With the many, MANY mods now coming available, I would propose the following name structure be adopted- TYPE_NAME_DEV NAME_VERSION # TYPE- would be SCENERY, AIRCRAFT, LIVERY, UTILITY, MISC NAME- would START with ICAO or IATA (i.e. EGLL London Heathrow or BAW A320N etc.) DEV NAME- would be the developer's gamertag, name, company name etc. Version #- would be the version # So for a new Tampa International Airport scenery the Community Folder File name would be SCENERY_KTPA Tampa International Airport_cavaricooper_1.0 and for a new A320 livery it would be LIVERY_BAW A320 GTTFN_cavaricooper_1.0 These folders are get…

Anyone has problems with real IA traffic since last update?. I have the departure at EDDF (Frankfurt airpot) and there isn't live activity (no arrivals no departures).........i think thats incredible

I was curious to know if anyone here has updated to the latest Windows 10 H2O version and if so would you say it's safe. I'm kind of afraid of updating and risking the chance of it causing potential problems with MSFS.

Hi guys. I have already made a scenery project before that I published on flightsim.to, and I have been working on for a week or so. Yesterday I wanted to make a new project for a neighouring airport, but I am having big problems making the scenery I'm working on to save. If you are able to help me shed some light on what I'm doing wrong that would be fantastic 🙂 EDIT: If I click load asset group on the normal scenery without adding any polygon and shape files, I still loose all my work. The files are being generated in the folders, but the ingame assets dissapear.

A noticed a post on the REX Discord server that they are working on trying to get snowpack to match RL conditions. Right now, if the METAR shows that it's snowing, then snow accumulates on the ground. But if the METAR doesn't show snow, then the ground is barren (and hehe, summer-like even in the dead of winter in the temperate zone). Also, since MSFS patch #6, the requirement that each aircraft livery must have it's own model file has been undone by Asobo. There's a post on the AIG forums that this change will allow progress on porting their software to MSFS.

Has anyone tried this update? Just wondering before I install and have the sim adversely affected. We have no direction from Asobo on this.

It depends on each aircraft, but some, notably the glass cockpit ones, and particularly the Cessna citation.. I can't read the instruments very well because the altitude and speed numbers are rather small. Overall I feel like the numbers on instruments are a bit blurry and not as crisp as they could be. My graphics are set to high.My monitor is a 22" at 1680x1050. I was considering getting a 24" 1920x1080 screen. Would this help? Another thing I'm wondering is the anti-aliasing, could it be applied to the instruments exclusively? After the latest update I've had issues not getting live weather. I have seen others report the same thing as well. I am looking around in the sim settings and it appears as though I also cannot connect to the marketplace. So I am thinking, maybe after the update, MSFS is having trouble connecting to the internet. It says that I am online and in the data menu, it would appear that I have everything turned on. Is there something I can look into to see why this might be happening? This is my guess as to why some folks aren't able to get live weather.

I know this will be a very vague question, but what is the general cause for studders? Is it a setting issue or a hardware? I have them and wanted to see if I should look to decrease settings, or add memory or other hardware to beef up my system. I've searched the forum and viewed several YT videos and I can't get certain aspects of the autopilot to function. Setting it to ROL, HDG and NAV functions work fine, but the vertical functions don't want to obey. The plane won't increase or decrease altitude after pressing ALT and then dialing in the fpm in VS. Most of the time it ignores the inputs, whereas other times it will start to ascend or descend but will wildly overshoot what was dialed in. Holding a heading is great using the autopilot, but I may be doing something wrong with the vertical functions. As in the changelog for the latest update, one should be able to change a runway while on approach to an airport. Flying the A320Neo I most probably overlooked how to request such a change, I just couldn't find it. Did any of you have any success in accomplish to change to the preferred runway on approach? Presently, the yoke in these craft cannot be removed by clicking on the shaft bearing. However, I have, purely by accident found a way to do so. I added the developer menu and then engaged the 'aircraft selector'. While in that mode, I could select the 182 or the M20R. Voila- the yoke remover click point works ! Maybe other functionalities are affected. Haven't had any time to verify.

My MSFS crashed the other day due to some sort of folder corruption, I reloaded from the Store and inadvertently loaded the Basic edition when I had purchased the "De Lux". I discovered this when I restarted MSFS and found only two aircraft available. No worry I thought I just went back and re-installed the "De Lux " edition. Fired it up and I still have only two aircraft in my stable. Can anyone help me retrieve of my "De Lux" edition aircraft or at least reveal where the MSFS Aircraft are stored. Everything else if just fine.

My sim definitely looks a lot better after the last update. Sharper and better colors. All my graphics settings are the same as before the update. I'm running at 2k on high-end settings with a 980ti. Anyone else notice anything? Is it something they fixed with the older cards (for those with the GTX 600-700 and m series graphics) that filtered over to me?

Hi all , As i mostly fly the big Airliners ( FS 2020 ) and i am interested on the TNCM scenery from Airworthy Designs the Question here for me is: TNCM Airworthy Designs does it has/use ILS course frequency ? Prior to MSFS install I made a habit of using Macrium Reflect to periodically clone the my primary boot drive on which I have the uber-laborious-to-set-up P3D installed on, to an identical sister NVme M.2 drive on the motherboard. Never had a problem booting to either drive after cloning. Since installing MSFS on the primary drive I have not done the clone operation as someone early on said they could not boot their MSFS-containing primary drive after doing a cloning operation with it. FYI: when you buy anything from the Steam site, it's wise to pay by Paypal and make an image of your transaction (on the Paypal site, not the steam site) showing the history and actual transaction ID number. Dont have any hardware yet for radios, etc. So trying to fly the C-150, ( you don't fly a C-150 with auto-pilot) , was doing a flight that will be doing in the real C-150 in the ext few days. Well trying to see the radio stack and trying to turn the knobs, it is extremely difficult to zoom in, try to turn and keep control, even though it was all trimmed out Wish they had capability to click on radio stack and popup in a new window so you can see as prev versions of flight sim had. I've found that even with the most up to date Community addons, I'm still having CTD's with the latest Asobo update. I renamed my Community folder and ran the sim and it was fine. But that's not fine with me because addons are what makes the sim. Aside from removing my 100+ addons and slowly restarting the sim to test...anyone found a good way to see what addons could be causing CTD's?

Anyone have problems to active the reverse trhotle after the last update? thanks
