Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

After upgrading board and cpu I am no longer able to open the game. When I press the icon, nothing is happening. I've done the usual things like updating the XBOX AP, downloaded the game, tried the reset option, tried the fix option, but no success. I have tried getting a call from support, but when I answer the phone, there's no one there. Tried that 6 times. Now I'm thinking that it's an authentication problem with MS. Anyone else ever had this happen? If so, please share what you did to get the game running again. Thanks. Jose

I'm wondering why we don't have more landmark add-ons for larger regions or even better countries. I'm only aware of ORBX Great Britain Central landmarks. Churches, mosques and other religous buildings, power plants, stadiums, castles, etc.. are still missing in many regions. Of course, it would only make sense for already published SimUpdates when those (missing) elements would be added on a big style. Living in Germany/Austria, where every small village has a church and many castles are around, such an add-on would massively improve the visual experience. I know there are many freeware landmarks add-ons available, one chuch here, one castle there and a power plant elsew…

Good tool for the FBW A32NX, particularly Flex temp for take off. Although only for the A320CFM it gives a close approximation for the CFM56 used on the Neo. https://www.fstools.tech/

To all, I’d appreciate advice about elevator trimming during cruise with the Kodiak. When I try to do that with no wind, the nose pitches up and down slowly. The altitude rises and falls slowly with this, and the best I can get is an up-down range of around 200 ft, and even getting the range that narrow takes a lot of gentle manipulation of the trim wheel. This happens at different amounts of torque and RPMs, different altitudes, different centers of gravity, and whether I use the Honeycomb Bravo (with low sensitivity) or turn that off and just mouse over the trim wheel. (FWIW, the altitude stays completely level when I use AP, and doesn’t change when I tur…

I was using "Q" a lot in FSX and P3D to mute the sim when I needed to and I'm desperately looking for this function in MSFS. According to this thead https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/add-toggle-mute-unmute-sound-shortcut-key-during-flight/294577 there's still no key binding to mute MSFS? Am I missing something or isnt there still no key to mute the sim?

Disregard if I missed this but is there any scenery for Florida's Sun 'n Fun expo? We have Oshkosh scenery so just wondering do we have the same for this major event.

Hi guys , Anybody figured out how to trim the fuel from Tank 11 to Tank 9 and/or Tank 10 ?? I tried hours now but can`t find the setting to pump fuel from Tank 11 to Tank 9 or 10. ( what you should do if you goeing to land ) I can do it the other way, no probs here, but not as i mentioned obove - anybody found the way to do so ? Could this be a bug ? cheers 😉

I was thinking yesterday, upon the release of the Concord, how many aircraft I have seen in the last year, that were the " I got to have this " aircraft of the day. First I recall was the Mooney, then the JF Arrow, then the Bell 47, then The DC6, etc. etc. For about a week or two after they were released, there were posts about that these aircraft were the best since sliced bread, and that is all people were flying. Then within a few weeks, they were never mentioned again. I remember all the posts about flying the Bell 145 for instance , and now, you never see any posts about anyone flying that copter. My question is, are people still flying these must have airc…

Can someone tell me where exactly in the TBM 930 cockpit the parking brake resides so i can toggle it with mouse, as the keyboard guide key combination does nothing ... and its driving me nuts ??

Geez. Serously. Sometimes... It's been a while since I had the time to do a proper flight with the FBW A32NX but this morning I just had enough time to give the new exp version a try. Of course nothing should go wrong or this window of opportunity would be gone. So I set up a flight properly, doing it the right and more time consuming way, and after all the preperation I finally ended up in the FBW A32NX cockpit. And then the EFB showed a black screen saying 'If you're seeing this, React didn't load'. And there is no way I can turn it on. And hence there is no way I can even start this flight properly. The sim was running perfectly yesterday (March 31) afternoon and it shut down gracefully. Today when I try to start it I get to the World Map - fill in the details of the route, and click on FLY - after the blue load progress bar moves 60% of the way from left to right I see a message in Task Manager that flightsimulator.exe is "not Responding" I worked thru the normal sequence of debugging: - turn off all security - empty community folder - empty content.xml - turn off FSUIPC and it still hung at 60% load after FLY I then told the sim to start in SAFE MODE and it still hangs at 60% load after clicking on FLY I made no changes to the sim b…

Hi All, Anyone know, or had any luck in importing their P3D/FSX keyboard commands to MSFS? Or is it just better to learn the new shortcuts? "P" for pause, "S" to cycle view and "CTRL+." to release the parking brake for example. I know they can all be changed in the menu, but if there is another way or someone has the profile already made it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you again!

In view of my a couple of responses to my recent post, I decided to make another video to show all of you the many camera display views that appeared in my flight simulator after an update that followed the world update Australia. THERE WAS a way to remove thoose displays very easily, but that is no longer available and they may have been moved somewhere else. I will appreciate if you can assist me in resolving this problem. Since Friday, when in my iPad or using Navigraph via their PC app, when I click the triangle button to connect to the sim for moving maps, it says sim not detected. Any idea what could be causing this to happen?
