Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

I ask this question because the TBM930 goes nose up initally and quite prominently, whereas it seems most all other planes go more nose down immediately, at least in my simming experience. Is this 'normal' perhaps for this particular plane? From an FAA document: Flap extension has a definite effect on the airplane’s pitch behavior. I have MSFS Steam Edition and until FS2020 has third party A/C I thought about purchasing Prepare 3D version 5. I think we are six months to a year away from a more mature FS 2020 as far as third party development. To me the A/C is everything for realism. Although I enjoy the scenery enhancements in FS2020. Most of my Aircraft that I really like has an install for P3D. Thoughts? Thanks!

So before Asobo ever mentioned an Alaskan Bush Trip I had already started working on my very simple one to learn how to create one. Myself and a few others are on my Discord channel ( link in my signature ) helping each other learn. It's an extremely simple one with only one Point Of Interest between each leg as I learn. Hi there! Please help, all of a sudden I lost the CH product yoke and pedals in the MS2020 controls list. I have only a mouse and keyboard. I already checked the device manager of my computer and it says that the device is working properly, but the flight simulator does not recognize it somehow. Please inform me on what i should do! I tried to reset my computer a few times but its still the same result. According to the CH product, it should be a plug and play. Thank you in advance!

Flew this afternoon from KORF to KSAV and the weather was just perfect. Both on the ground and in the air, Live weather did its job brilliantly and was spot on. Loaded the aircraft at KSAV few minutes ago and again, temp and pressure completely off on the ground... An earlier thread discussed the slowdowns experienced when flying in busy areas. I experienced it in a minor way in the SoCal area when flying between John Wayne and LAX. Not a big deal - a second of stutter every now and then - good rates, 30 40 FPS. I tried this flight again after the last update and this scenario was completely unworkable. Stutters, and pauses that lasted upwards of 10 sec. Only thing different for me in setup was that I was flying the TBM instead of an Xcub or the Bonanza. Could the glass panel of the TBM be responsible?

Ok, i am having issue to land the A320, using the latest A32NX dev version. When I am at 20 feet above the runway, 141kt, full flaps, idle, trying to flare, well the Airbus is at 20 feet and will just stay there, no matter how long is the runway, maybe I will lose 4-5 knot after 3km and the attitude won't change much Seems like the ground effect is a bit much Do you experience the same?

Look. I understand this is a forum and people should be able to freely express their opinions and what not. I get that. But if someone opens a thread about how much they love, this or that, then why is there the need for some to rain on the parade and say....Yeah. but ....and then list their laundry list of grievances. Is there a program or a way so you can choose the best STAR ans Transition for your fligt plan. I have tried taking the last waypoint on my flightplan but almost always i see that i is not right, going another direction,or far away from the airport to come back Is there a database where the last waypoint is listed, the runway and the most used star for example. With the latest update (possibly the one before that), flying both the default 787 and the a320NX, I’ll click a dial with my mouse to change baro, alt, speed, heading, and even if I click it once, sometimes it will keep turning. I can usually stop it by clicking the opposite side, but it gets tricky, especially with airspeed on approach. Has anyone else encountered this? It was working just fine until a few weeks ago and I haven’t changed any of my mouse settings.

Hi, anyone know how can i remove a 3rd party object ? The thing is that many free 3rd party addons are starting to show up, which is perfect. But, few of them are adding the same object, so i get weird 2 kind same objects at the same place. Yes i can remove one but then i will lose something else. Meaning, one addon is covering the whole country radio towers and the other other addon an airfield AND that same radio tower structure. I don't want to lose either addons just that one specific object. Any ideas ? I don't want to ask the developer as he has already put much effort and maybe other people don't want the other addon.

The clouds seem to look worse than before. From above they look more pixelated than they did. Don't know how to post screenshots on here. Anyone experiencing that?

G'day, Well its time I asked the wise people here about this. I recently discovered that Nvidia drivers are broken when it comes to Wide color gamut and HDR. It is broken as a whole but also in Flight Sim. So I found when watching video on the HTPC:Latest Nvidia driver: WCG only works in RGB 8bit dithered FULL and TV in Black level low. this results in bad black crush. (approx 92%of DCI-P3) HDR auto switching doesn't work. Driver from February: WCG works fine as it should in 4:2:2 12bit Limited and TV in Black level low. Great shadow detail. I was flying VFR for sightseeing and was doing some screenshots of the cities I was flying over. After a certain time, I noticed my gyro-compass was completely out of phase with my compass, which was strange because it was a short flight and I didn't do so many turns. I have installed manually (dropped the livery directory into the Community folder) a new livery for my 787 and since then the plane can not fly a flight plan. I removed it but the trouble is still there. Any ideas how to fix the problem? Is it a way you can restore the installed dreamliner? Stelios
