Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

Is there any way to map the hat control to work like in the MSFSX virtual cockpit? Where it pans up and down and around the cockpit? Also is there Panel documentation for the TBM A/C? Turning lights on for night flight? I want to master this A/C first.

Anyone can send mapping key for the nice QGMC710 ? Anyone can resolv heading bug 10° 10° to 1° 1 ° when i turn mechanical the heading? if you use left click its good 1° to 1° but assign key nop its only 10° to 10° Thanks

Hello fellow simmers. Well a week in and i for one am loving this new sim. Now i do not pretend to understand coding, so if I'm wrong, please correct me.(The wife does all the time so no worries) Would it not be beneficial all round that the SDK be released to the various developers, i.e. Planes and scenery before release of sim? I see a lot of posts where folks are on the fence waiting for their favorite add on to be developed before they buy the sim. If it was released pre sim, i can see the various developers being ready for the day of sim release, or pretty close to it.

Hi friends, I've been flying MSFS 2020 with no problems for a few days with the CESSNA 172 SKYHAWK. After testing this aircraft, I went to the second that caught my attention, the CESSNA CITATION CJ4. With this (and others) I have encountered a tremendous problem and it is that I cannot get the plane to ascend straight, without suffering constant bank movements to one side and the other (flying manually, not with automatic pilot). The effect is similar to if the aircraft were continually suffering the effects of a crosswind. Example airport KDAB (Daytona Beach, FL). Obviously not one of the hand crafted airports. I notice that there are no jetways. I assume this is the case at other airports. Is that just a thing or do I have a wrong setting somewhere?

Hello, This is my first post here and I really wish this was a lot more positive comment about MFS 2020. I bought the premium package directly from Microsoft. I was able to download MFS 2020 and play with it 2 or 3 times with no problems (amazing graphics). Just watched the sun rise over London from my house in Georgia (courtesy of MSFS). What a sight to behold! The overcast was just thin enough to give the sun a pinkish golden hue and the reflections off the clouds and the occasional raindrop were magical. The biggest surprise came when the all the city lights went out. But not all at once! Each individual light flickered out in its own time over a period of about 15-20 minutes. Wow... what detail! Why do the studders seem to stop when vsync is turned off in the sim?

Hello all, This is going to sound strange, but I am having trouble finding a link to my pre-ordered premium deluxe download. At this time all I can find are links to buy the programme again ie "add to cart". I cannot find any link to the actual download. Could somebody actually point me in the right direction please?. Hello everyone! In the sim it seems very hit or miss on whether or not you will pick up the signal even with the correct frequencies inputted. Certain airports even though they have ILS listed and the frequencies, don’t put out a morse signal, or any signal for that matter. I flew a short hop in the Skyhawk G1000 from Bristol to Cardiff, (UK) to test the ILS and it worked perfectly outbound and practically landed itself. On return to Bristol, nothing at all. Not a peep! Even with the correct frequencies in place. As a test I flew a wide loop around the airport at 4000ft to see if I could pick up the ILS. Nope nothing! Anyone else having issues? Seems to me that after doing some of those tweaks to improve fps on older cpu's (4core i7 with ht on), it messes with the way the sim loads textures. I get a lot more popping and have major issues with blurries. The main culprit for blurries I suspect at the moment is setting the cpu time to background processes in Windows10.

I've been flying with live traffic, but it's getting annoying. The ATC keeps telling every airliner they are 20,000 ft above their assigned flight level. And drop to 10,000 immediately......it's getting maddening. Any reason for this?

Hey... has anyone else noticed the 787 elevator trim a) seems to do nothing and b) changes by itself? I can run it end to end and see the elevator move on external camera views, but it doesn't seem to change the actual trim of the plane at all. Re "b" the first time I observed it I thought it was because the AP was on (in spite of turning it off I could not deselect altitude hold mode) but I just tried again and nothing was lit up on the AP panel at all, yet at times the trim would change by itself (and not when you might expect it to for some kind of envelope protection, this is at "normal" airspeeds, AoA's, and bank angles).

I'm unable to get a slew rate that will allows me to precisely place an aircraft on a ramp. One quick key stroke will send the plane 1/4 mile away. Does anyone have any Ideas how to slow it down so it can be used for precision placement?

Hi all Is there a way in the controls to assign eg F12 keyboard button to one of the buttons on the honeycomb yoke or does this need to be done with fsuipc, I need to assign F12 to a yoke button as a track IR function, to me it looks like you can only assign a Sim function to a control button, I could be wrong,thanks

Hello, I have problem regarding the blurry scenery and clouds, which dont look sharp. I have made tests in London using drone camera and live weather. I am wondering what is causing this - performance monitor says that all is good? I do not have any performance issues (no FPS loss, stuttering).
