I have FS20 installed on "D" ssd drive with no other programmes on that disk. My problem is that when I start FS20 I get an error message "Your computer does not meet the minimum requirements. As a result, you experience errors during the game". My system consists of: Asus Prime Z390-P LGA1151 motherboard Nvidia Graphics card GTX960 RAM: DDR4 Patriot PSD48G266681 8GB (2) = TOTAL 16GB Win 10 64 bit What would be causing this error to show up. Could it be the graphics card GTX960? Thanks for you help. Barry email: [email protected]

Hi, Is there a way to pull up airport info in the MFD screen for the G3X (Virus SW 121 plane). GPS direct flight to KLOM, I thought that I could pull up airport freq / runway info in the MFD. This info is available during flight setup prior to starting the session.

Here is a link to a flight I did today with Shug New Zealand - Taipape NZVR to Fielding NZFI via Rangitikei River 43Nm Dropbox link https://www.dropbox.com/sh/z9wfebsndtms79d/AACPH2Bh_jC7ZLI5hmSOVi43a?dl=0 This was a first time MP for both of us and it is pretty word not allowed easy to set up and get going. A whole new world and experience awaits Two points - there is no keyboard mapping that I can see for PTT (push to talk) which I was hoping for so we could have plane to plane comms via COM radios - Multi player planes do not seem to show on either the VFR map or on LNM, wonder if this is just an option that needs selecting.

I have completely surrendered to the ULTRA 'Dark Side'... The Emperor..."Give in, Mitch..to the DARK SIDE, let your LUST for Ultra lead you to my side as my apprentice!" Mitch: "Ah..er...ok,--->...I'm in...." -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Well, I am blown away...didn't take three days...and I am so GIMME GIMME...and what you will see following is Mitch having gone over to the Ultra Settings 'Dark Side'...and as long as I stay out of the Big Iron Cockpits...well...I can get away with it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Here's some pics and the settings that produced them, flying up the Sarnia Rive…

Say something other the graphics which almost everyone loves (at least in concept if not always in execution.) For me, as a totally unskilled pilot through several iterations of the MSFS franchise, it’s the pattern approach gates. Even if I could navigate to the destination airport, I could never get lined up properly for the landing. My landings are nowhere near perfect yet, but now I have a reason to keep on trying. Thank you, developers.

My apologies if this has been mentioned already (the forum is a bit busy at the moment); but I found a site that provides a pretty good explanation of what the different settings do, how much computing power each uses, along with some general recommendations. I may not agree 100% with their findings; but I think it's a very useful guide to get started tweaking. Check it out here: https://www.game-debate.com/news/29393/microsoft-flight-simulator-most-important-graphics-options-every-video-setting-benchmarked In addition, the "official" MSFS support site has a decent performance optimization guide here: https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/how-to-graphi…

...due to the background claim..I read the plus and the not-so-plus comments equally. Quote: Disappointed here. As a retired military pilot and flight simulator instructor and current private pilot, this is a game and not a flight simulator. Sure, the graphics are pretty, but that’s the extent of it. No multi-monitor support, no ForeFlight support, primitive flight planning, poor VFR map, unrealistic ATC simulation. I now realize how good XPlane 11 is. I got suckered in by FS2020’s graphics! End of Quote My question, what is ForeFlight?

Has anyone been able to setup nosewheel steering using the "set steering, increase steering and decrease steering inputs" included in the Options screen for mapping. Buttons and axis inputs don't seem to work with "Set Steering". Currently I'm turning my aircraft with the rudder axis of my Logitech X-56 Rhino HOTAS Joystick but this is not the best way. Any help is appreciated.

very happy with MSFS Standard - so far worth my AUD $99 + Orbx LOWI, it is just about an enjoyable flight model with the 152, compares very well with Early Access FlyInside Simulator (MSFS beats it hands down - except for VR & helis), BUT, i am SO GLAD i did not uninstall all my other flight sims - that would have been CRAZY! cheers

As it says in the thread title. I assume it can probably work on the other prop planes, I haven't tried. Battery is off, generator is set to standby

OK. Here is is my setup. C:Drive is OS Win 10 only (512 GB) D Drive for MSFS Installed (2 TB) E Drive available and its currently Empty (1 TB) I have installed MSFS2020 in D Drive. When I installed Orbx Central, it went to C drive and when I installed LOWI, I thought it asked me for a drive but defaulted to C. (Am I wrong in thinking that it gave me an option for LOWI?). But when I go to LOWI within the sim I do not see the Orbx LOWI. I still see the default only. In ORBX Centtral it shows LOWI as installed. 1) How do I uninstall LOWI? 2) Do I have to completely uninstall ORBX Central from C drive? 3) How do I install ORBX Add ons…

Hi, There are so many people having issues with stuttering that i'd like to share my experience and how i did find my personal optimum solution. If this help one or two people i'm happy. First my specs: i9-9900K stock RTX2080ti 32GB RAM I wasn't able to get descent FPS on Ultra so i decreased some settings to see where i'd get. My goal was and still is to keep 60FPS@1080p and i am happy i achieved this. Yet still i get stuttering while between close to ground and around 500 feet. Everything else is smooth. I deactivated AI traffic for now because i don't need it actually. Road traffic is set to 0, boats and stuff at 100. Grass and Bushes 0. …

Hi guys, i'm really having a blast taking the Xcub for a ride around the country. But it seems the AP has a problem when ALT Hold is active. As soon as the plane is levelled of, the AP starts to bump up and down just a tiny bit. You can see the Flight Director Bar go up and down too. I first thought it might me wind or Turbulence induced, but turning everything weather related off didn't solve it. Pressing the LVL Button the oscillations stop. I had the same problem in the Latitude at around FL430. Looks like a bug here does't it? Best regards, Tom

Hi, I thought I'd share how to get your Elevator trim working with this joystick. In your apps menu select Thrustmaster control panel tab, go to properties and swap the 4/6 axis with the 5/8 axis and you will have elevator trim on the rocker switch on the throttle lever. It works great, not too sensitive, nice and smooth now.

Yesterday I decided to do a night flight around NYC in the 172 and I couldn’t believe how real it looked. As I am a RW private pilot I tend to prefer airliners in the sim. However, night looked insane. I was blown away. Flying GA in MSFS is a completely different animal. Cheers, Pete

I've have had so many "WOW" moments in this new sim so far. But this was such a shock to me, just taking in how insanely beautiful the scenery rendering engine is!! See for yourself!! Can we also please appreciate this level of modelling in a DEFAULT aircraft And lastly, how beautifully accurately they've captured the area that I live in Ireland!

So I've heard you have to somehow apply the Toe Brakes on my rudder pedals when selecting "Ctrl+Num Del" to release the parking brakes? For some reason it's not working... Is there a specific sequence to do this as I've also heard that this is the way it is by design and mimics real life? Or am I missing a setting somewhere? I'm still having to manually reach down in the pit to release the Parking Brakes... Thanks!

I just read over on another forum that Asobo has figured out how to . . . turn an 'unclear' flight sim ...to a 'nuclear' flight sim. Charge on. 🙃🙃 Just a simple matter of transposing.
