Hello, I downloaded MSFS on the day it was released and it has been working rather well for me up until today. Now it will load a simple flight selecting one of the three last used airports, but when I select a flight between two new ones (previously used a few days ago) and select start flight, the whole program crashes after circa 10 seconds of loading up the new data. My CPU and GPU usage looks normal, I have access to the internet. Is there a log file anywhere which might indicate what is causing it to crash? I have logged off MS shop and logged on again and restarted my PC so cannot think of what else to try?

Did anyone noticed that if you pause the game (or not) and minimize the sim the GPU goes to 100% ? Maximizing it and playing again GPU went back to 60%-70% What is this ??

Hi - in my setup, I'm using ForeFlight on the iPad and streaming sim's GPS data to it. Works great. Except... most airports I've been in don't seem to have taxiways laid out correctly in the sim, and while they're sometimes close "physically", the names are way off. E.g., Bravo might be on the south side in the Sim, but it's actually on the North side in real/on ForeFlight. This is a bit of a letdown as I was really hoping to practice ground ops situational awareness with ForeFlight. Hello, Way point Issues: I set a way point as an arrival. It shows the purple (or white) indicating as set. once in flight mode the GPS lines are not there anymore. ???? Also, How do you set custom way points in between the routes once departure and arrivals are set?

I was flying with autopilot on at 30,000 feet with clear weather and suddenly my TBM930 got nuts. The plane wouldnt respond to controls and the spot view acted strange and I couldnt do anything about it. This is the view from cockpit. I wasnt doing any inputs at the time. I have over 30 hours on the sim on the TBM930 and this is the first time this has happened. And also the engine lost its power even I had no failures enable so it started to lose speed but I couldnt do any inputs with my controller to it. Anynone got any idea why ? Dont know where to send this post so Microsoft developers could read. I have been trying the sim out now. Note I still run Fs2004 and love it. In the MSFS2020 I believe to make it more for training, these features should be added In FS2004 we had Map option. In here we were able to see all the navaid near an airport and obtain there frequencies. Also we were able too drag the aircraft anywhere on the map and start from that point by setting heading, altitude, speed. This was great feature for practicing approaches quickly. Also in map we were able to see the flight track we just flew and see how we did say on an ILS. Fantastic feature. …

Fellow aviators, I have the following issue and was wondering if anyone has a solution. I installed a couple of the already available addon airports like BGCO or F45. When I try to choose those airports on the world map as a departure airport they won`t show up. Neither on the map nor on the list when searched by ICAO Code. Although when I just place the aircraft overhead inflight those addon airports are actually present. So it seems the buildings and objects get imported but not the airport infos itself. All the other addon like Liveries, Scenery objects etc. work just fine... Anyone has an idea about this issue? Th…

Sooooooo, I just noticed the Microsoft store online had Honeycomb yokes in stock. I jumped on it as my X52 (2004 purchase) really needs replacing. What I'm wondering is can I continue to leave the X52 connected in order to use the throttle until the throttle unit comes out and I get one? Or is the sim going to be confused by extra controllers like that? Obviously I'll swap the pitch/roll axes etc to the Honeycomb and dump the rudder mapping but hoping not to have to use the keyboard to control the throttle until the Honeycomb throttle is available.

I was amazed to find out that the eclips is actually modelled but a bit dissapointed that it's only partial. I am sat here in Rouen France (LFOP) which was in the zone of totality. Tried the same at other locations but the result is the same. It makes me wonder, if it can do this already (have we seen this before in other sims? i don't think so) then why wont the sim allow for introducing Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn to the nights skies as well? The sky at night is at the moment too bright, that is to say, one can even see the milky way when sat in KJFK at the gate, which is not realistic of course. but that is another matter.

"yes, I know you want me to climb, but I'm an word not allowed and just iced up because i forgot my de-ice and I'm dropping like a rock, so please just shut up until I get back to you... m'kay?" Hi all When I un dock any cockpit windows in the c172 I immediately loose 10-15 fps, I originally thought this was only the VFR map that caused this but if I alt r any cockpit window I have the 10-15 frame loss, any body else experience this Thanks Wayne

Does anyone have any ideas how to reset the ATC window position, or move it without using the mouse? From closing down MSFS last night to starting it up after work this evening, it seems to have half disappeared. The top part of the window is missing so i can't move it.

Does FltPlan Go allow creation of a flight plan that FS 2020 can accept and load in? Like a .pln file?

I bought the original premium deluxe edition. I had all 30 aircrafts, but then I didnt start the simulator up for 3 weeks. I started it up today, and found that my planes were back down to 20. I must also say, that I additionally installed the mega livery pack today, so I am not sure if that makes a difference? I am wondering if the update patch caused this. My marketplace is also not accessible today. Any one else had this issue?

Am i the only one to think that the scenery of Stockholm looks pretty terrible? and the awful green tint all over the map... Kind of concerning...

Hi, I need some help with getting the A32NX to show up in the Livery selection of MSFS2020. I downloaded the stable version at FlyByWire.com "flybywiresim-a32nx.zip", unzipped the folder and copied the "A32NX" folder into my "Community" folder. When I open MSFS2020 and select Airliners / Liveries only the default A320 NEO is available. Appreciate any tips / help Brgds Juergen Mader

I have TrackIR but it's not currently hooked up. Last time I used it was in P3D and X-Plane and I remember that it was very unresponsive. How's the experience with you guys with using it with the new mfs? If it's positive then it may be worth taking the time for me to dig it out of my closet and hook it up. Since I use a 55" 4K TV, I would have to mount it up pretty high. Hopefully that doesn't effect the overall movement that it will give me.

I got my copy via pre-order from the MS store (I guess, I didn't buy via steam or dvd and I'm totally new to all this "apps" and "apps store" lark) I did the thing about changing where new apps should be installed, so it went to the drive I wanted. I then changed that setting back to the C drive to avoid any other inadvertant app downloads going to my sim drive. I now have junctions in a ridiculously long-winded folder structure (in users\me\appdata\local\packages\microsoftblahblahblah . . . ) that point to a similarly long-winded folder setup on my desired drive. I just wanted to pop my head in here and say that the beta for navigraph nav database in msf has begun. It is in its infancy, and has a long way to go. I have a low power gpu (1060) and 3 4k monitors (waiting for the 3080 to come out). I'm trying to get a bigger field of view in a lower res mode so that I can keep above 20 frames. In windowed mode, I can stretch the window across the 3 screens so that it renders at a lower res. This works quite well, however some things don't line up properly. For example highways bend at the angle my monitors set. I understand why this is happening. I'm just wondering if there's any tips or tricks to lessen the distortion.
