Hi, sorry for this noob question, but I'm having trouble understanding how to start the engine on the Caravan. The checklist doesn't seem to work. And maybe the plane is bugged. Because sometimes the propeller is spinning but I still get a notification on-screen saying "Press Control-E to start engine" or something to that effect. If I press Control-E it then makes a sound and starts... but the prop was already spinning. Anyway, I would like to know the proper sequence of buttons to start the engine from cold. Does anyone else find that the a320's autopilot trims unnecessarily up so that the nose is pointing upwards the whole flight, even when at crusing altitude. Anyone have a fix for this?

Sorry for the mixup. For those with Android tablets. FS radio panel works great on MSFS. I have used it for years on P3d. I have 4 tablets setup for displays. FS radio panel requires fsuipc7 running first, then you need to download fs server panel to run on your PC. The app gives you instructions, it is very easy to setup. -Stampee

I have a problem with my joystick or the settings. The rudder always remains in the respective position and does not return to the zero position when the joystick is released. I don't find any attitude ... does anyone have an idea ??? Thank you in advance

Hi guys, hope u all have enjoyed the sim so far, couple of questions regarding the servers: 1. After logging into the sim, is there a way we could know which server we're in? 2. Which server we logging in depends on what, IP address or the region setting in Windows? Thanks!

Two days before the release of MSFS my brand new Alienware crapped out on me. They will send me a replacement, but not until late October. All to say that I have been missing all the fun associated with the game’s bugs but having my hardware issues. Hopefully, these issues get resolved soon and you guys get to enjoy the sim. But I wonder how the beta testers did not catch all these issues before the release.

I just wanted to show how bad the optimization is in the airliners cockpit view. You can clearly see how my GPU is underutilized and how only a few cores are being used

One of the main issues I am facing (putting aside live weather, and other bugs) is the textures rendering slowly or into black blocks. My internet DL speed is 65 MBPS... no slouch. But I am assuming the game is bottlenecking it somehow? Any advice on this? Anyone else experiencing this?

So far despite the unfinished beta we all payed for, the sim is actually pretty good even with it's issues. I'm enjoying it. The flight dynamics seem realistic in the GA aircraft and the scenery is amazing. However on the external views... There is no option to transit down or up. I found the settings to rotate around the the plane left/right/up/down with the hat switch but there is no assignment to rotate the view up or down to center the plane in the middle of the screen. The planes seem too much at the bottom of the screen and I cant transit view down to center the plane externally like I can in the cockpit. I turned off logging in the atc but, I can not get rid of the text from the ATC transmissions in the ATC window as in, i just want to hear it not see the text for ATC. also, is it possible For the ATC window to auto open when i receive a transmission when i have the window closed during flight? Hi guys, i can't seem to find a way to switch off the builtin FPS counter in the SIM when not in developer mode.... here is what happened, I turned on DEV mode and turned on the FPS monitor, did whatever testing i did and than i switched off the DEV mode and closed my SIM. when i launched the SIM again, i see the FPS monitor is on even thgou DEV mode is off, so i turned on DEV mode and switched FPS menu on and off and i made it disappear. However, when i than switched off DEV mode, the FPS monitor comes on and I have no way to switch it off. in a way, when i DEV mode I can control rather it would appear or not, but when not in DEV mode, it is forced on and I …

I have my top hat linked to the external view. It works well but is a bit jerky. Is there a way to smooth it out? Pat

I just tried the 744. This is one of my favorite pmdg aircraft, and also one of my absolute favorite in real life. I've spent quite a lot of time with the pmdg version of it, and also the upgrade pack for -8. So what do I think. Well first of all it is a FPS hog. It subtracts at least 10 more frames than the airbus. Otherwise, the cockpit looks nice, and the important buttons are there. The automatic vspeeds in the fmc are incorrect, and you should not follow them. You can manually set different vspeeds. Prior to takeoff I had set the Lnav and Vnav modes (probably big mistake), and when I engaged the AP the plane tried to crash. I was high enough that I could recover, and…

I have uninstalled P3D

While flying - how do I bring up the airport information, (elevation, runway heading, ILS frequency) as was available in FSX by clicking on the round airport icon in the map? It seems this should be obvious but in three hours of flying the 152 low and slow around San Diego and Seattle/Tacoma I can find no way to acquire that info while in flight. I have to use AirNav in a separate window. I have not yet installed Navigraph but will do so while waiting for a reply.

Bunch of people in forums have the same issue. Called Ms support, on the phone for over 90 minutes, they have absolutely no idea of what they re doing, and were of zero help. I uninstalled reinstalled several times, restarts, cold boots, you name it. The install in the store only says 990.1 MB, then second install appears on my desktop stating it requires 127 GB of drive space, my C-drive has room, I hit install, and it instantly disappears, and you see no download anywhere. Lunch game, few cuts scenes with audio, get to the "Press any key to start", hangs, and will go no further. Several reboots and a cold start after this, just repeat and rinse. Ms suppo…

Not sure if tech questions goes in this forum. My Samsung Monitor has in-Menu turning FreeSync on. So I duly turned-off V-Sync in MSFS2020. I read FreeSync is released by AMD ti rival GSync, and both are better than V-Sync. What I dont understand is why when V-Sync is off the FPS limiter is disabled
