Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

Greetings. My Kaspersky AV keeps deleting FSUIPC 7 files which was discussed already in FSUIPC forum. I know it is a false positive. I spoke to Kaspersky but they seems cannot help. I wonder if anyone who has Kaspersky AV figured out how to prevent Kaspersky from deleting (disinfecting) FSUIPC 7? I followed all steps Kaspersky suggested steps but it did not help. Thanks for looking.

I fear I know the answer to this question already. I purchased MSFS Premiere Deluxe through the Steam Marketplace. The game installed just fine (112GB later mind you), but none of the DLC content is visible in-game. Based on some cursory skimming of the interwebs, I am concerned this may be happening because my steam e-mail is not the same as the one associated with my xbox live account. Has anyone encountered this? Is there a solution other than request a refund? Thanks, J

Hi, I'm currently using the Gamepass for PC version of the sim but I want to buy the Steam version. I guess I will have to uninstall this version to install the Steam version but will I keep all my controller assignments or will I have to do them all again? Hopefully they are saved on the cloud and I will have them with the Steam version. Thanks.

I am seeing updates to a lot of planes, airports, etc. in the content manager. Looks like a lot of changes are coming in the next release.

I tried to find a way to reach GitHub developer folks. But their site only allows reporting bugs (I think). While the developers made the A320NEO very flyable with version 4.1 Which I am very grateful. I would to see some attention given to these three items. It will make flying this aircraft more enjoyable. 1. Zero fuel weight is fixed at 50kg and not changeable to pounds to pound either 2. I bought a new 15in HP gaming laptop to run this sim. Ground scenery is incredible. Not too impressed with the clouds but I have my settings on medium. Anyway the graphics is not the problem. The laptop is running it fine and I'm impressed with it. The main problem with this sim for me is the keymaps. I'm a old time simmer from FS98, FS2004 and FSX days. The problem is the keymap here is nothing like those sims. A lot of the keys simply do not work. I get the warning about the barometer and I press b but it doesn't change it. I go into the controls and look at the keymap and things are so arcane. I don't know if I have it in me to learn a whole new keymap system. What w…

Do you like how MSFS is starting a flight, just right on the runway or very close to it, being already cleared for take off? I'd rather like to find my a/c in the parking area or close to a jetway, preferably cold&dark. I'm really missing all those pre-flight requirements/procedures from a/c check, to preparing engine start, flight planning etc. ... I've not yet found how I can force MSFS to let me do these things. The only workaround I found: After MSFS gives you control to your a/c, you may taxi back to a parking spot, shut down engines and save that flight situation. Let me start of in saying this is subjective and I would love some insight on this. In most aircraft in FS2020 you can turn off features in the glass displays that you don't need and/or use. One example for me is the AOA gauge that loads up everytime I'm in the Longitude. This gauge has a needle that barely moves and I'm not quite sure what the point is when you can see your AOA on the PDF in general. For me it's pretty useless as is the tiny map that sits in the PDF on the lower left side. In all other aircraft I can turn off the miniature map as I have the same display big and bold in the center screen. There's no option to turn it off in the Longitude. I would l…

I have a Logitech G910 keyboard which has programmable keys I’m trying to program some multi key commands in MSFS to one key on the keyboard. Example to speed up time I need to press R + Ctrl + the + key and to slow down time R + Ctrl + the – key. It works great with DCS and X-Plane 11 especially when in VR. I have the Microsoft Store Version and found the .exe file but nothing happens when I select it with the Logitech software or do I need the Stream version. I also tried just adding to the default profile and MSFS will not recognize the key input.

I have purchased the MATRIC tablet app controller with a selection of decks to control MSFS 2020. But I can't make it work. I assume it would use FS2020's native simconnect and surely I don't need a special or custom simconnect app for this? I find it absolutely extraordinary that on not a single website, youtube video or on Matric's own website, nor in its tutorials or FAQ is there a single word about how to connect the Matric app to FS2020 or any other flight sim. If anyone knows I'd be very grateful for instructions.

I know this isn't new but I used to always have flat contours switched on in XPlane due to Ortho4XP. I'm rekindling my love for a good sloped runway its so much fun on landing, for example I downloaded KAVX from Flightsim.to, just landed on 22 with a bit of a crosswind and some turbulence on short final but was surprised just how much of an incline there is at the last minute - on the charts even says Runway 22 upslope preferred landing. Hello, Is anyone able to engage both Autopilots in land mode with a CAT III ILS ? This youtuber has both active with the default A320NX (no mod) I am unable to do this. It's AP1 or AP2 (but not both)

Was doing a long flight in the A320 yesterday and it ran out of fuel despite Unlimited Fuel being set to on!!! Presume others have this issue too? Will report it on Zendesk CJ

My achy breaky heart.... It's soooo gorgeous - it's basically the perfect bizjet - and then the AP goes into ROL mode and blows past my waypoint in the FPL.... 😒 And then it bounces all over at cruise.... The A320 with the FBV mod really is a joy to fly now. The pop out displays on my touchscreen, normally used for AirManager works very well. I fly it with a left hand side stick (VBK) slightly reduced sensitivity (-30% both axis) it is quite easy to handfly even x-wind landings. The AP works very well and seems to fly well both SID and STAR as well as manual vectoring. No auto landing yet, but I always fly the last thousand feet by hand anyway. Up until now I have stuck to flying the M20, C182, Cubs and the MA399 both VFR and IFR. But now I think the A320 is very enjoyable as well. Tomorrow it is 3 months since MSFS 2020 was released. After 3 months of flying around in the Virtual Skies, I get more and more impressed. When ever i push Esc key, when flying CJ4/ with mod, my engines will cut out. I have tested with other planes and have no problem

My FPS drop by 10 when I connect to Vatsim using VPilot (it was my first time trying it). Searching the forums I can see people complaining about this issue early on but nothing since. Is this something that can be fixed or we have to wait for Asobo to patch something?

Currently I go to flightsim.to for freeware, mods, etc. Is there any other site that is recommended? I'm looking for more US airports and tweaks to US liveries.

Seems like she flies smooth as silk, then the winds shift and the rocking starts until the wind shift again or my course changes. I am using the latest version of the mod to my knowledge. Is this a bug or is there a work around? Thanks! Duane
