Hi! To all those who are having problems getting a keypress to take on the opening Press any key to Start screen, I found that if I press my left mouse button before pressing a key, it takes the keypress right away. Don't know if it will work for anyone else, but it does for me... Russ

What is the name of the default cockpit view in Controls and what is the default key for it? I'd like to go from an external view directly to the default cockpit view. Thanks.

It's a great effort from the community and just got updated. I'm more of a GA pilot but this looks like a great improvement over the default A320!

Hi all, I have recently experimented using RAM disk as my rolling cache, and it seems to keep my FPS up and above mid 20s to closer to 30s but still have some stuttering here and there when loading textures. However, I do noticed that the ground is more crispier. I do have some video card overclocking as well. but the ram disk did made some differences. I did see an improvement in high dense area like Toronto, LAX and ATL area with high cloud settings I used around 13GB and using umlimited internet speed. Is there a way to edit the MSFS equivalent to FSX/P3D airport AFCAD files so that the Gate, ramp and parking numbering is something like real world airports. I have not flown to/from any airports where they are correct, or even logical in their allocation. Does this come under the responsibility of the Nav Data provider or the scenery designer.

I imagine this is a problem for everyone. If you pull back on the yoke and apply power, the nose lifts off the ground. Even if you are only doing 5 knots.

Hi everyone. I am really struggling controlling aircraft, in particular the TBM and Kingair. I will try and explain, taxi - no issue, takeoff roll - slight controller issue (might be P Factor?). Rotation - aircraft pitches up/rolls all over the place! I cannot fly straight and level or even follow the FD. I have tried both my VR Insight Yoke and my CH Combatstick, same issues. I have also tried setting curves/sensitivities within the Sim and by using SPADNext, still issues. I have even modified the flightdynamics.cfg effectiveness without success. I have found plenty of liveries so far for the default C172 g1000 version. Is there way to make available liveries for the Non g1000 version? Any help is appreciated.

I posted Oakville downtown area before, now this is Mississauga downtown. Very close to CYYZ - Toronto Pearson International Airport. Toronto has photogrammetry in MSFS, and Toronto Island CYTZ is a custom airport, but photogrammetry ends outside of Toronto proper, and starts again around Burlington and Hamilton area. Many important Greater Toronto Area VFR landmarks and POI are left to autogen. I've decided to correct that as much as I can, importing and editing Google photogrammetry, as well as fix some glaring terrain errors, such as a huge and long weird "aqueduct" type ridge with a river on top. I wonder why there´s always a difference in official plane performance data and what I can experience with flight simulators. I have only a little bit flight sim experience since xplane11 for VR and since MSFS is out im using that software, so no real life pilot experience at all, but I had often a look at the official performance data I could find online about the planes I´m flying and I wonder why the max speed in official data is always a little bit less than what I can experience in flight sim software. I went into Content Manager and see an update... CORE CONTENT Mandatory Package By Asobo Relaunch the game to update I have relaunched the sim but this option is still shown. I have the Steam version btw, and there are no updates in Steam. Any idea?

Is there really no way to toggle "Vertical Speed Mode" with the keyboard? Is the only way to turn it on by clicking the button with your mouse?

Does anyone know where I can find some liveries for the c172 '6 Pack" Edition (non G1000,) I downloaded the Liveries packages and dropped the livery folders into my community folder, but the liveries do not show up in the menu. Any ideas? Gracias.

Back in the days of DOS, anytime you tried to do anything, the software wold ask: are you sure you want to... MSFS is certainly a throwback in that sense.

I think I understand when it states 'CPU LIMITED' you have replaced the processor on the mobo with a chunk of potato and 'GPU LIMITED' is when you have taken the video card out of the pc and put it on the top shelf in your closet. However, what I don't understand is 'MAIN THREAD LIMITED', what could one do (software or hardware) to impact this? I'm not looking for a guide, just more of a idea of why it would report this if you cant really do anything about it that is not CPU or GPU related. Thanks for your thoughts.

Need some advice from GA flyers here. I have very limited experience in GA planes, but am switching it to my main FS activity now with FS2020. I know why the plane veers during the takeoff roll, and how to counter it with rudder - no problem there. But during stable cruise it also veers to the right (all the planes I've flown do that). I have to constantly apply left aileron to keep it straight. Just curious why that's happening? I don't see rudder trim in the Bonanza or 152,so not sure if it can be trimmed out?

Hi all, I am trying to find this but so far I can't find it. During installation I installed MSFS in a custom location, however the community folder is still located under the C drive. I bought MSFS from the Windows store. I would like to find this setting during installation where I could set the community folder location and put it on my MSFS installation path instead of the C default path. Is it possible to do this or I have to reinstall MSFS?
