Hi all, My computer just can't handle the complex 'realistic' sceneries at JFK (especially) and CDG in terms of performance. Is it possible to have a version of these that uses the same kind of 'lite' default/generic elements you would typically see at random airports in MSFS 2020?

OK, it's now 6 days since Nov 12th and I haven't gotten any updates since Patch 6/Nov 5th update, which became available to me around Nov 10th. I'm completely confused about the Nov 12th update? Did that come out, but it's still listed as 1.10.11.0 and I haven't noticed any differences? Will the Nov 12th update actually come out before the expected Nov 24th update is announced? Why give an update a date when the update isn't available until some undefined time after that? Anyone compiling a list of each patch by sequential number, date and the actual date it becomes available and the actual software versions?

Hi! Has anyone else have a problem with Boeing 747 liveries? I was checking in my hangar and noticed that the starboard side livery image was reversed. This seems to affect 747s only. Is this a known bug?

I've had MSFS for nearly 3 months now and i still cannot get the autopilot to operate correctly. The ap button will not stay depressed and will not follow any flight plans. The heading and height button settings have no affect on the flight. What am i doing wrong or omitting? Can anyone help? Steve

Hi all Does anyone know if vouchers can be exchanged for add ons in the in game market place? I am using the steam version of the sim. Are there steam or Microsoft vouchers people could buy as gifts come Christmas time and be used in exchange for an airport etc?

Would anyone know how to the Alt+Shift+X keyboard function in MS Flight Sim 2020 works to set Com1 alt frequency. Does not seem to do anything.

I'd really like to know how it is selling. Any clues? I cared about MSFS so much that I am also concerned with its future. Is the revenue big enough to maintain the cloud server? I did not have so much concern back in the FSX days. I know even if it is discontinued, we can still play it and even improves on it, as it turns out to be the case. But not for MSFS. I know there is an offline version, but it makes much less sense.

I just can not find key presses for Toggle VNAV and toggle NAV, There is "Set auto pilot nav select". The reason i want these is that I'm setting up Touch Portal

Did not check them all but wanted to fly the steam 172...gone. THen looked for the Latitude to see if it was a trend...yep...MIA too. Don't think I did anything to cause it (I dont have addon paints if that is where you're gonna point me to 1st. 😉 ) Anyone else? Is MS/AS prepping for something I don't know about?

Thank you Asobo weather man (men)! Recently the weather depiction has greatly improved! Just wanted to let you know that I have noticed and that it is appreciated! The barometric pressure and wind are getting really close to the metar reports, sometimes a bit off, same with the wind, but very close! Also the cloud depiction has improved, with more high altitude and more variety of clouds! Keep up the good work!

Back in the days of FS-2004 I discovered this neat little aviation community just south-west of Chicago, and have been there (virtually of course) a few times since. Like many, I have major FPS issues in airliner cockpits yet no issues in GA planes, all of this is fixed with turning off the displays pointing to them being the issue,why does Asobo ignore the issue,clearly its a coding issue as there are tons of Addons on other sims with no perf impact from glass displays.

I've read posts discussing the benefits of going from 16 GB to 32 GB of RAM. I've had my own experience that I want to share. About a month or so ago, I opened my PC case to install and additional SSD drive. Inadvertently, I dislodged one of my 4 RAM sticks and didn't realize what I had done for a whole month. I booted up the computer again and never realized it was down to 16 GB instead of the originally installed 32 GB. Once my RAM went from 32 GB to 16 GB, MSFS performance started to suffer. The main issue was stutters, some lasting as long as 2 or 3 seconds. I also saw a degradation of FPS, but I never measured so I can't really provide a sense of the impac…

I'm getting old, and my uninstaller proficiency is dubious these days ... Some years ago I would have given this a try, but each time I reinstalled MFS, and then uninstalled it, I forgot to make the test: - If we save the contents folder ( under which he two main install folders lay ) between installs, can we use it to rush the install instead of the installer having to pick some 30 G each time ? I have the DVD version, so at least that part is easy on the net, but it came to my mind that saving the main folder, which I usually point to my "F:" drive, might make the re-install even faster, f between installs there was no update ?

Is there a way of changing the "eyepoint" for an airplane? In P3D, you can adjust that in the aircraft.cfg file. I would like to be able to move the eyepoint to the left and up a bit for the Carenado C182 and have it stay there. I can use the arrow keys to move, but do not know how to make it persistent.

I'm not saying this will work for everyone, but it has for me and blew my mind. I tend to use KORS (with Orbx scenery) as my base and run the NVidia FPS monitor so have got a good feel for how the sim runs. As everyone, I've been tweaking the in-game settings and arrived at High plus a few settings at Ultra as a compromise. I should say I'm using a 1070 overclocked card, 32 Gb of system RAM and a stock-speed i7-6700 CPU. The latest updated really messed up the clouds for me for some reason (looked more like Minecraft than clouds). So I messed with more settings, rebooted, etc. but nothing worked.
