important. Happy to see what's new once only, and then just load up the sim quickly for me. One the plus side I'm glad to see now each time you touch your community folder you don't have to rebuild a scenery.cfg file...

In P3D there are the very useful night_threshold and day_threshold settings which can be added to the CFG file which allow you to change the threshold at which nighttime lighting comes on/goes off. Is anybody aware if there is something similar in MSFS? Thanks,

Hi, Apologies if this is a known issue. Usually I get between 30-60FPS but when doing a transatlantic flight the frame rate severely decreases to like 5-10FPS. Flying over land seems to be fine. Anyone else have this issue? Thanks

From DC designs. I’m sure a lot will love doing LHR - JFK Concorde work continues with even more dials, knobs, buttons, switches and animated drums! We have now added the selector dials that control just how much fuel is transferred into which tanks each time, allowing fine control of Concorde’s Centre of Gravity when in flight. This is not only important for obvious balance reasons, but also for when using the automatic fuel-transfer system, for which it then controls how much fuel to transfer each time to maintain the aircraft’s balance without the user having to worry about it. Hi all, just notived that there are no pushback trucks or any ground equipment at my gates anymore...Im usually at KSAN default. Now I need to see if a mod took this feature away since I checked all settings and all is in proper order. I also use AIG

I'm going to log this in the REX Deiscord channel, but I *hate* Discord with a vengeance - so I thought I'd see here if anyone else is [also] having problems. REX Weather Force 6.0.22.0301 (latest) with SU8 (MS Store version). The clouds appear to update, but the wind speeds/directions don't seem to get injected - which makes a mockery of takeoffs and landings. Anyone?

Any else getting CTD on the Exp. version? I really have had none. I uninstalled and reinstalled the stable and Dev. flew fine no issue. Went back to Exp. and it CTD about 10-20 into the flight. Latest nvidia driver? Reinstalled it as well after DDU.

Based on my other thread, I went ahead and took a stab at buying TrackIR with the Pro Clip. At first try, it seems way too sensitive / head movements move too quickly when flying in the FBW. Are there any settings/profiles that are recommended with the FBWA320. Any advice would be appreciated.
