I have a flight planned for tomorrow, (Tuesday the 24th) and do not wish to get hung out waiting for a large update (World Update 2: North America) to complete. Will the update be staved off if I already have the sim loaded to the World screen?

I fly with Real-Time Online. Today was the first time I actually say someone (had "show traffic nameplates" on..lol. My question is ,can i contact these other pilots..for instance some kind of text in the game?

I just took off from PAKT and climbed out through the clouds which were quite low and it was just awesome, it really was, absolutely fantastic, this simulator is mega, I absolutely love it! Im 53 years old and been simming for over 20 years, never never been so immersed withe a desktop simulator ever...and I've had them all since FS98 all the payware sceneries, pmdg aircraft, A2A etc etc, pd3, xp11, the bloody lot......this sim is the best!! We were within a day or so of releasing the next version of the Working Title G1000 when today's update hit. It didn't make sense to spend a lot of time patching code that was about to be made obsolete, so we have focused instead on integrating the changes from the new sim version into our development code and putting the finishing touches on releases for the G1000 and the CJ4. I just had to share my marvel w/ this. I recall not long ago flying in P3D east over the East SF Bay Area and past a few wind turbines and performance would go straight into the toilet. Now this, w/ massively more smoothly moving turbines, no problem taking it all in stride. This is what makes me hopeful there is generally going to be enough headroom for 3rd party planeware especially when DX-12 is implemented.

I keep hearing about these world updates and saw that North America is slated for Tuesday. However, I still can't figure out what exactly it is. Is it scenery enhancements or something? To me it isn't clear so I was hoping someone could explain what you get with it. Thanks!

Hi, Does anyone know how to open the doors of smaller aircraft such as cessna C208B? In FSX and P3D there was a key for this purpose (shift + E). Thanks.

Does BARO VNAV and visual approach guidance of TBM 930 work? Would be useful for airports without ILS BTW I fly everything manual this is not an auto pilot question

Cannot figure out how to setup my Saitek dual throttle quadrants to recognize two different engines on GA twins. I have successfully mapped my trim wheel, so I am aware of the general Controls menus, but the problem is that when you search the menus there do not seem to be any multi engine axis, just Throttle, Propeller and Mixture, but no "Engine 1 Throttle", "Engine 2 Throttle", etc. What am I missing?

Hi All, I have tried to get Saitek Gauges working for MSFS2020 today, i installed the latest Saitek driver version 8.0.290.0 and updated MS Visual C++ 2015 Redistribute for both X86 and 64bit. The Saitek driver install complained on installation about missing Visual C++ until i updated them after which on doubling the shortcut it created something seemed to happen but there was no setup process as per the Saitek instructions. So i ploughed on and plugged the first gauge in, still no setup but i did see briefly the up arrow on the bottom of the gauge flash red so i started MSFS2020. Again no setup process or MSFS dialogue saying trying to load gauge etc. What i did s…

The scenery was recently released I'm downloading now will put screenshots up on the screenshot forum when its installed. I have their Wash DC and Moscow sceneries and I like their products.

Alright, don't know what I did, but used to be able to Pan holding the right mouse button down in Cockpit View and External View, can no longer do so no matter what I try? Checked the mouse in another sim and it works fine. Not sure what to do? I think I have tried everything but apparently not. Any help appreciated. Images coming soon, loading sim. Notice Quick Views missing also for External! I have no clue how to get this to work again.

When I fly this Citation as soon as I get airborne the wings continue to rock back and forth constantly. Not violently but as if you were rocking a baby back to sleep. Can't figure out hot to stop this rocking or what is causing it to happen. Anyone else having this problem. And are you able to correct it? Thanks Walt

I recently just changed around my settings and it appears as though my A320 Mod displays are a little blurry. Generally speaking, what would cause that? I want to make sure I can change it back

Has anyone else encountered the problem of strange ground texture rendering at low altitude? At less than 1000 feet AGL there starts to be a circular a zone of black under the plane that "prints through" the ground textures. Above 500 ft AGL it is only visible in the external straight down view but it is quite annoying in the forward and side views of the last couple of hundred feet of the landing approach as you can see from the screenshot. Hi, For some reason, Dev mode and the FPS counter seem to be out of sync or something. With dev mode on, I turned off the FPS counter, and then turned off dev mode. When dev mode was turned off, the FPS counter came back. The result is there isn't a way to have dev mode and the fps counter off at this point. Am I missing something here? Maybe the update with reset things?
