Hello - I was trying to figure my way around the A320, which actually controls okay much to my surprise. However, I can't seem to figure out how to configure the reverse thrusters as they are disengaged on the ground perpetually. Any ideas? Cheers, Pete

I find that trimming is still good-old force trim model, used for ages in MSFS, also in other platforms like XP until recently, War Thunder, etc.. I would have expected that at least this MODERN FDE could bring us a more detailed modeling of trimming. Take aileron trim as an example. You add aileron trim to your aircraft ( provided it allows for it ) and, irrespective of being airborne, or standing still on the ground, with or without your engines working, with or without any winds set, you'll be able to see the associated control surfaces move, like if it was "force trim". Still haven't purchased. I'm wondering about the quality of the SR22 and the 787 as those are the only 2 planes I care much about in the premium package. Has anyone given much thought to the Sr22 yet? Does it stand out as being really worth having or is it bland as compared to all the single prop offerings? How well does it fly and do side slip approaches in wind?

Could someone please tell me how long it should take to install the premium boxed edition? I am a small way into Disc#1 and it's take nearly an hour! Thanks in advance. David

Is it possible that the release version of MSFS2020 contains encrypted files to deter piracy and that this encryption scheme kills performance on some machines that ran an unencrypted beta perfectly smoothly? I don't know. I'm just asking and speculating.

ok its true the game its really nice but its full of bugs and when i say full i mean full!!!!! im sure everyone here mentioned a big number of these but for me the winner of the bugs is you pay for the premium deluxe edition end you get the standard !!!!!!

I tried to set the Active Pause function to a Saitek Flight Yoke button but wasn't able to find a way. Can it be done? Also is there a 'standard' pause in FS2020 like the 'P' key pause in FSX?

Hi all I have had the need to move the FS 2020 install to another HD, I did the following and it worked: 1. copy all the Download (about 100Gb) Package folder to the new destination and rename it 2. uninstall Fly simulator (right click on the FS2020 icon and choose uninstall) 3. reinstall FS 2020 to the new destination 4. start FS 2020 -> it will begin downloading the updates (about 100Gb) -> create a new Download Package folder and name it as you like (i.e. "FSDownloads") 5. pause the download after about 2 min and exit the game 6. delete the new download folder (the FSDownload you created with the new install) and rename the old one with the n…

I found most of the animals in the north of Africa (Ethiopia).... Elephants and girafes. Some in canyons.... I don't know if the devs have traveled a little but this not really where people are going when they want to see theses animals... There was NONE at the places where theses animals are usually (and plenty) : Serengeti reserve, Ngorongoro reserve, Mara River, Mara Masai Reserve, Tsavo reserve, Kilimanjaro reserve, Nairobi reserve, Kruger Park in South Africa, Kagera Reserve in Rwanda and etc. I know it's goodies but it will be good to place the animals where they mostly are.

Is it just me or is the sim missing the Runway Holding Point Lighting (wig wag lights) on the airports? I have not seen any.

Have any members found a way to disable the warning on start up that the machine does not meet minimum requirements?

My thoughts on the new Microsoft Flight Simulator which may or may not assist anybody who is confused by the conflicting reports to be found on this and other sites. I was an Alpha/Beta tester and have bought the Premium Deluxe version of the software. My current pc specs include: i7 8700k @ 4.8 GTX 1080ti 32GB Corsair Vengeance @ 3000 Philips 43 inch monitor @ 3840x2160 I fully expected to buy a new computer after release of MSFS, in the belief that the processor and graphic card would be insufficient to run the sim to my satisfaction. What does this mean for PMDG, FsLabs etc ?

Curious if I am the only one getting a flickering aerial image showing in the water under the golden gate bridge in San Francisco? Because that flickering/aerial image isn't showing in Microsoft's video of the GG Bridge that plays at the start of the game. Maybe it was photoshopped out or it's something with my game?

I live on the Bay Area and tried several flights near the San Jose, and I have most setting at Ultra and a fast connection. However I found that most of the houses in the area tend to be flat images, there is no 3D building formed on top of the image, can anyone also verify this? Why only flat buildings in those no downtown areas! Is that my setting wrong?

Hi all. I haven't found any POH info on any on the aircraft in sim yet. Is there any such animal? I can't believe that they haven't included even basic info like "V" speeds and the like. 😳 Have I just not found it yet, or is there really no documentation? If so, I guess I'll have to start searching online for it.

This sim is getting better by the day... Day 1. Downloaded ok, froze on initial start then ok after restart. Hotas set up - woah twitchy axis controls. Sorted by sensitivity at 50 and 0 dead zone. Played with graphics settings. Every flight would crash to desktop at some time. Frustrated. Day 2. CTD sorted by disabling MSI afterburner overclock on my 2060 super. Not a single CTD since. Not happy with washed out colours on my TV. Lots of graphics settings tweaking and experimenting. Day 3. Discovered easy cockpit camera set up similar to my Ezdok experience. I cannot find a setting to change weights from gallons and pounds to kilograms. Also, no option to have altimeter set using hPa (millibars). Surely this has not been omitted? Outside the USA this is more common. I looked up Asobo and they are French. They are a metric country and use kg and millibars in aviation. FSX had this option, as did the sims before it. Am I missing it or is this a glaring omission?
