hi guys, Tried all day today for some Amateur video editing, my first time. please tell me what you guys think and any feedback. many thanks.

The release version seems not to deliver any SDK. I could be wrong, but I haven't found any trace of it. That is a pity, the big developers has it, but not us smaller developer.

Did anyone else noticed the sunset never really disappears below the horizon? Try going to central Europe LKPR for example go up to about FL180 and move the time bar. Dosnt matter what hour of the night you set it to you will always get that orange sunset at the horizon.

Is this for all global textures or just the interior A/C pit? Is there much of a difference in visuals and/or FPS? What about the performance hit with 2048 with a higher end video card? Right now have it set to 1024 since I'm not running in 4K. Thanks!

Hi, So im flying the TBM and after a while in the sim I can't seem to press any buttons? i can steer and press the quick menu but it wont allow me to press anything inside the aircraft?? How do I solve this problem? Thanks in advance!

Make sure to read the the install instructions in some of these carefully, they're not as simple to install as in FSX/P3D.

Hey guys, If I decided to add a new SSD later down the road and move MSFS to that, does that mean I will need to redownload the sim again? Or is there an installer package downloaded that can be ran later if a reinstall is needed? Thanks!

Hi all Small niggle and doesn't seem to be a major issue but when I exit from the Sim by either hitting escape or using the mouse on the "exit to desktop" button on the UI, I get a "error exe not responding" and the sim does a hard shutdown. It starts up absolutely fine and having no issues running the sim, no CTD's or anything like that. Anyone else seeing same thing? Thanks

Amidst all of the moaning about some switch or other not working, I am just in awe of the majesty of the graphics engine in this sim. The way the lighting works is nothing short of staggering. I was flying across the coast, in the west of Scotland, and made a trip across to a group of islands. Don’t ask me where, because I was just sightseeing, and made it up as I went along. Anyhow, the sun had all but disappeared, and instead of just being a perfectly round, orange disc slipping behind the horizon, I was amazed to see it was breaking up and shimmering with the heat haze and atmospheric conditions. Managed to get a Thrustmaster T16000M plugged in. Sim recognized it. Response curves are good. Loaded up my home airport of Brantford Ontario (CYFD), pushed in the throttle and flew a few circuits in the 172! Pretty fantastic! Now playing with all the bells and whistles to get everything set up to let the adventures begin!

Yesterday I stumbled across Bert asking for clarification of the right side ALT press to enable a popup window. This is a great feature that I will use a lot, but, I wish I could crop the popup. I can resize the window area but the panel inside shrink with it. What I would like to do, for instance, is popup the MFD, then only keep the most left side, the Engine, Fuel, Electrics, showing. I find the dull green text color for the numbers hard to read for the TRQ, ITT, and NG. If I can't make it bold and brighter, maybe I can make it bigger. Any ideas?

Looking to buy a new joystick. Suggestions from those having good luck with the setup and descent flight control?

I currently have the MS Sidewinder Precision Pro Joystick, But the new flight sim cannot add any controls and its all to be done manual, Not knowing what most of the controls are apart from Flaps, brakes and the rest of the easy stuff, I think i need to buy a joystick that MS recognise's Can anyone recommend a Budget Joystick thats equal to the MS Sidewinder Precision Pro Joystick. I just need a plug and fly joystick that needs no setting up. Thank you for any help

I keep getting “ safe to eject media “ or “ failure to read file “ randomly while flying FS2020 now all the time naturally this ruins the FS20 session ... it worked great first few days now I can’t complete a flight ! I’m assuming external SSD can not be used with this sim even though I’ve used external SSD with great success other games and XPlane for years ... this is a brand new SSD Samsung T7 suppose to be the best out there ... any help guys ?

I've been trying this afternoon and finding out that the weather data comes from www.meteoblue they don't have Lightning Strikes on their Website or App, this is pretty poor as most other Weather Reporting Websites I use all have Lightning Strike Locations. So my guess is because they don’t have the data then it can’t get fed back into the game, so whilst the Rain & Clouds are pretty much spot on there is no Lightning activity reported so therefore none in game. I hope this gets sorted in the future as even weak storms should show up. I was just watching the multi-player video back through again and I had a thought about the always on online experience. Does anyone know how we can commincate with each other if we come across another player? I might have missed if they mentioned anything about it, but it would be awesome if we could use the in-plane comm radios to talk to each other!!

Not sure if it would be a good idea to conduct a poll to assess the overall experience of MSFS users thus far. It may give us an indication into how widespread these issues are. I see more negative than positive comments, but wonder if negative experiences are more prevalent than the positive ones. I have seen some comments praising their positive experiences, which makes assessment of the game difficult.

I noticed some AI aircraft at JFK with United’s new livery. Does that mean United struck an agreement with the sim? Has anyone seen any United liveries available for selection for any of the 787, A320, or 747-8?

Using the Cessna 172, during takeoff, it feels like the airplane's nose is pointing more and more to the right as the speed increases even though the airplane is rolling straight ahead. It feels like the airplane is slipping sideways. My temptation is to apply left rudder, which is the opposite of what I should do. The inclinometer shows the ball centered. I would like to know if anyone else is experiencing this.

Hi there. I don't know much about simulators or whatnot. I was just wondering: the clouds in the simulator look very impressive. However, in nearly all cases, when I pick an airport to take off from, I have perfectly clear sky without any clouds. When I check the settings, then it says that the simulator takes the actual weather information and simulates that in the game. But that is not correct. Like, I just checked out an airport in southern Argentina, and according to google it's raining there right now. But in the simulator its perfectly clear sky. Hi guys, these days im testing the new flight simulator on my pc..... i have some negative points i'd like to talk with you: MY PC SPECS: Mother - ASUS STRIX Z390-E GAMING Processor - i7 9700K 3.6 GHz RAM - 16 Gb DDR4 GPU - RTX 2060 Super 8 GB - Crashes, i experienced 2 crashes in 4 sessions by now.....hope their future patches will solve - Meteo and related physics are hugly at the moment, i flown across a thunderstorm.....my speed, variometer, altimeter were showing clear skies behaviours, no up and down, no abrupt changes like it should be. Hello, I have noticed that the ATC does not tell me what heading to turn to unless I specifically press "Request Vector To Next Waypoint". In FSX ATC would tell you where to turn as the flight went on. The ATC has told me to climb to other heights but have yet to have it tell me which direction to go without any input of my own. I am using IFR high altitude airways. Is this a setting somewhere?
